It will be so fatiguant (the pool will open at 7 and will close at 22 on sunday, from 7 to 15 on monday and the next day I'll have to go to work) but the democracy REALLY deserve it !!!

I don't remenber if it was today or yesterday that I saw on the newspapers that the mafia was controlling the votes of the imigrants in Italy. What you think about it?

ALL THE BAD POSSIBLE !!!

I'll try to simplify: on 2005 Silvio Berlusconi had a "Waterloo" on the regional pollings.
He did a simulation for the next pollings and got a shock: with the old law he would have surely lost once again !!

That's why, few mounths before the election, have changed the law.

THE ACTUAL IS THE MOST ABOMINABLE IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

First one: we cannot choose a candidate instead that one another, because they are choosen direclty by the parties (we can only one choose them but the ones that could be elected are free to "pass" from a party to one another !!!).

Second one: the coalition who "gain" ONLY ONE VOTE MORE THAN THE OTHERS "GAIN" ALSO the 55% of the sieges of the "Camera", the rest must be divided for the other parties !!!

Third one: for the "Senato" the sieges are calcutated with a perverted system: if a coalition win in one region with MORE than 55% DON'T GAIN ANY BONUS !!!
OTHERWISE, THE LOOSERS GAIN A BONUS IN LOTS OF SIEGES !!!

As you can realize, this law was made just to win the pollings even without a majority, or to throw into a crisis the ones who could win !!!

In fact, in 2006, the oppositions won at the "Camera" for only 25.000 votes (the italian electorate amount to about 44.000.000, the last time the 85% of them went to vote) but, in a first time, Berlusconi won at the "Senato" for JUST 1 MORE SIEGE !!!

IT SEEMED !!!

THE DAY AFTER, THE VOTE OF THE ITALIANS ABROAD INVERTED ALSO THIS RESULT: JUST 3 MORE SIEGES FOR THE OPPOSITION !!!

Since that day, Berlusconi tried in any way to corrupt someone in the "Senato" just to have new elections (he doesn't mind about the crisis of Italy: he's caring also his OWN economics interest !!!).

This time he has tried to "secure" himself about the vote of the italians abroad and one of his lacché, "DELL'UTRI", who has been adjucted for mafia for several times (but for Berlusconi "HE IS AN HERO" !!!!), have tried to do a great BROGLIO !!!

I think that tomorrow will be a very hard day.....

You know, honestly, democracy is a lot like communism... It's a great idea, but in practicality, it just doesn't work. Democracy just fails on a longer term scale than communism does.

Lots of problems with the idea of mob (and I'm not talking about the mafia) rule. It starts out great, the visionaries fill out the government, but over time, it ends up leading to a decadent, corrupt, and self destructive society. Eventually the government will tear itself apart. It happened in Ancient Greece, it happened in the Roman Empire, and it's happening here in the US. It's the same pattern every time. I don't mean to go on a political tirade, but I'll just say those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Excuse me, have you seen my mind? I seem to have misplaced it...
