Well, it has its importance: since the first chapter Lamù will have always lots of troubles due to her fault and this is one.

But, sincerely, I "HAD" to write this chapter for 2 reasons:

- it had "exploded" inside of me, I couldn't resist;
- I wanted to do an experiment: just one words to describe a scene;

Plus, all that I've wrote is the sintesis of my own sensation: I suffer of "fake awaking" during the sleep and it's terrible to don't know when you're sleeping or you're awake.

One time I was really scared: my wife tried to wake up me and I gave her a punch in  face, because I didn't know where I was and if was awake or still sleeping.

That's harsh. False awakenings can be quite troubling. I can actually give you some pretty good advice on the matter though. Get yourself in the habit of performing a reality check when you wake up. I have to do the same thing myself, but for a very different reason. The best thing I've found is to check a clock whenever you wake up (I personally use the clock on my cell phone cause it has time and date). Because of the nature of dreams, numbers and letters are often backwards, or confused, or simply unintelligible. If it seems out of place, you know you're still dreaming. A positive side effect of this is that once you realize you're dreaming, you can begin to control your dreams, the first step on the path of lucid dreaming.

Like I was saying though, I don't really experience false awakenings. Because of certain... abnormalities (I guess that's the best word to use, but it's not like they're uncommon though) in my brain chemistry, my dreams are almost always extremely realistic. I can actually experience all 5 senses in my dreams... touch, taste and smell on top of the seeing and hearing that most people experience. On top of that I seem to be a natural lucid dreamer, so it's often quite easy for me to confuse dreams with reality.

oh and sidzero the reason we can't read in our dreams is because... we use our left side of our brains to read while dreams use the right side.

Well, sincerely I have to admit that I don't like at all that episode: I've just used someone of its scenes for my AMV and nothing else.

My goal was to do an experiment: to describe a scene using only 2-3 words.

Of course, also trying to shock the reader.

Last but not the least, I've thought that the worse betrayal of Ataru would be with the mother of Lamù: my idea started from this point, the rest had followed after.
