Title: How often do you watch UY?
Post by: nebbo on January 20, 2008, 11:41:00 PM: Time for some demographics, are you really the lumaholics you put yourselfs out to be? ;D If you vote at the very top you are a true lumaholic. Take note that every single day doesn't really mean every single day, it just means usually every day. Same goes for the rest.

I voted semi-daily, but then again there are periods when I don't watch it at all for weeks, like if I'm hooked on another series. How about you?

I voted once a week because I don't watch it for a while then have a monster session and get right back into it.

Right now, I cannot get enough UY :P

I don't really like watching TV and what not, personally. When I do watch it though, I go into marathon mode and spend a week or two watching the whole series, including movies and OVA's and what not. Actually, that's kinda how I am with any anime when I get the urge to watch it.

I prefer to read the manga. The ILM scans have become probably the most read files on my computer.

It's funny, I just got done with a marathon watching of UY and just started reading the manga again today.

- I'm mostly a gamer, so I play a lot more games then I should, which doesn't leave much time for much else. :P
- I gave up on getting the UY episodes, because my internet doesn't allow too many downloads (I'd have to get like 1 episode a week and skip a week each month) and I don't have any place to store them (all the ones I had, as well as all the episodes of AMG are now corrupted in my portable harddrive :-\).

So I guess I won't be seeing any more episodes, though I do have a very good idea of most episodes. :P

That, and it's too cold right now to go out into the garage and work on the racecar (making the watching of UY the perfect excuse to avoid shivering and cursing over the bent front axle beam on my Formula Vee >:))....

Anyone who doesn't watch it because they don't have it, you can find all the movies and all but the last "season" on YouTube. Seems like they're trying to get the last season and the OVA's up now. I got a link to the user that seems to be organizing the whole thing, so if anyone wants it, I can share.

Anyways,the status of lumaholic cant be measured by how many episodes we see,it is with the passion we watch them

Well I have all the UY series,ovas, movie and manga; as I stated a while back the manga seems more appealing to me than the series, but I'm scared to be hooked on it again meaning a lack of sleep ::)

Some advice for those that find that they lack the time, eat in front of the tv. No matter how busy you are you still have to eat right? ;D

As I became exposed to more interesting anime, such as Lupin III, Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Fist of the North Star, Vampire Hunter D, Ninja Scroll, Wicked City, The Big O, Outlaw Star, Trigun, Great Teacher Onizuka, Samurai Champloo, Metropolis, Ghost in the Shell, and FLCL I lost interest in UY.

UY episodes are really only worth watching once. Looking back on it, it's decent but not great.

Of course, I have recorded all UY episodes, movies and OVAS in DVD's and when I want to see them again I just sit down and watch on my dvd player.

Of course animes come and go and I have seen some animes that now are in my head but the classics are forever remembered.

I don't have the OVAs and movies anymore though, and I'm missing some of the episodes. I can't download them because I'll probably lose my internet for a week if I do it, so I guess I'm stuck. :S

on youtube, there's no choice but to split the episodes into 3 parts.
veoh is full eps though and you can find them easily by clicking the links in my (what is it called? message thing?) The text that appears at the bottom of each of MY posts.
