What I remember from the previous UY cameo topic, it got seriously sidetracked to fanservice, so I decided to restart fresh topic about that

Can't say for sure which version it is, the one I have I... acquired online. I think they're from the English-language versions that Viz produced, which were translated from the original tankoban versions (at least the first half of the set I have). It's from chapter 107 (chapter 5 of volume 11 in the books).

As far as Ataru and Happosai together, I don't see why not. Imagine if you threw in Miroku as well. :)

I guess you're right Cosmic. I'll explain why I don't think Ataru and Happosai would get along. Ataru would want ALL the girls in his harem. Happosai would want all the girls' underwear. This sounds ok but the girls wouldn't like to be naked or without her underwear in Ataru's Harem (they wouldn't like to be with him, either). So, Ataru in order to keep his Harem would have to avoid Happosai's "dirty crimes". And, in order to Happosai keep his robbed underwear, he would have to defeat Ataru. I hope I proved my point.

Nope, not in the 540 chapters that have been released to date. I just reread through the whole series a few days ago, and I didn't spot anything.

As far as the kindergarten Tomobiki gang, I haven't seen it. If you're talking about the anime, that's probably why. There have been a lot of kids that look like young Ataru, but not enough to say it's him.

Well, we were in the 80s and UY was the top of the list of anime; don't forget that, in the same years, there were a lots of cameo shared by both UY and "Maison Ikkoku" series (once for alls, Ataru, Shinobu, Megane, Kakugari, Chibi and Perma appear in that series as little childs and in the bedroom of Godai there's a gresat poster of Lamù).

UY is like the air: you cannot live without it  ;D  ;D

This weekend is the weekend of Summer COMIKET in Tokyo, the twice-yearly gigantic Comics Market. Along with all the independent comics and music and anime for-sale inside the halls, there are the Comiket Cosplayers posing outside the venue.
