Title: Lum's Mother

This topic is about Lum's mother as you already have noticed. Well do you remember the episode when Ataru's and other mothers go to the parents meeting? Lum's mother was there and she fought agains Shutaro's mother. Do you remember that she didn't know how to speak japanese? Well on the episode 57 "Domestic Quarrel - To eat or to be eaten?!" I have noticed that Lum's mother speaks japanese with her husband, Mr. Invader. I don't know if it is a mistake of the Anime directors and staff or if she learnt as the series were progressing.

I'm assuming that Lum's mother was in between other oni and were speaking the same native language. so it would be pointless if more than one person talked in another language and nobody would understand, so they made it into Japanese.

But in the movie 3 Lum's mother when talking to Ataru, Benten, Ran and Oyuki she also speaks japanese. Another mistake that the directors have forgotten.

If I remember correctly, she also spoke Japanese in the manga story about the morning glory. She tells Lum to stop complaining and finish her assignment (which is to draw the morning glory).
