Speaking of Otakus, have any of you ever seen "Otaku No Video"? I saw that a couple of days ago. If you haven't heard of it, it's kind of a mock-umentary on the Otaku, with anime and fake real-life interviews inter-twined. They have a couple of Lum references in it. Some of it is funny, and some is just disturbing.

*grin* Just had to be sure..

So I'd assume I'm not the only one capable of creating an entire anime series from scratch inside of my head am I?

Hell, when I first saw Robotech, I was going through each and every episode of the Macross Saga (volumes 1-6, only ones available) in my head, word for word. I think addict is an understatement...

Thing is, on the surface I'm a hardcore gamer, playing the likes of Half-Life, Interstate '82, you name it. Funny how a guy like me can get hooked on this stuff... truely works of art.

I've just gone through the "25 signs of Otakudom" and I've found I match up to a few of those... scary..

Mainly numbers 2, 3, 4 (sort of, I take some of my character names in Everquest off of a few animes I've seen..mix-n-match), 6, 7 (trying to get anime to show in Canada), 10 (my friends try to convince me that hotties such as Natalie Portman are "da bomb!" but somehow I find them lacking compared to Lum..), 15 (can't get her out of my head), 17 (well I would, except I don't have the money to blow, nor a car for that matter..), and finally 24 (my crazy friends keep calling me nuts for being in love with a cartoon character, which causes me to go into spasms).

Man, I'm either going insane or just tired, but I do know one thing, and it's the fact that they can have their "hot american teens" if they want, I just want Lum.. *grin*

How about you guys? I'm sure I'm not the only one showing signs of this.... uh, am I?

*looks nervous*
