so... i was curious... what's your favorite sport??
well i personally dont have one... but i was wondering... if anyone here plays any sport..
i know i dont!!

I love basketball and baseball but i dont play them so regularly

lol UY could be classified as a sport, lots of running, injuries, pain, suffering, always a winner and always a loser
anyway, i'm a soccer player(or football for europeans), play every sunday, also play volleyball on thursdays

I'm not a sports fan, but I like to watch soccer.
BTW, as I see it girl chasing could be considered a sport.
think about it:
1.Trying to arrange a date with at least one girl
2.Evading Lum at all cost
3.Writing down the most names & addresses for later date arrangements
To reach the ultimate goal
4.to get the most kawaii girls to achieve a Harem (with Lum included)

But to be a cheerleader you need to know how to dance. Ataru dances as a monkey. Back to the topic, I love all kind of sports that include teamwork (I don't know if it is well written). I will make a top 5 of my favourite sports:
1-Soccer
2-Handball
3-Basketball
4-Rugby/ Football (I have put these sports on the same place because I can't decide which one I like the most)
5-Beach Soccer

The best sport I've seen and done is Kill, but more complex is war.

Don't feel too bad. I don't get to fish often either. My dad is usually busy running errands assigned to him by my mom and my grandmother, so he rarely finds time to take me on a fishing trip.

My favorite sport is probably Basketball and football (soccer for some) I like motor sports too especially karts and quads but i only drive them when I go in vacations to my cousin house...

I have 2 (3) sports I like.
One of them is volleyball, something I only did in gym classes in school but I still like it. :P
The other one is swimming. I did it for quite a few years and I was even offered to go professional. Where would I be if I hadn't refused... :P
And if you consider it a sport, then I'll say gaming (it is considered a sport by some people...).
I hate football/soccer unlike the majority of the male population in this planet. :-\

Its not that I LOVE football I just like it because of its the best way to play with all your friends... and I like motor sports because I love competing with them (friends)...

I absolutely LOVE soccer! It can be described as Kroptik said but to me soccer is more complex than that.
Soccer is a sport that has team-work, skills, coordination, speed, aiming, courage and sometimes fair-play. Usually there isn't fair-play and sometimes it is even more violent than boxing. Usually people do mean things to other people and all because of this sport, and that people blame the referees for the results of a game. Sometimes, the referees aren't fair but it is just a sport. And those referees "bought" by some teams should be punished.
And for those people who can't play just don't give up. If you go there and give your best shot and have fun it's one of the best feelings you can have.

my favourite sport is becoming my biggest nightmare lol
this weekend i have referee soccer, 14 games over 2 days, parents, coaches and kids always go crazy and blame it on the ref

The referees are supposed to be fair. Unfortunately in Portugal that isn't the case. There are only a few ones that aren't "bought" by the presidents of soccer teams. My country is full of corruption.

Corruption is everywhere... in sports, politics and even in church... you see, there are no saints in this world... (at least I haven't seen one yet) and besides corruption is something that our parents and family teach us from very young...

What does it natter if we can't vote? We still see that the country has no hopes with our governments, since the only thing they do is leave the country worse for the next ones who will come...
I seriously don't know if there's hope for this country. :-\

I am the Special One... and besides I'm not calling you blind or something... I was just saying that you young people should worry about your friends, loved ones (Boyfriend and girlfriend), school (if you want to make a difference in the future) and other stuff... Leave politics for when you reach 20 and return from military service and peace keeping missions... where your weapons and equipment are older than you... :P After sometime you will figure out that things aren't that bad... ;D

Corruption isn't the only problem in Portugal. There are too much crime, accidents and car crashes due to the bad conditions of the roads, the hospitals and schools are closing in the small towns and then the people that live there doesn't have a way to go to other schools and/hospitals because they're too far from the population. There are more problems but this is just a sample.

Which one is better:Rugby or Soccer?

Rugby: Violence, Speed, Strategy, Stamina
Soccer: Aiming, Speed, Strategy, Stamina, Violence, Shot accurary, Shot power
I like both but I prefer Soccer, but not because I play better soccer than rugby.

I'm more of a non-contact sports guy (swimming, volleybol, mini-golf). :P

Skate is cool, too. I know how to skate but I don't know any tricks. Do you know that there's a sport that the only thing you have to do woodcut the faster you can? I'm not joking. I saw this sport in EuroSport Channel.

Snooker... I love snooker! I don't like watching others playing but I love to play. I don't master the game but I am not a begginer. Thanks to this thread, I think I'm addicted to sports. Right now I have three addictions: UY, food and sports.

Well a sport itself would be using muscles, and the brain is a muscle so I considerer a sport would be playing chess.

It is considered a sport but I consider it more like a mind game than a sport. Usually we (people) associate the word "sport" to games and activities that require physical resistence. But there is a huge of variety of sports.

Chess is one of the few mind games but are others like poker and dards that are interesting.

I love Poker. I never played real dards but I doubt that I could score many points. In Chess I'm a medium difficult oponent.
