I like Ran for reasons:
1. She's kawaii and hot(like Lum) :9~
2. She spoils Rei
3. She's defenseless on the outside, but it's the very exact opposite on the inside
4. She's one of the best UY females imo

I admit that Ran is on my Top 10 anime babe list (Lum will always be my #1 O+). Her split personality is what makes her funny. The episodes depicting the relationship between Lum and Ran are among the best episodes in the series. :D)

she changes suddently from happy to angry or the opposite!
she is very dedicated to rei. I just cant stop laughing when she sends little Ran's dolls to her friends and then they explode its very funny. I love her laugh and her personality because she is really funny. she is one of the mosts hilarious characters in UY

I'm a huge Ran-chan fan! I find her very interesting because she's not one-dimensional. She's knowledgeable in many subjects like cooking, tea parties, witchcraft, weaponry, technology, and of course, girliness. She has a great body and in my opinion, she would easily win (or runner-up) any beauty/fashion contest between the UY ladies. As long as she doesn't see or think about Lum, she might just be the perfect girlfriend...or maybe not. ;D
I especially like it when she's so happy that she does a little yelp and jumps up in the air (and hangs up there for a couple of seconds!). :D

If you think Ran's vicious, piss-off, fanged face is scary, you should see the huge pagan star she has in one of the rooms of her spaceship/house.

Ran is one of the best characters in UY. I think that Ran has no reasons to be mean or fight with Lum but the episodes with Ran are very funny

I agree with Dark. Those teeth are scary. Anyone would run away if someone was with that expression on his face.

Lum's not the only alien who has fangs. The only difference is that Ran's fangs appear only when she's either scheming or angry. Lum's fangs appear sometimes when she's being cute. :)

She seems a little bit psychopathic. Not the best qualities in a woman but extremely interesting... I would therefore let her date me, unfortunately for her, she only has eyes for Rei :?
If i was forced to rate her from 1 to 10 (1 being female Ataru, 10 being Lum)
she is worth a good 8.5 and 2 thumbs up :P

The only thing I don't like about Ran-chan is her laugh.
Her split personality is easy to handle because it takes a while for her to "anger up" before she goes nuts. On the other hand, she can revert back to her cute, girly self in a split-second. :)

Yeah, how one minute she's nice and girlish, then the next she's a total jerk lol I don't know any other character like that, so Ran's got my interest

^ Daa!! Daa!! Daa!! is an Anime that features a pink curly haired that is almost just like Ran in personality and in appearance. Give it a watch. ;)

I think the animators that designed it were the same of Lamù: if you pay attention Maris has her own facial expressions!

I don't have the right url but I remember so clear that in a frame from "Remember My Love" the supergirl makes a cameo of few seconds.

I agree with you, Uncle Gio, now that I am looking at that screencap from "Rock the Planet" and remembering the OVA of Maris the Super-Girl
Maybe they are from the same species or planet
