Asuka comes to Tomobiki High School to deliver a scroll message to Mendo. But seeing all the boys at school frightens Asuka. Then she happens to fall in on Ryu. Asuka thinks Ryu is a boy, and Ryu tries to show Asuka the truth.
Hilarious and yet disturbing, the relationship between Asuka and her brother, this is just the first peisode where we begin to see how ASuka feels about her brother. Poor Tobimaru doesnt even recover from his starting injuries in this one

I love that episode too...probably cuz it just so happens that Ryuunosuke and Asuka are my fav characters...urgh....I just feel so bad for asuka.

But it will never work out. Episode 21 shows to us that every clone has the same goal as the real Ataru, so they just argue and fight instead of doing a Harem.

Back to topic,i noticed that Mendo somehow has a slight degree of control over Asuka,will he be a key part in her cure? lets hope so,he would end up marrying her since she also feels love to him (he is a big brother too)

Asuka-san is a superbly-conditioned athlete with excellent endurance and super-strength on-demand, whereas Shinobu-san only has super-strength when she's upset. She can run faster than Shinobu-san can pedal on a bicycle. The only thing that can stop Asuka-san is an elephant tranquilizer dart.
I don't think Asuka-san really cares about Mendou. He just happens to fall under the "big brother" classification of male. She definitely prefers Tobimaro, and I believe Ryuunosuke-san makes her heart beat faster as well... ;D
She's the only person in Tomobiki that's more naive than Ryuunosuke-san... ;D

Very True lh, Asuka is the most naive character of the bunch, Well Lum would be another naive character who would fall under this list. Well she supposedly Asuka was intended to be taught the ways of life as her previous generations did. But as all generations were state of mind was on a very thin line, so most of the girls were kept concealed until marriage day. I'm assuming that due to the resolving the feud between the Mendo's family, Asuka had to be exposed without her complete training, so it was very early and dangerous for her to know the outside world. In that weak spot came over Ataru, who ruined the whole plans. I guess it's just him taking advantage of the situation
