Episode 10.
I dont know realy why, but it got some tingly feeling in that episode that i like..
its the Episode where Ataru gets a Love letter saying that a beutifull girl wants to meet him at a coffé shop but its Megane who have sent the letter and planning an ambush on him, but Lum finds out and at first she plans on letting Ataru getting beaten up... but she cant, and she assult the girl that Ataru is going to meet and takes her place, and after that when Lum have saved him she says she is going home to warm up the room and Ataru takes her hand as she fly's off and ask her to walk with him home instead.

So far this is my favorite episode in the series. I get the same warm and fuzzy feeling that you get when I watch the episode. Lum looks drop dead gorgeous in this episode. O+

This episode was remembered in episode 194 andmovie 5 as one of da better UY moments

it is considered one of the top 10 episodes, ataru really opens up in this one and finally realizes the beauty of lum

Episode 10 is still my favorite episode of all time. Such a tender and heartwarming episode! It has everything you could possibly ask for: comedic moments, tender moments, beautiful shots of Lum, great storyline, development between Ataru and Lum's relationship, and even a panty shot! I love this episode! ^_____^

Episode 10 is such a wonderful episode! It is funny, Ataru realizes that Lum is beautiful and in the end of the episode there is a scene that is SO cute!
It's impossible to forget about this episode.

why is it most of the good episodes were either at the bginning or the end of the series
I think it's because at the beginning it followed the manga a bit more closely and it was a new show so they had to make them good episodes to get people hooked on it. After a while once people are hooked the director can then begin to experiment with the show for better or for worse. The later episodes got a new director and he followed the manga much better than the 1st director and he was just a good director which is why many of the later episodes are really good.
I love this episode 10 though. It just can't help but make you happy xP

Now, returning to the original topic, I think there is not any doubt that this episode is one of the definitive moments of Urusei Yatsura because it gets referenced a lot as well as displaying the silent love of Lum and Ataru Moroboshi
