Jariten is the type of kid who would put on the "I'm a cute baby" act in front of the ladies, and, when the ladies have turned their backs, would then use the opportunity to take a peek up their skirts. :D)

Yeah, the conflicts between Ataru and Ten are fun to watch. "Fear of Meow" is one of the few episodes I've seen in which they actually worked together for a common motive.
By the way, Ataru wasn't much different from Jariten when he was a kid. He would hit on the high school girls frequently, he eventually earned himself a nickname: "The Snapping Turtle". The only difference is that we never see little Ataru behave as viciously as Jariten.

Well, in that scene Torajima appears to place his foot down on Ten's head or neck. Eventually, you hear a snapping sound, and Ten's body goes limp.
