Does anyone remember that music that passes when Mendo and Ataru stops at a traffic light and a band appears?

The official soundtrack from movie 2 is missing tons of tracks. I'm not sure but I think it's the only soundtrack UY related that has missing tracks, at least I didn't notice or remember other missing tracks in other soundtracks, TV series or movies.
Yes, some of the tracks are very similar, for example the main theme of the movie is heavily reused but almost every time it appears has a different instrumentalization.

It was ripped from the audio but it's in good quality, almost no SFX or voices.
That guy also has in his channel videos from the DBZ soundtracks where you can learn the characters leitmotifs used over the series, I listen to them frequently.

The soundtrack from Beautiful Dreamer kinda gives me Studio Ghibli vibes, specially Laputa: Castle in the Sky.

Katz Hoshi indeed composed for a Studio Ghibli movie : Only Yesterday.
Shame that you can't find many more works besides UY2: BD and OY, because I think he's a good composer with a nice touch, I would like to see/hear more.
Beautiful Dreamer is a GREAT movie but 1/3 of its charm comes from the dreamful and haunting soundtrack.

Too bad Rumiko Takahashi doesn't like it, but she keeps her mouth shut since it's a popular and, if not, a cult movie.
I like the wackiness but I'm mostly attracted to the drama and philosophical part of some episodes and movies.
