Niigata-based idol group NGT48 (a satellite of the all-powerful AKB48) celebrates the first anniversary of their stage performances with a tie-in with Niigata-native Rumiko Takahashi. Takahashi drew an illustration of Lum, wearing the outfit of NGT48, for the cover of the group's 1st Anniversary concert Blu-Ray.

Sadly, two semi-active Facebook groups took this as an announcement of a new movie.

The image is cute, I will give it that. But Lum with that color hair doesn't do it for me.  ;)

Well ... TBH, the manga Lum had reddish hair (more precisely, black hair with a red cast and iridescent highlights), but, I understand and share a preference for anime Lum's two-tone green hair.
