i think they do... I mean if 1 of the eps had them with alien fighter jets i assume they have laser guns lol

Not only do they use them laser guns but all kinds of guns with variable effects

They can not leave home without them

The Oni in Urusei Yatsura used amazing technology. The Clone Gun, the Love-Love Catchballs (& Trouble Catchballs), and the Oxygen Lozenge all come quickly to my mind.  My favorite, 'though, is the weapon Lum used in the "Girly-Eyes Measles" OVA episode: a shoulder-fired device which shot a sticky unpleasant substance that was politely called "bird-lime" in the liner notes. That's right: a Bird-S### Bazooka! Seems like a good idea: being covered in pigeon poo would slow me down, too.
