I dislike Rei when he's just handsome and stupid. But in his Tiger Cow form he's hysterical!
My favorite episode has Rei messing around behind Ran-chan's back.
Too bad I can't recall the name of that episode.
Rei the Tiger Cow was juggling buns and whenever Ran-chan looked at him he'd turn back into his handsome self.
She was walking ahead of him. he did this a few times
Of course who can forget the early episode where Rei learns he has lost Lum again and Ataru and Co. make fun of him when he is in the Beef bowl shop and he takes out a blow up Lum doll and it gets loose while he is blowing up and it whizzes through the air.
My wife had her hot chocolate coming out of her nose on that one! :mrgreen:
Rei the Tiger Cow is a real funny character.

Lol i hate rei overall but when hes in his tiger form hes pretty cute. He looks like a giant teddy bear thing xP

He's super funny in later episodes, but only in Tiger Cow form.
Other than that he's hopeless.
I'd love to find some Rei Tiger Cow figures but so far nothing.

I don't really like Rei too much even when he's in the tiger form, but I love when the other characters make fun of him and how other people react to him. It results in a lot of funny moments. In fact, to be honest I think Rei is the only character in the series that I don't like. He's an interesting concept but I just find the character to be a bit bland and not very funny, but I am glad that he exists because of the way other characters interact with him.
Edit: I do have to agree with foxhead that Rei is pretty cute in his tiger form. They should totally make a plush of it (if they never did).

Rei gets a raw deal because the writers didn't want Lums exBF around too often. But that one episode totally redeemed Rei the Tiger Cow. If only I could remmeber which one it was.
A Tiger Cow Plushie would be great. I've never seen one tho.
UY had so many bit characters. Kotatsu Neko was a more common character than Rei.

Probably the one where Ataru eats a "special muffin" (dropped by Ran as she was on her way to a picnic with Rei) and gets deathly ill; Lum goes to find Ran & Rei, and Rei drops everything to get them back to Ataru in time.

Might be, it was only once last year that I saw it. I just remember Rei was changing back and forth from his tiger cow form when Ran-chan wasn't looking. There probably was muffins in it.
I'd love to find that video on YouTube since I no longer subscribe to NetFlix.
