Well, in your opinion what is the more twisted character ?
I chose Ataru: his contrattiction is the main root of the success of UY :D

I would choose Asuka Miszunokoji (http://furinkan.com/uy/characters/asuka.htm), because she is twisted by having three things, crazy brute strength, androphobia and love for her brother. when I saw the character Mahiru Inami (http://myanimelist.net/character/24419/Mahiru_Inami) from the anime Working!! I immediately thought of Asuka. the key differences between both are that Inami is a only child from a family with an normal economic status and Inami's fear of men and strength was intentional by mainly her father other than someone interrupting a family tradition like Ataru did. this hasn't had a classification until Inami came, Asuka would be now be classified as a bokodere according to 2ch. So there you have it a shy girl who involuntarily hits men out of fear and ironically loves her brother. I you put that one on the list I will gladly put my vote there

Well... Shinobu or Mendo would be my favorite contradiction... (from a classmate point of view and Tomobiki inhabitant)
I don't see cruelty as a contradiction... since deep down it's in all of us... we are humans after all... XD
I vote for Ryonosuke... Now that's a contradiction... being a girl yet forced and raised to be a boy... even with her manly personality she is still a cute and fragile young woman that wants to wear a bikini... XD

The point is that, even if due to jealousy, Lamù is so much cruel: when Ginger, Pepper and Sugar strike back for the second time she's able to destroy both them than Tomobiki's district just because she's "angry" with Ataru but, as she has bet with him that will not be angry for three days, feel the need to "vent" on the sly!
There is so little to be done: for R.T. all the demons are still cruel !! ;D ;D ;D

I don't know if in english sounds the same way than in italian but, in this cases, we're used to say: "you're turning the knife into the plight" (it means: "you're enjoying torturing me") :'( :'(
