What do the cookies on this website do? I have a firefox addon that shows cookies and it indicates that this site has one.

They keep you logged in for one thing.

Also, do you know when you sometimes see a link you've visited before in a different color?
That's because of cookies too.

That's the only thing it does. It keeps you logged in and the collected information IS NOT used for other purposes. It's just for the forum itself.

Thanks Lum-chan, I'm glad its not used for collecting internet history or files on the computer. That invades privacy and slows down the computer.
