Title: [EXPLAINED] Low graphics mode for LC.com?

I live in an area with a maximum internet speed of 1 mb/s and I am sure many of people in the same situation. I have found that this site runs more slowly in comparison to others, could a low graphics mode be included that does not display any images or embedded videos? I have found that images slow down this page an awful lot, the biggest problem is signitures as they appear on every post.

This site sometimes slows down on me too, even with my decent high-speed service. It has nothing to do with the graphics. They are no complications here.

For example, when I look at the file sizes of this page, the little things it loads are usually less than 1 KB, and never goes over a 100 KB. I'm sure your 1 MB/s can handle that.

Also, I think Lum-chan has mentioned before that it was the webhost's fault.

SonicDaMan is correct. From time to time the response from the SQL database server is awfully slow. On other moments it's really fast. I'm very sorry for this, but I'm hoping my webhosting provider will upgrade the SQL database server asap.
