Title: My First Importation
Post by: veehive on February 01, 2009, 06:17:38 PM
Took almost a year of occasional searching to find the right link to the right link to the right site to the right page ....

Took SIX DAYS FLAT from order to arrival! Wow! (I've ordered things from across town that took longer!)

成功 !!!

I would use those Lum themed keychains as earings or something. xD Joking of course. Lum keychain is the coolest of them all, don't you agree?

Rakuten International Shipping Services  http://www.google.co.jp/translate?u=http://event.rakuten.co.jp/borderless/index_en.html&sl=ja&tl=en&hl=ja&ie=UTF-8

There is a translation engine located to the right of the Search block at the top of the page, so you can have the pages re-translated into the language of your choice. YAY!! ;D . My best Search results used " うる星やつら " to find items (copy & paste that, minus the quote marks, into the Search engine). Since Rakuten is an "on-line shopping mall" servicing many small shops, expect many duplicate listings.

Happy Shopping.

Check the shipping costs before you buy, Giovane. You may be in for a shock. Shipping from Japan is pretty expensive. My keychains (actually, they're key covers) wound up being 1,800 yen [about $20/15.5 euro] for the 4 of 'em; shipping was 2,500 yen [$28/21.5 euro]!

Yes: shipping was more than the cost of the items themselves! Still, it's WORTH IT to me. ;D

EBay is another great resource for collectables of any sort. I was watching eBay for these keychains (I first saw them on Amazon.Japan who wouldn't offer them for shipment outside Japan) but they never came up on eBay, and I was losing hope. I really fell In Love with 'em. So, I'm glad I found this source for 'em.

Oh. Cata? You're closer than you think with your suggestion of wearing 'em as earrings. One's been put on a neckchain so I can wear her. The other will be going onto a bass-guitar strap on my primary bass-guitar (as soon as I figure out the mounting I want).

37€ is just crazy! o.o

I think its a fair price...

I once tried to buy something from ebay that was priced as $59.99 and the shipment cost was $71.99 and I'm not including tax fees and creditcard fees... XD

So yeah... I think $40 for 4 "collection items" is a fair price... :P

Well if that's the lowest price you've ever seen on Ebay then yes, 37 euros is a low price.

I'm not worried about the item price... XD
The shiping costs are the ones that deter me from buing them... ;D
