I'm sorry, I'm a little confused what we're suppose to talk about here?

I'm gonna venture a guess and say we should talk about the 6th movie?

Well, from what I know, Rumiko wasn't too please with this movie as well as the 4th. The may have gone overboard with the love potion.

Perhaps there is an unwritten law about love potions never working.

Was the 6th movie even based on any manga? Maybe that's why Rumiko wasn't pleased with it? (I know she had to give permission to make the movie, but maybe the final result didn't please her.)

I don't think any of the movies besides the 5th one were in the manga.

True. So?

I have more of a problem with their characterization of Ataru than anything else in that movie. Actually, other than the way they portray Ataru's personality, I thought the movie was pretty good.

What About The Japanese Animation Itself In This Anime Film?

Different from the rest of the UY animation but I guess that was to be expected because the animators (or whatever they're called) were different and the time difference from the Episodes to this 6th Movie is really big.

To be honest, I kinda liked the style of animation in movie 6. It may not be the familiar UY style of animation (which in and of itself was inconsistent, compare early episodes to late episodes), but it was nice in it's own rights.

Though I think the movie 5 style of animation was the best.

What about the ending theme song at the end of this movie?

One of my favorites. Gets right up and JUMPS, baby! Good dance tune. And, then there's the guitar -- LOOOVE that amp' he's using, sounds like it's ready to BLOW UP 8)(probably an AC30 clone -- guitarist just get his first Matchless [brand of guitar amplifier]? XD), great bouncy whammy-bar solo. Fun. ;D
