No, like I said in that thread... just making it more convenient. If someone doesn't have the 999 megs of free space on their computer needed for these files, they can still read it there. Or if they just don't like it enough to take the time to download it. I won't judge.

What kind of program are they?

They're Comic Book Archive files (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic_Book_Archive_file). Basically, they're just RAR files of JPEG images, but if you use one of the many reader programs available, it's easier than unzipping and browsing through them one at a time. The program I use is CDisplay (http://www.geocities.com/davidayton/CDisplay), but there are plenty of options available if you google it.

CDisplay is a good program to use, I'd recommend it. Actually wait, do those downloads contain the chapters in one file (for each download) or are the chapters separated?

Each wideban volume is one file. The first volume is 19 chapters, and the rest are between 22 and 26 chapters (most of which are 25 chapters) each. 15 separate downloads there.

hmmm it might be a little harder with CDisplay... I'm gonna have to check one.
Cause if it's 19 chapters in one file, that oughta be kinda hard to go through, even with scrolling.

i know about this one, found it while seeking re direct download UY manga,
have to use Torrent in the end,
guess we will have to leave it be.
