Seems like not that long ago that I did the 2008 Top 10. I wanna do it again for 2009 ^_^
But obviously I can't start votes no, it's not 2009 yet. But it IS getting pretty close, 2.5 months away.
I wanna know if someone would like to Co-Host it with me ^_^

What will you do about the co-host thing? Great idea you had UruseiNeo about a 2009 top-10. I think maybe we should do a different top-10 in 2009. I think it should be the Top 10 Urusei Yatsura's funny episodes edition.

Well for co-hosting, I'd need a better way to contact the person, MSN for example.
Then we could plan the episode together. I do have some new ideas.

There are two ways we could host it:
1. Have a display picture and do a voice over for it. (Like I did for the 2008 one)
2. Film our individual segments.

lol, I didn't mean "Falling_Star" emoticons. I meant falling as in "to fall"
Falling anime style is one of the anime Laws, I think. The one where a comment meant to be funny (whether funny or not) is made and then everyone else falls over, legs in the air.

Ah, yes: the Japanese "Take". Took me a while to understand it.
You all know what a "take" is, right? It's a character's sudden comedic reaction to some input or stimulus. When the wolf's eyes pop out of his head & his jaw drops onto the floor at the sight of a sexy girl, he's doing a take. When a character chokes on their sip of coffee in reaction to something another character just said, that's doing a take. When they spit out the coffee in a spray in the same situation (a gag made famous by Lebanese-American comedic actor Danny Thomas), that's known as a Spit-Take.
So, when Ataru falls on his face, arms and legs askew in the air (and sometimes holding fans or flags in his hands which bear the Rising Sun motif of the Japanese national flag), he's doing a take.
I think THAT's what UruseiNeo wants -- Ataru (most likely) doing a pratfall take.

well I'm not looking for "tripping" exactly. The character doesn't even need to be walking anywhere and they could "fall anime style". Basically, they fall over and their feet stick up in the air.
I can't find an example of what I'm thinking of.

Whenever someone says something that is intended to be funny, whether actually funny or not, the rest of the characters (even animals) fall to the ground with their feet in the air. Sweat sometimes accompanies the fall (The sound of a cow mooing usually accompanies the joke as well.)

Okay, the new year is getting close and I wanna start the voting for the 2009 Top Ten Urusei Yatsura Episodes.
But I don't wanna have to remake that entire poll, I'm pretty sure it took me about an hour to get all 195 episodes in that poll.
So is there any way to reset the poll? Or maybe create a topic with the same options?
