Everyone keeps speaking of Mayuka as the pair's first daughter, but we're all missing someone.

I'm talking about Imo-chan the fairy.

At first a caterpillar, she became a fairy thanks to Ataru and Lum. She even said "Mama" addressing Lum and "Papa" addressing Ataru.

After episode 25, who could say Ataru would be a bad parent? ;D

Imo-chan! ^^ I have a female cat and Imo-chan is her name because of that fairy. About parenting I compare Ataru to Eminem (rapper) because even though that Eminem made a lot of $%@# in his life, he always put his daughters as his top priority and never forgot about them. He even made songs for them. Ataru is irresponsible and most of the times he's a complete idiot but when it comes to very important things, he is really best person in the whole World.

Nah... Maybe Mayuka wasn't planned, but it doesn't mean that they don't love her. Or one of Ataru's dreams is to be a father. Not even Ataru can resist to Lum.

We never got to see/read it BUT after finishing school and begining his adult life he could be more interested in having a family.

For  some  reason  it  makes  sence  that  he  would  have  a  douther.
Maiby  because  he lives  girls  so  much.

and  also
 kind  of    makes  up  for  the  fact  that  he  was  born  a  boy  wen  his  parents  were  hoping  for  a  girl.

Stragetly  in  the  anime,  and the  manga  they  hint  his  first  child  would  be  a  boy.
