Well, time has came also for the half-demon Inuyasha: with the number 67 the saga will end (the source is the Shogakukan)
It means that Rumiko Takahashi is already thinking to another manga.
How much i would that she could write almost another history for Lamù and friends...

If takahashi continued Urusei Yatsura, it would be kinda hard, since us as fans are picky on what we want on the series now. If she doesn't plan to retire after this it would be nice if she started a new manga

We all know anime apisodes not featured in manga usually suck; at least, that's what everyone said about Naruto, I think?
BTW, Lum looks great inn that movie, whoever drew her did a great job. ;D

Or a video game... because from what I see the animation industry is transforming games into anime/manga... and then into manga/anime...

i would prefer the episodes first because we can have more acess to them using the internet, in portugal there isn't any of the urusei yatsura manga at least that i've seen :-\

I think I would disagree with the last part. For me, one thing I like about Urusei Yatsura is that Ms. Takahashi wrote a lot of parody of pop culture into it: American and Japanese fast-food, TV and movies, baseball stars, politicians, and sumo coaches all got included in her manga as well as the anime. So, cell 'phones, e-mail, texting, laptop computers and internet cafe's ... they would all belong in new Urusei Yatsura stories. :)
(I can see Ataru with a Blackberry to help organize his girl-hunts ... trying to text all the girls at an internet cafe ... or getting caught e-girl-hunting because of a program Lum loaded into his MacBook which would make it slam shut on his lips when he tried to kiss the screen ....) ;D

i believe yer referring to "filler" episodes. filler eps are just eps that are done so that the anime doesnt catch-upto or go ahead of the manga, cuz you need the manga to do the eps.
so if the eps are ahead of the manga, everything comes to a halt, the show gets stalled.
and filler eps are considered by many to be not-good, cuz theyre really outta-nowhere or dont have much plot or story to them, after all, they only make filler eps to waste time so that the show dont catch upto the manga.
