Some people aren't posting... and that is scary, because, one of them is our Forum Master Spammer... Mr. DarkDevil...
This is something I tought I would never have to say but... I miss his spam... ;D :P
There's also the fact that the King of the Cosmos may have lost his inspiration... since he no longer surprises us with his amazing and funny posts on Nightmare Battles and Amused to Death Topics... and alot other Topics...
Everyone seems to be... Idk... Tired, maybe?
Well it's vacation time... but still... try and post something, anything... That goes for the rest of you members... LoL
Oh... I almost forgot about Forgotten... But, what the hell... Who cares... ;D

The one I'm most worried about is Cata. Just seemed to fall off the RADAR screen in mid-April. Some suggestions that she's lurking, but no confirmation of it.
(Having said that: there's another thread specifically about her disappearance, and I'll eventually post my sentiments there, I guess)

Well Cata's last login was from 12th of April (which, by a pure coincidence, is the day she made 1 year since she registered in the forum...bizarrecoinciden ce I know).
As for Forgotten and Cosmic, they were on yesterday. Guess they just didn't have anything to say...
And Dark has already showed in the Nightmare Battle that he's still active. :P

well I've seen that cata still logs in her youtube account, I wonder what the problem could be ???

Well, I just joined a couple of days ago so I don't really know.
I wonder when was the last time when someone registered here before me.
This site could do some updating. I mean, there's a lot of dead topics in here.
It would be good to make some kind of a forum cleaning, maybe.
Also if admin is willing to do it, kick out some members that aren't active.
Oldest last posts in topics I found after doing some search, was from around 23rd october 2004, so they have been dead almost 4 years.

Don't worry, peeps...
This happens every summer since the serveral versions of this forum are available. After the vacantions, most freqents are coming back ans start spamming again. I've seen this happen before, no worries
Oh and about the old/dead topics. They are a kind of archive within the forum with lot's of useful info on starting Lum-a-holics ;D They never will be removed, Webspace isn't a problem on that point with a database of only 200 Megs at this moment. I have a massive 1 GB reserved for the database only and can be expanded easlily :o

About the inactive members though, I vote that people who are inactive for a year get their accounts deleted.
Sounds like way over a fair time and some people only seem to get an account to get the songs. :-\

kroptik, in the past i was maybe 2 years inactive, and 'returned home' :P

I'll be back on this with new counts...

Now there are just 346 registered members left. I deleted all members up to 1 year ago with a postcount of zero (0). I just deleted 324 inactive accounts.... :o
Let's see what happens in the upcoming weeks.
Just a few reacted on my messages according to the post/action a made more than a year ago. This thread has been read may times but nothing serious happened after one year Userbase cleanup / Email-addres validation (Read 254 times) (http://www.lum-chan.com/index.php?topic=600.0)

It's a good thing that inactive members that have less than one post are getting deleted. Because probably most who had logged in a year or two ago will most likely forget their login name and password and evidently make a new account. But it seems a rather large amount was deleted, kinda scary

Indeed, I made the calculations and between the ones that have 0 posts and 1 post the number of the members goes to 204 members. (This also includes the new members registed this month of course but I sure that they will post more.)
But I have to say that the situation it's very bad.

I agree. Most of those users registered because of the MP3 Votes. This isn't in use anymore. I'm working on an option so that users need to have a minimal number of posts to get at special places. Spamming won't help. There are mods :police: to prevent this (I hope)...
We'll see what will happen in the future...
