Ok heres the first RPG storyline here. My charactors going to be Kintaro because Kintaros cool.
Anyways here it is. I'll start the storyline
Storyline #1 Mendo 1 half and the coming invasion
One day Mendo woke up to hear the sound of a helecopter over his roof.Mendo got his katana and went to see what it was. He steps out ounto the balcony to see Tobimaro his life long rival looking down on him. Tobimaro said "So Shu chan! Who would of thought we would meet in a place like this? It must be fate bringing us together toward our final conflict!" Mendo shouts "Ton chan this is my mantion your hear because you came here. Now what do you want? Do you want to fight?" Tobimaro pulls a water ballon out of his shirt and shouts "Take this! the ultimate humiliation!" The water baloon explodes on Mendos head. Tobimaro says "Thats for revenge for declaring war on me in movie four! Why arent you turning into a panda? Whoops wrong baloon!" Mendo flings a bowling ball at Tobimaro who catches it in his mouth and falls off the balconey. Mendo had changed! He had changed into a girl with red hair!
Meanwhile on a ship veiwing earth was a girl who apeared to be Lum but her hair was colored different. She says "Thats the planet! We will invade in two weeks!"
Ok now the rules for this storyline are kinda simple. You can be any UY charactor you want and you can also create new charactors as well.
No Godlike charactors or at least none who directly interfere with the game.
Try not to mess up the continuity by having a person in a place where he wasnt in the post before for example.
If you dont know what to do just continue this storyline you can do what you want with it except this time playing as one of the charactors in it and be sure to follow the rules above.

(Non RP)Looks great, I'll do a bit of research tomorrow to find out just who all the characters are (as I haven't seen anything beyond Episodes 1-8, I've read a lot of info though) and see if I can make a contribution.

Alright, I think I've thought something up.. I'm also going to place down the date this is occuring (minus the year, to avoid confusion) so we can keep a bit better track over what's going on. I'll also probably be making this from more of an "overhead" perspective, rather than taking control of one certain character at a time, at least untill I get into this more.

Date: July 25th
Time: 12:34 AM
Location: Outskirts of Tomobiki, long dirt road.
In the late darkness, 2 dark figures could be seen slowly walking up the road, close together. As they approached a bench, they turned and sat down.
Shinobu turned to Ataru, eyes wide with worry.
"Are you sure this is such a good idea? Lum can see like a hawk, even at night."
Ataru giggled a moment and looked at Shinobu.
"Hee hee, don't worry, I had Cherry make a special potion that I put into Lum's drink, she'll be asleep for hours!"
"Well it's nice that we can finally spend some time together... we've got the whole night in front of us, this is the longest we've been able to be alone! So.. what do you want to do tonight?"
Ataru thought for a second.
"Um, gee, I'm not sure.. I've usually been so busy either trying to avoid Lum or the lynch mobs that this is kind of a surprise..."
Shinobu thought for a second as well, then looked up, smiling.
"I heard that the lake is very pretty at this time of night, why not take a look down there?"
The 2 figures stood up and began walking down the path. Behind them, in a small tree, a very small figure could be seen, hovering in mid-air.
"Boy, what a time for Lum to take a nap.. I'd better go try to wake her up again, I like it when she calls me a good boy, and she'll really like me after I tell her this!"
Ten chuckled and flew off to Ataru's house.
(10 minutes later)
Ten was becoming very annoyed. As he poked and prodded Lum, trying to wake her up, he muttered about Lum being so lazy after marrying such a loser, and looked over at one of her packs to see if he could find anything. Barely able to lift it up, he then accidentally dropped it on Lum's head, spilling the contents of some 20+ potions. Lum screamed and sat bolt upright.
Ten cheered and said "Lum! You're finally awake!"
Lum quickly rushed into the bathroom and washed the contents from her hair, then watched in horror as they mixed together and slowly burned through the sink, then the floor... then through the bottom of the house...
"I hope nobody was sitting down there." she muttered, then turned to Ten. "What is it dear, why did you need to wake me up?"
Ten chuckled and explained just where Ataru was.
Meanwhile, at some random lake near at the outskirts of town, Ataru and Shinobu sat together on the beach, just watching the water and the trees.
"This is very pretty.. I'm so glad I'm with you Ataru.."
Ataru just laughed and said nothing.
"I feel so close to you.. I was wondering.. we're all alone and...."
Ataru began to shake a bit in excitement, this was what he had waited all his life for!
"I just want to-"
"-get away from my darling!!"
Shinobu looked up in horror, as she saw a familiar green-haired vixen floating in the air.
"Ataru! You told me she was asleep! What was this, another one of your tricks to embarass me!" Shinobu picked up a VERY large rock and hung it over Ataru's head. Lum screamed.
"Darling!! What were you doing going out with that dirty girl! It's past your bed time!" Lightning could be seen flying around Lum's hair and hands.
Ataru screamed and took off down the road, towards no real destination but away. He ran faster than he had ever run before, and after 5 minutes, noticed that he wasn't being followed. He hid behind a bush and uttered a long stream of swear words.
Meanwhile, back at the lakeside, Shinobu and Lum were arguing. Suddenly a loud screech was heard, and looking up, they saw what appeared to be a large flaming asteroid heading right for them. They both screamed and went in opposite directions.
After a large explosion, a form could be made out among the smoke. A small insignia was found on there, along with the words "Shaithan Elite Force: Recon unit 21001-A". The large object cracked open, and a small mecha unit emerged, barely taller than Lum or Shinobu. It took a quick look around, nodded towards the unconsious bodies of Lum and Shinobu, and with a large flare at it's back, took off and flew into the night towards an unknown destination.

Suddenly several guys wearing dark sunglasses grab Ataru and take him into a black limosine. Sitting next to Ataru is Mendo. Mendo takes a complaining Ataru to his mansion. Mendo explains "Ataru I've recently aquired a rather embarresing condition thanks to Ton chan. To demonstrate Mendo pour a cup of cold water over his head and he turns into a girl. Ataru shouts "Hey your a babe!" and he trys to feel Mendo up. Mendos guards restrain him. Mendo says "Ataru the reasone I called you here is because I need a guinie pig to find a cure. Each of these viles contains a sample of the water from each of Ton chans baloons. One of witch I believe has my cure." Mendo picks up one of the viles and is about to pour it on Ataru.
The robot from before is standing outside Mendo mansion it's sensors detect what it was looking for. It zooms in to see Ataru trying to back away from Mendo.
Somebody taps the robots back and it turns around to see Kintaro and his bear. Kintaro shouts "I'm going to live like a man! This is life! Give me your money!" he waves his ax at the robot.
Somewhere in space is Lums double looking at the picture of Ataru and other reconsaince pictures.
Behind her is man bound and gaged in a chair. The man behind her is named Tyler. Tyler gets the gag out of his mouth.
The last thing he remembered he was on board the soyokaze and was about to make contact with an unknown ship. But after that he couldnt remember anything.
ooc: oh well it looks like thisll turn into more of a rounder then an rpg but I guess thats ok.
I brought Tyler from the anime irresponsible captain Tyler into the story because he's the luckiest guy in any anime and I thought it would be interesting if he met Ataru who the most unlucky. Also they act kinda simular sometimes.

Recon unit 2001-A stared a moment, while the pilot inside tried to comprehend the fact that a little kid with a large axe, and a bear, was threatening him for his money. The pilot ignored Kintaro and turned around again, trying to re-locate Ataru, when suddenly it noticed a small clanging behind it, the boy was chipping away at the suit's armour. The pilot sighed to himself, turned around, and charged up his main plasma rifle. The sight of the large bulge in front of the gun, ready to be released, was enough to scare Kintaro off, muttering that he would be back soon enough. The recon unit turned around yet again, and once again the pilot sighed as he was unable to locate his target. He then noticed that he was being watched from a nearby camera. Instead of destroying it, he took off into a nearby forest and set down.
With a small hiss and a click, the head of the armour popped off, revealing a purple-haired young man. The front plates of the armour popped open, and the man hopped out and sat down on a rock, studying the armour and performing maintenance on it. A name tag was visible on his uniform, "Zard".
The tired soldier took a glance at PDA (personal data assistant) on his watch, and changed a few settings to compensate for the planet he was on. The time indicator then read 5:43 AM.
Meanwhile, back at the beach area, Lum and Shinobu were regaining conciousnous. Lum got up and looked around, then flew off towards town, yelling out "Darling! Darling!" Shinobu scowled and also took off into town, following Lum.
Meanwhile, in Mendo's mansion, Ataru is sitting in a dark room, bruised and beaten. All of Mendo's attempts to use the various vials on Ataru has failed, with Ataru kicking around faster than a rabid mule, screaming that he was made to HUNT girls, not be one. A single window at the side of the room is the only illumination. Ataru crawls over and looks out, where he sees Mendo talking with a scientist, and the usual massive armies marching back and forth across the compound, backed up by thousands of tanks, aircraft, and AA guns. Cussing, Ataru wonders just how he's gonna get out of this one, as the door is locked and bolted shut, and jumping out the window would be suicide, even for him.
Back in the forest, Zard watches the sun slowly raise over the forest.
"Tis a beautiful sight" he says to himself. "One I shall soon be able to see every day, once we conquer this planet. Heh, one good thing about being recon.. you get to see all the great sights before the rest of them do."
Taking a breath of air, Zard climbs into his mecha, and with a small hiss it closes around him. The face plate lights up. A small panel opens up on the shoulder of the mecha, and an antenna sticks out. A small discharge appears, barely discernable to the naked eye. Then the attena closes. Zard begins walking forward, getting ready to head out. Suddenly, a small yell is heard behind him, and a small object can be heard falling on the ground. Zard spins around, plasma rifle at the ready. A small green-haired baby emerges, muttering about how difficult it is to keep one's balance while being so tired. Zard mutters to himself, lowers his plasma rifle, and with a white flare at his back, takes off into the sky. A disgruntled Ten follows, curious.

Tyler wriggles around in his ropes trying to loosen the knots.
Meanwhile Ataru kicks one of the viles and it falls on one of the scientists who turns into a guine pig. Mendo says "Hmmm I guess it wasnt that one."
Ten trys to follow Zard when pole whacks him in the face and he falls to the ground. It's Mako! Ten trys to run away but Mako jumps on him. Kintaro comes out of the bushes and asks if theyve scene any robots. Behind Kintaro is the robot in question who just landed. A voice comes out and says "Hey why are you guys following me around? You wouldnt be spies? I'm going to have to ask you guys to come back with me." He holds up his plasma blaster.

As the massive ship nears Earth, a large insignia can be seen under the bridge, "Spartacus". Inside the bridge, the red-haired woman is interrogating Tyler.
"Talk damn you! Where is Lum? I know she must be alive, as I have not yet been granted control of the Oni kingdom! Tell me now and we'll bypass a lot of pointless suffering.. I can assure you that my methods are undesireable by many."
As the girl winds up to deliver another slap to Tyler's face, a beeping can be heard from a console behind her. As she turns around, it can be seen that she looks almost EXACTLY like Lum, minus the clothing and the hair, but including the fact that she also has little horns. A name tag is also seen, "Terra". As she walks over and presses a blinking button, a holographic display appears. It shows the words "Recon Data: Unit 2001-A. DECRYPTING....." A flood of random characters fills the hologram, and then a scene appears. It shows various photos from Mendo's mansion, a forest area, and other sights, accompanied by intel data showing weak points and bio-chemical makeup. After the display finishes and vanishes, Terra smiles and returns to her victim.. only to find him gone.
"Damn! He's elusive as hell, this is gonna be a real pain to hunt him down again..."
Stabbing a blue button on her console, she yells out "Security! Our prisoner has escaped, he could be anywhere on the ship by now! Lock down all escape pods and begin a massive search! Leave nothing unturned! Captain Terra out!"
A countdown timer is seen on a large display overhanging the main viewer on the bridge. The timer reads 76: 22: 38, or 76 hours, 22 minutes, 38 seconds. Terra cusses and wanders off the bridge, searching for her victim.
Back on Earth, Zard is hovering over a massive ocean, holding a small container in the giant mecha's hand. Inside the container is a very annoyed Kintaro and a whimpering Ten. Zard patches in his intercom.
"Alright here's the deal kids. You tell me just what you've seen so far and why you've been following me, and I don't drop this capsule into the water for you to drown." Zard flexes the hands of the mecha, slipping the capsule a couple of inches just to show his point.
Kintaro gives up trying to whack his way out with his axe and speaks up. "You'll get nothing out of me, big mean monster! Give me your money or I'll hurt you very bad!" With renewed energy he begins hopelessly whacking away at the capsule again. The head of the mecha turns slightly.
"And what of you kid?"
Ten whimpers some more and says nothing.
"I see. Well, I guess I have no further use for- what the?"
Readouts inside of the head of the mecha show a small power reading on Ten's head. The computer makes it out to be some kind of low-powered beacon.
"Ah, looks like I may be having company soon.. I'll give you people 5 minutes to speak up, considering as you're kids. But after that, I'm dropping this thing and getting on with my mission, I don't have much time to waste with insects such as yourself." Zard switches on a countdown timer and sits, waiting.
High over Tomobiki, a very concerned Lum is still pacing around, calling out Ataru's name. Suddenly a small beeping is heard, digging into her bikini top, she pulls out a small homing device.
"Now what's this for again... oh yes, I gave this to Ten in-case he ever got into trouble."
She stops to ponder a minute.
"Wait, that means Ten is in trouble! I should go help fast!"
Using the homing device, she flies off towards the ocean.
Zard glances at the timer, 10 seconds remain.
"Ok kids, looks like you don't want to talk. I have a mission to perform and I can't afford to be tailed by a bunch of annoying insects, so I'm disposing of you. Have a nice afterlife."
Suddenly Ten and Kintaro break out crying, screaming that they don't want to die.
"Yea figures, they always wait till the last-...huh?" A scream was heard, followed by a large "WARNING" light suddenly appearing on Zard's HUD, showing a massive energy surge behind him. He begins to turn the Mecha around, only to take a blast to the rear, sending the capsule spinning out the mecha's hand and into the ocean with a large splash.
"What the hell was that?! Damage report!"
"Minor damage to rear thrusters, lateral and vertical systems showing 90% integrity. Nanite units deployed to begin repair operations, ETA, 2 minutes to completion."
Spinning the mecha around, Zard only sees a second splash of something diving into the water after the capsule.
"Computer, give me the details of that energy surge and the source."
Various readouts appeared, first of the lightning bolt. "Analysis shows energy signature to syncronize with known Oni energy readings.." the computer reported. "Probability of source being Oni: 76%. Beginning analysis of source....NOTICE: Primary mission target located!" A wireframe display of Lum appeared on Zard's HUD. Zard grinned. "Aha, I believe this was what her highness Terra was searching for.. computer, prepare personal transmission and uplink to mothership!"
Meanwhile underwater, Lum was using all of her strength to rip open the capsule and bring Lum and Kintaro to the surface. After catching their breath, they noticed the large mecha hovering over the water, it's back turned towards them. Kintaro began madly swimming for shore, muttering about his bear getting lost again, while Ten clutched to Lum closely in fear. A small movement was seen on the mecha, and an attena appeared. Lum growled and slowly emerged from the water, moving towards the mecha unit.
"Uplink established. Hailing Princess Terra.... incoming reply, displaying."
A small spinning insignia appeared, matching that found on the mecha unit. It showed a horn with a dagger drawn through it. A message played:
"Hi, this is Princess Terra, I'm away from the console right now, please leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible! Thanks!"
Cussing loudly, Zard was about to send his findings along, when another large blast hit the mecha, right on the attena, incinerating it.
"Damn! Computer, was it Lum again? Why didn't we detect her???"
"Target profile has unknown compounds in skin encoding, difficult to detect. Retuning sensors for better detection..."
Suddenly a blip appeared on Zard's hud. He spun the mecha around, bringing it face-to-face with Lum.
"What were you doing with Ten and Kintaro??" she screamed.
Zard put on a sly grin and switched on the external speakers.
"Ah, so that was their names? They were foolish enough to interfere with my mission... you should watch over them more."
"I'm not a mother! They are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves!"
Zard glanced at the whimpering Ten and laughed.
"Obviously."
Lum growled and cursed.
"Alright that's it! I'm getting rid of you so you won't hurt anybody else!"
"I wouldn't think so. I've been sent here on recon, but I can assure you that I am perfectly capable of taking you out myself. Our mission is to use whatever means necessary to eliminate you so her majesty Terra can take the throne of the Oni, as everyone knows, she is the only proper authority!"
Lum gasped. She had heard rumors of a double of her, running some renegade group trying to take over the throne.. but they were just rumors, and daddy was always ready to take care of them..
"But enough talk. The quicker I silence you, the quicker I can get promoted from this horrible recon job into something more exciting."
A large cannon emerged from a small panel above the mecha's right hand, a six barreled gun. It began to slowly spin. On it's left hand, another smaller weapon appeared, a plasma rifle, and began to emit a small bulge. Ten screamed.
"Ten, get out of here! Go find darling and get help! I'll try to hold him off!"
"He's big..."
"Go now Ten!!"
Ten nodded and flew off. Lum yelled and emitted a lightning bolt, which the mecha quickly dodged.
Inside of the mecha's head, 2 targetting crosshairs converged on Lum and turned green.
"Hahah! I've got you now!"
The pulse rifle charged up, and emited a quick precise beam. The beam went right through Lum's stomach, leaving a small hole and a bit of blood that drained out.
Lum gasped, clutching her stomach. She bowled over in pain and plunged into the ocean, then emerged a moment later, barely floating and gasping for air.
"Hmm, not like me to get off without a fair fight... but then again, I never was much of a sociallist. I was told that if I managed to take you down, I would stop and let you slowly bleed to death if possible. At least I'm good at following orders. Farewell Lum. Princess Terra thanks you for allowing her to enter the throne so easily."
Laughing, the mecha flew off, leaving Lum floating over the ocean, a small stream of redness around her area. She uttered one last word, "darling", before drifting off into temporary unconsiousnous.

Woa that's a long one, I'm thinking I should quit now and let someone else get a word in.. *grin*
Oh note that I'm not really planning on killing Lum, I had plans for another "emergency homing beacon" or something that would have her father come in and kick some ass, but I'm gonna stop now and leave it to you guys. Comments welcome, if you have any >)

Ataru ran down the hallway having gotten loose with a guinea pig digging it's teeth into his leg. several guards were tailing him. Ataru was backed against a wall. Mendo stepped foreward and said "Well Ataru theres nowhere left to run will come peacefuly?" None of them noticed a funny whisling noise like a bomb shell falling. Suddenly a capsule crashed through the roof landing on the guards. Ataru said "Why does this always happen to me? Oh well it got rid the guards I'm outta here!" he started to run when the capsule opened and this guy who looked about 20 stepped out. Mendo barely escaped from being smooshed got up and said "Just who do you think you are dropping in like this?" Mendo started to draw his sword. Tyler said "I'm Justy Ueki Tyler age 20. Hmmm thats funny I thought everyone knew who I was on earth after the Raalgon war." Mendo drew his sword and said "What the hells a Raalgon?" Tyler said "You kind of remind me of that Admiral Mufune always waving those swords around. Are you related?" Mendo took a swipe at him but Tyler bent over to pick up a 50 yen peice and Mendo missed hitting his sword against the capsule breaking it. Ataru was starting to feel kinda funny around this guy. Ataru aproatched him. When they got within ten feet of each other Ataru slid acroos the floor and got stuck to Tylers back. Tyler said "Hey no offense but I'm not that kind of guy." Ataru squirmed around but couldnt seperate. They were stuck together like magnets. Suddenly Cherrie pops up. He looks at Tylers and points at his face shouting "Auugh! Your face it's so beutiful!" Tyler said "I already told you I'm not that kind of guy!" Cherry said "No what I meant to say is your blessed with incredibly good luck!" Ataru tried to get loose so he could beat up cherry.
Ten had spotted the Capsule falling into Mendos mansion and came over. Ten saw Ataru on Tyler Ten said "I didnt think even you could sink so low! Hitting on other men when Lum-chans in trouble!" Ataru shouted "You idiot I cant help this I'm stuck!" Ten flew over and pulled on Ataru but he wouldnt budge. Cherry said "Hmmm it would seem that opposite equal forces of good and bad luck are attracting. Your like magnets. I'm hungrey wheres the fridge". Ataru struggles more to try to hit Cherry.

Back on the lake, a massive amount of red is showing in the water around Lum. A small breeze passes by, and a few moments later, her horns begin to glow a deep dark red colour. A quick lightning bolt shoots into the sky, then silence.
Onboard Mr. Invader's ship (ed. note: I looked and couldn't find any actual name for Mr. Invader's ship, so I'll make one up, correct me if there is actually a name), the "Body smasher", one of the officers on the bridge looked up.
"Sir, we're showing a distress beacon from Earth.. coordinates x369-184, Lamda Zero. Priority alert coding. I'm checking the source..."
Mr. Invader looked over the officer's shoulder while he worked at the console.
"Got it! Confirmed, prority alert.. it's Lum sir! This distress beacon was only installed to be used if critical condition was reached.. she may be near death!"
Invader growled.
"Charge the sub-space drive, prepare for a jump near her immediate location!"
"Yes sir! All hands, commence charging sequence for sub-space drive! J, K, and L blocks, commence injection of photons..." Activity picked up all over the ship as alarms went off and the crew got busy. After a few moments, a large rip appeared in the space-time continuum, consuming the vessel.
Back on Earth, above the ocean, Ataru, who had "borrowed" a helicopter from Mendo, and Tyler, who was still stuck to Ataru, screaming, were following Ten across the ocean. Suddenly, the winds picked up and the helicopter began to swirl around in circles. Suddenly a massive black hole appeared, and an EXTREMELY large ship suddenly came out. Ataru and Tyler screamed, right before flying the helicopter into the vessel, and plunging into the water below. Ten turned around and cheered. "Horray! Mr. Invader is here! Hey.. where did Ataru go? Aw, that looser probably chickened out.. wait till Lum hears!"
A small hatch opened, and a small beam stabbed out, surrounding Lum. She was then drawn into the ship. Ten quickly flew in before the hatch closed again. On-board, medical personel put her into a cryogenic pod and began working.
From a small distance away, Mendo and about 30 other helicopters were watching the proceedings through a sniper scope. Mendo picked up his radio.
"All units, this is squad leader. We CANNOT allow Ataru to get away, finding the cure is our number one priority! Spread out in delta formation and follow my lead! We'll take that cruiser down!"
The helicopters spun up and began moving towards the cruiser.
Back in the forest, Zard was watching as the nanite droids slowly reconstructed the destroyed antenna, using waste from the main reactor of his armour as materials. Once they finished, he jumped into his armour and powered up the device. Once again he attempted to contact his mothership, but before he could, his computer sent him a notice.
"NOTICE: Massive sub-space signature detected! Long range sensors indicating massive Oni warship has emerged over ocean area. Sensors also showing 20-30 terran helicopters closing with cruiser. Coordinates at x369-184."
Zard cursed. "DAMMIT! That's probably her father.. I forgot to jam the homing device! Patch me up to the Spartacus ASAP, priority one transmission!"
"Transmission sending.. uplink established. Hailing princess Terra.."
On the Spartacus, Terra rushed to the blinking console and stabbed the "Accept" button. "This had better be good.." she muttered to herself. "If that idiot Tyler gets away.."
She quickly lit up when Zard's face appeared. "Zard, finally. What have you to report?"
"A lot your highness. I have located and sucessfully neutralized Lum, but I forgot-er, I mean, somehow her automated beacon managed to break through my jamming and send a distress signal out, and her father's ship is currently on the planet recovering the body."
"You mean Invader is on the planet? Right now?"
"Yes princess. And though I am, as always, willing to die for your future, I must point out that a solo attack on my part would prove pointless at this time.."
"I'm aware of that. I'm moving up the schedule. In 2 hours I will deploy heavy forces to your location. Your job is to scout out potential weak points along the vessel's hull from long range, then lead the attack unit to the vessel. Finally, you will join the main attack force in breaking into the vessel and taking Invader and Lum, and anybody else closely involved with them hostage. The mothership will arrive in 2 days, untill then you will hold the hostages in a safe area. Is that understood?"
"Yes your highness. Even now I am setting up the sensors for a long range scan."
"Excellent, I was told you were the best for this mission, and I'm pleased to hear that advice was true. Carry on."
"For your future, highness."
The Shaithan rebellion insignia flashed (ed. note: The horn with a knife through it, remember?) and the transmission closed. Suddenly her personal comm unit beeped.
"Terra here."
"Highness, we just completed lockdown of the escape pods, but-"
"But WHAT soldier?"
"One of the units is.. missing.."
"DAMN! Wait, he's probably on Earth right now... I can get 3 birds with one stone!"
Emitting an evil laugh, she ordered the soldier to carry on with his duties, and switched off the unit.
Back on Earth, Zard was analyzing sensor data from the Body Smasher, marking out potential weak spots and holes within the defensive turret's range of fire. "Just a few more days my dear, and I shall finally eliminate the last obstacle from the princess' path..then maybe I can settle down with someone.."
A small crack was heard behind Zard, and he spun around, plasma rifle at the ready. Shinobu gasped and froze.
"There's something about that face..."
Suddenly Zard had a flashback from a long time ago. It was very sketchy, but he remembered a lot of exploding, and a girl getting away on an escape pod with him, while a woman cried... his ex-wife? The woman suddenly got caught in one of the explosions, and another one occured, seperating Zard from the girl..
"Good god, could it be her?"
He lowered the plasma rifle and signalled her to come closer. He then opened up the mecha with a hiss and jumped out.
Shinobu stared a moment, dumbfounded.
"Who.. are.. you?"
Zard suddenly remembered that the girl would probably have no memory of her past. He decided he would take it one step at a time.
"My name is Zard.. you scared me back there."
"I didn't mean to spy, I was just curious.."
"No no, it's alright. Come closer, let me have a look at you."
Reluctantly, Shinobu stepped closer. Zard ran his hand through her hair. Shinobu stepped back a moment and looked up.
"I almost feel as if I know you.."
"Maybe you do. Come, I have a bit of work ahead of me, maybe you would like to help?"
Glancing over a printed out schematic, she instantly recognized the ship.
"Say, isn't that Lum's dad ship or something?"
"That it is, and I'm working on trying to take it down.."
Shinobu laughed.
"Of course I'll help! Anything to make Lum go away for awhile!"
Together, they began working out additional weak points in the hull. Dusk fell slowly over the trees...
Near the Body Smasher, a few last explosions were seen, and a very injured Mendo limped away in the last helicopter. "Damn, who would have thought that thing could have so many guns? You'd think they built it with my personal injury in mind or something.."
As night fell, the animals of the dark looked on in fear, for they expected something horrible to come, and soon...

Time: 7:30 PM
Location: Tomobiki - Mendou's Mansion
Things were abuzz in the Mendou Control Center as various guards and aides dealt with the new situation. Shutaro was calling for reinforcements, a change of clothes, and more funding from his parents. Ryouko was watching from her bedroom, making arrangements for several granades to be secreted in her brother's pants. She also had her Kuroku's tapping all phone lines, they provided her with a bedside switchboard and a headset to listen in on and make phony calls.
A phone rang in the office of Mendou's Captain of Guards office, a red phone marked "Urgent." The frazzled Captain cursed and punched up the speaker phone.
"Yes, who is this?!?"
"Captain of the Mendou Conglamorate Guards?"
The Captain nodded, "Yes, who is this?"
The voice at the other end sighed, "Ambassador Hudson at the US Embassy. President Reagan got me out of dinner saying the Pentagon got him out of bed saying there was unusual UFO activity in the Tomobiki area, again. There was also in the last ten minutes one hell of a ruckus just off your coast. Our 'sources' say Invader is back and...having a battle with someone. I immediately called your government, they said this was a Mendou matter and as long as it didn't effect anything else and you guys cleaned up after yourselfs then they don't care."
The Captain nodded, "Ambassador, we are very busy here, so why don't I have..."
Hudson sighed over the line, "I'm not finished sir, normally I don't care when things like this happen, but I got my BMW smashed when your 'Young Master' had his little 'proxy-war' with the Mizunokogii (sp?), last month...I was compensated, yes. But I'm rambling. Captain, there is a UFO of UNKNOWN origin in geo-sychronist-whatever orbit above your country, the United States government is worried that your 'battle' could easily drift over to Hawaii or the west coast of my country. If you need any help dealing with this I suggest you tell me now so I can the President he can point a missile or two at the UFO, just in case."
The Captain gulped, "I'll pass along your concern to the young master-"
Hudson shouted, his voice tinny over the phone, "No! I want this to be reported directly to his mother or father, I don't think your young master can 'handle it,' so to speak."
"Ambassador, the Madame and Mister are in Australia on vacation."
Hudson could be heard slamming his fist on a desk, "Damn!" Hudson starting cursing over and over.
In her room Ryouko giggled and cut the Captain off, "Hudson-sama?"
"...and this is?"
"Ryouko Mendou, we met three months ago at a celebration in your honor for your reappointment."
"Oh, ah yes," Hudson could practically be heard blushing over the phone.
Ryouko grinned, "I have been listening and am prepared to give you permission to assist the Mendou family in dealing with this crisis...could we possibly meet to discuss the particulars?"
"Yes, Mendou-san. Could this be in the next thirty minutes? The President wants confirmation by then."
Ryouko signaled a Kuroku, "I shall my guard escort you in ten minutes. Until then, Hudson-sama."
"Until then," Hudson hung up.

Shinobu looked up as a small beeping sound was heard. Zard walked over to his mecha and took a quick glance inside, and noticed the timer had counted down, and showed 12:00 PM.
"Aha, it looks like they'll be arriving soon.. you'd better leave for now, the fighting will be rather intense."
"Leave, already? We're barely getting started! I want revenge!"
Zard poked his head out from the mecha.
"Heh, well it will be a tad difficult considering you lack a vehicle.."
"Then I'll use one of theirs!"
Shinobu pointed to a mass of about 20 lights in the sky, slowly coming down.
"Hah! I'd doubt they'd let you..."
Shinobu frowned. Zard glanced at her again and thought for a moment. "That look is so familiar.. I was never able to resist..."
"Hmm, then again, your skills are rather good, at least from the short time you had in the simulator an hour ago. You do show promise... and we are always on the lookout for new members. Very well. But I suggest you stand back, it would be rather unpleasant for you to get squished.."
Shinobu looked up and gasped when she noticed they were about to land right on top of her, then dashed behind Zard's mecha. Zard closed up the front of the unit and powered up as 20 heavily armed mecha units all landed on blaring thrusters, each one with the Shaithan insignia. Zard's radio beeped.
"This is Alpha one of the 242nd Suicide Kings, reporting! We were told you would assist us in taking down Invader's cruiser?"
"Correct. However, there are some sensitive documents that need watching... and I have a new pilot whom I would like to train. Can you have one of your men personally watch over these?" Zard used the mecha's hand to point over to the schematics laying on a tree stump."
"Of course. Where is this pilot?"
Shinobu stepped into the open.
"This.. kid? You've gotta be kidding.."
"No joke, she shows great skill. She's already familiar with the systems, I took her through a few simulations while waiting for your arrival."
"Well ok, but it's on your head if she gets shot down.. Epsilon 2, you're the lucky guy."
A sigh was heard over the comm system, then one of the armoured mecha units stepped forward. With a hiss, the front panels opened up and a helmeted figure jumped out. Grabbed a laser rifle from beside the seat, he walked over to the schematics and did maintenance on his rifle. Shinobu walked over and jumped into the mecha.
"It's a bit large, but I should manage... I hope. Now lets see... which button was that again?"
Before anybody else could say a word, she stabbed a red button on the control panel hanging above the cockpit. The mecha suddenly shot up into the air on blue thrusters, going at an insane speed, with the front panels still open.
"Uh, what was that about the simu-"
"Oh shut up. Shinobu, can you hear me? Hit that red button again, then the GREEN one on the console! Then take control and get back down here before you fly yourself into space!"
The soldier watched from the schematics with great interest, silently chuckling to himself. After a few minutes, the renegade mecha finally came back down to the ground, with a rather shaken Shinobu inside.
"Are you ok? You still sure you want to come along?" Zard sounded genuinely concerned.
"Of course I do! Lets go already!"
"Haste makes waste my dear.. let us prepare first. Zard to squad, I'm now transmitting the targetting info with the weaknesses pointed out. I suggest you not enter the turret's direct line of fire, try to stay in the blind spots, as they pack a rather nasty punch. We'll enter through here..." Punching a few buttons, a red blip appeared on the schematic of the Body Smasher, at the aft docking port. "We'll work our way through the defenses to the bridge. Once there, we'll seize control of the vessel and take everybody possible prisoner. Our main targets are Lum and Invader, and any of their direct friends, but take anybody else who surrenders as well, the more the better. I'd assume the Princess deployed shock-resistant units?"
3 skinny mecha units, coated in white armour, stepped forward. "Gamma wing here sir, don't worry, we'll handle her."
"Excellent. Very well, everyone ready? Then lets move!"
The squadron lifted off into the air, one after the other, in waves of 3, flying towards the ocean.
Meanwhile, on the Body Smasher, Invader looked over the bridge at his officers.
"How long untill our sub-space system is charged for the jump to homeworld?"
"About 3 hours sir. And... oh god! I'm showing a massive wave of rebel units closing in sir! Hard to show, but it's at least 15 units!"
"What? Engage conventional drive, fly us anywhere, just out of here!"
A weak voice sounded behind him.
"We're not leaving darling behind, are we?"
Invader turned around to see a tired Lum, bracing herself in a doorway.
"Lum, you should be sleeping, you're still weak."
"I'm fine. I just want to find darling again!"
"Aw leave that looser behind, let him die!"
"Ten, how could you say such a thing? We're not leaving without him, and that's that!"
One of the officers piped up. "Sir, I think I've got a lock on Ataru.. sensors show him right below our ship, he's underwater.. and he's been that way for quite some time as it appears!"
Invader grumbled. "Deploy the tractor beam, lets get him on board, then get us out of here!"
A few minutes later, Ataru and Tyler were brought on board, soaking wet. Ataru was gasping for air while Tyler was unconsious. 5 medical personel were trying to pull the 2 apart when Lum entered the bay and cheered.
"Darling your safe!"
"Lum! You're alive!"
When the medics finally managed to seperate the 2 long enough to put Tyler into a cryogenic pod, Ataru and Lum rushed towards each other while 2 of the medics looked on.
"Uh, why is that kid still alive? I heard he was underwater for around 4 hours, maybe more..."
"Beats me, maybe he breathes water or something?"
"He seems fine now... and just who is this guy that was stuck to him?" The medics glanced over at the cryopod. Outside, the ship was slowly moving directly towards Washington, D.C. (unbeknownst to the crew) at a speed of 700 MPH. Pursuing it was a mass of mecha, ready for blood.
Zard watched with an intense look at his prey attempted to flee. One of the squad mates came on the comm.
"This is odd, I would have expected them to do a sub-space jump as soon as they picked us up on sensors, but they're just using their conventional drives. I wonder what's wrong.. either way, I guess I won't need to use my sub-space inhibitor.."
"I guess the atmospheric attributes of this planet totally discharged their system when they jumped. Either that or they jumped straight from the Oni Homeworld, which is such an extreme range that it would totally deplete the drives.. Either way, I think they'll be stuck on conventional for awhile."
"Target will enter firing range in 5 seconds." As the computer reported this, 2 targetting crosshairs slowly began converging on the vessel.
"Alpha wing, it looks like we're ready to go. Hit your burners and remember, stay in the blind spots! Epsilon 2, how are you doing?"
"Doing great, ready to kick some butt!" Shinobu urged her mecha a bit faster.
"Ass."
"Huh?"
"You're working with the big boys now lady. It's ass." Beta 3 laughed.
"Uh, right. Well, lets go!"
Zard moved and cut her off.
"Hang on a moment Shinobu. Let Alpha move in and distract em so the rest of us can break in."
A few moments later, explosions were seen rippling among the Body Smasher's hull. Then the 3 units of Alpha wing converged on a spot just aft of the right-most engine, and stayed there, launching missiles and the occasional plasma burst overtop and under the hull.
"Looks like they've got it. All units, follow my lead while we break into that vessel!"
As the rest of the mecha converged on the cruiser, a land mass was seen ahead, as they got closer to the shores of the U.S. Some fishermen out at sea looked up, then screamed and dove overboard as the massive cruiser passed over them, followed by a mass of mecha.
As they got closer to the docking bay, a beam turret suddenly emerged from an armoured position and fired, hitting Beta 2 in the head. The pilot didn't even have a chance to scream as his mecha plunged into the waters below, taking out 3 fishing boats with it while some very confused civillans swam for their life.
"Alright we took a casualty but we can't slow down. Keep going!" Taking careful aim, Zard unleashed a load of explosive shells towards the turret with his right-hand gattling cannon. The turret exploded, as did the door it was guarding.
"Docking bay breached! Move in and take up defensive positions while we pack the entire squad in! Alpha wing, get ready to break off and join us!"
Static.
"Alpha wing, do you read? Come in Alpha wing! Dammit, they must have gotten hit by something..."
Suddenly 3 additional plasma turrets exposed themselves and opened fire. Beta 3 and 1 screamed as their mecha exploded in flames. 2 massive missile racks opened up on Gamma 1's shoulders, and it unleashed a swarm of missiles, taking out a large chunk of the hull and all the turrets. Zard was the first to enter the docking bay. As he did, he saw 3 familiar faces. Ataru, Lum, and Ten, who screamed at the sight of the large mecha climbing in. Medical personel grabbed the small cryopods and evacuated the area, loosing a couple in the process. Luckily, the one containing Tyler got away unscathed. Lum fired a lightning bolt at Zard, which glanced off his shoulder, and ran through the large gate leading to the docking bay, closing it off from the rest of the ship. With the docking bay now empty, the rest of the Shaithan squadron entered it and took up positions.
On the bridge, Invader growled. "Sir! They've entered the ship, through the docking bay! Casualties are minimal, and we managed to clear out a lot of it before sealing it off."
"How long untill the sub-space drive is charged?"
"Still at least 2 hours, and our engineers are having trouble holding the power grid together, which isn't helping."
"Damn..." Invader sat in his large chair and thought deeply, wondering what method he would use to escape this time...

Kuroku Central Command was small, decored in black, and housed right under Ryouko's bedroom but above the Mendou Central Guard Command, prime location. Warren Hudson was seated at an ornate oak table with his hostess, taking another phone call.
Hudson rubbed his temples as Ryouko poured him another glass of tea. "Mr. President, I suggest we do everything possible to defend our airspace. Ryouko Mendou agrees and wants to provide support... Hmm, mmm, all right." Warren held the receiver over the table. "Mendou-san, President Reagan would like a word with you."
Ryouko smiled, "Thank you," Ryouko began her act, assuring the President that everything would be fine, she hung up. "I can promise your government hundred fighters and ten cruiser supports, they are already in the air, the attack will commence on the UFO fleet in-" Ryouko produced a gold pocket watch from the inside of her kimono, "-five minutes."
"Just remember, we don't want to hit Invader."
Ryouko nodded, "I have made that clear, as you have."
Hudson gulped down his tea, "Who the hell could be doing this and why?"
"Hudson-sama, I believe the answers you seek are with a boy named-"
"Ataru Moroboshi. Yes, I know."

Now trailing plasma from the damage the engines had taken, the Body Smasher had entered Washington D.C. and was drifting closer to the White House, with a swarm of explosions surrounding it while the last of the mecha crammed it's way inside of the ship. Various aircraft had been deployed to take down the vessel, but all the missiles they launched were shot down, and the planes themselves got caught in the crossfire.
Inside of the ship, Zard looked over his squad. A few of them had sparks trailing from various places in their armour, but they seemed to be ok. Zard nodded towards the group marked Delta, who were relatively unscathed.
"Delta wing, you have the cutter packs I would assume? It will be a tad difficult to proceed with our mission with that door in our way." Zard pointed to the massive door cutting off the docking bay from the rest of the ship.
One of the mecha units walked over to the door and yanked out a small blade, which charged up and glowed with energy. "With me around, who needs a locksmith, eh Zard? I'll have ya through in a minute!"
While the mecha was slowly cutting away at the door, Zard looked over the rest of the squad. "Alright people, this is gonna be tight. Soon as that door is down, we'll probably be facing one hell of a defense. See those cargo crates lying around? Take up defensive positions behind em and get ready!" The squad split up and crouched behind the crates, guns ready.
As the mecha unit finished cutting his way through, he returned his blade to the hip of his mecha and stood back a moment. "Everyone ready?" Zard nodded. "Alright, here we go!"
The mecha delivered a swift kick to the door, sending it flying from it's bracings. It then dove to the left behind cover, as the rest of the squad unloaded all kinds of weaponry into the opening.
Zard glanced at his monitors. "Cease fire! It looks like they didn't deploy any real defenses.. very odd. Keep your eyes open, they might ambush us. Lets move forward."
The squad slowly moved down the corridor, inching their way towards the bridge.
Meanwhile, on the bridge, one of the officers looked up.
"Sir, it looks like you were right. They're moving towards the Engineering section, then they'll head towards the bridge from there."
"Very well. Prepare the auxiliary systems and evacuate Engineering. Prepare the section for emergency detachment!"
"But sir, if we do that, we'll loose our main sub-space system! We'll only be able to make one jump after that with the currently stored energy."
"I'm aware of that, the ship might be in dry-dock for a few months, but it's a risk we've got to take. Prepare the section for detachment immediately!"
Lum, Ataru, and Ten looked on behind him, worried.
Down in the Engineering section, personel gathered their things and scattered as the area de-pressurized and alarms went off. A moment after the last person left, one of the mecha from Delta squad kicked down the door. Zard followed behind him, and then the rest of the squad.
"I'm very concerned, they've barely got us with any kind of defense. If there was any kind of stand, I'd expect they'd make it here..they're probably gathering everyone for a big defense at the bridge.. maybe they predict our actions?" Zard looked around.
"I'm picking up some strange readings coming from this section... it appears they might ambush us here after all. Get ready." Gamma 3 raised his weapon and looked around.
As the last squad member entered the area, the doors suddenly shut and a small hissing was heard. Alarms went off.
"What the hell is going on?" Zard looked around, while Delta squad began pelting the door with laser fire, trying to get it open."
"It's no good sir, they've got some kind of strong bulkhead here, I can't penetrate it!"
Suddenly the whole section shifted, and the entire squad fell over as they lost their balance. Shinobu was the only one that managed to remain upright. Suddenly a conduit broke and swung down, barely missing Shinobu but smacking off the head of the mecha. Shinobu peeked out and growled. One of the mecha units stood back up.
"Sir, my sensors are showing that the rest of the ship is getting further away! It looks like they detached the section!"
"Dammit! Get us out of here now!" Zard began desperately shooting at the wall.
"It's no good sir! Impact in 10 seconds!"
On the bridge, Ataru caught a glance of one of the monitors tied in to the Engineering section, then gasped when he saw Shinobu. "Shinobu! No! Wait!" He screamed and tried to leave the bridge, stopped by Lum. He struggled hard and finally managed to break free, and took off at an insane speed towards the Engineering section, only to watch in horror through a monitor as the section plunged to the ground.. right towards the White House!
In-side of the White House, the president was settling down for lunch with his executives, preparing to discuss the events of the day. Suddenly one of the Executives screamed and pointed out the window. The President turned around, only to see the entire house explode all around him. As he ducked under a table, he felt a large object land on the table, trapping him under it. When the explosions ceased, he glanced around at what was left of his great mansion, looked up, saw an extremely large vessel passing overhead, and passed out.

Terra was on her ship observing the battle below. one of her men said "It apears Mr Invaders ship is holding it's own against our attack what should we do?" Terra had a thoughtful look on her face and said "Use the phaze torpedo". The officer said "B-but thats an experimental weapon it hasnt been tested yet!" She smiled and said "I know but none of Dr Ginkobots inventions have failed me yet. But first lets hail mr Invaders ship."
Suddenly on screen on mr invaders ship was the face of a girl who looked allot like Lum. She said "You have Ten Earth minutes to surrender to me. After that I'll be forced to use my secret weapon on your ship." Lum looked at the screen and looked at her father and said "Is there something I should know?" Her dad said "Gosh it looks like I have some explaining to do."
Inside Terras ship Dr Ginkobot picked up an oval object marked "phaze torpedo" next to a machine with two chambers and a cannon marked "Bad luck cannon". He took the phaze torpedo to the launch area and prepared it to be fired.
Back in Japan Kintaro was watching Robot Hunter Casshan on video. He says "Hmmm if I'm going to make a name for myself I've got to hunt robots!

Ryouko and Hudson unhappily watched as the White House was destroyed and Terra made her appearance.
Hudson gazed out into space for moment, "so that's who we're up against. A Lum Invader-lookalike...God forgive us all. I hope the President and staff are all right."
Ryouko frowned, "Hudson-sama, what are we to do? Our combined forces didn't even slow the enemy down."
"Mendou-san. May I borrow your communications staff for a few minutes?"
Ryouko nodded. Warren began calling various US military agancies and bases, finding out the vice-president was safe and sound. After talking with the vice-president for a minute, they had a plan.
With four minutes remaining for the Body Smasher, Hudson turned to Ryouko, "Can your Kuroku hail every UFO in orbit and on the ground simultaneously?"
"Yes," she motioned her Kuroku communications chief to obey, "what do you plan to do?"
Hudson winked at the girl, "You'll see. Patch me through."
The Kuroku nodded and a small beep was heard.
"Miss Terra, this is Ambassador Warren Hudson, representing United States interests in Japan. You have five minutes to surrender to Invader and disarm or YOU be destroyed. At this very moment, ten fusion warheads are being targeted at your ship. No further communications will be responded to unless it is your surrender."
Hudson gave a slashing motion across his throat. The channel closed.
"Ryouko!" Shutaro shouted as he entered the room.
"Big Brother!" Ryouko gasped, "allow me to-"
Hudson glared at Shutaro, "Warren Hudson. Forgive me if I don't bow to an incompetent fool like yourself. Can't your defense forces take care of one damned battle mech before it calls its friends?!?"
Mendou began drawing his katana as Ryouko backed off, "as for my honor I shall-"
"Cut me in two! Hoho!" Hudson picked up his unfinished rum and coke and flung it at Mendou's face before taking his pistol out of its holster under his jacket.
But something strange started to happen, Hudson (who didn't know about Shutaro's Ranma problem) looked on in stunned disbelief as Shutaro changed into a red haired girl.
"D-D-Damn Mendou, I knew your family was prone to weirdness, one only has to meet your mother and father once to know that, but I never knew this!"

Onboard the Spartacus, Terra glared at the screen, which simply read "Transmission terminated."
"Those fools think they can simply order me around? HAH!" She stabbed a button on her console.
"This is Princess Terra to all hands. It appears that this miserable planet may be preparing for war upon us! They threaten 10 fusion warheads should we not surrender to Invader. Do they think we would do a 3-year campaign simply to surrender the second some oversized pompus in a suit threatened us? I want all squadrons deployed and on alert. Bring all weapon platforms online, and call in the rest of the fleet. We may need a bit of backup, but chances are those warheads shouldn't be a problem!"
A moment later, 200 armoured mecha deployed from the Spartacus, along with various troop transports and RPCs (remote plasma cannons). They took up a defensive formation around the mothership a distance away from it, preparing for everything. Meanwhile, massive warpholes opened as 4 more vessels, which were almost the same size as the Spartacus, emerged from subspace and deployed forces of their own. The final fleet equaled around 700 heavily armed mecha, 80 RPCs, and 200 troop transports.
Terra attempted to raise Zard. "Zard, come in damn you! What's happening?" Unable to raise a connection, she simply cursed. "Damn fools. Well if they want to be caught in the middle of the fight, it's their problem!'
Back in the flaming wreckage of the whitehouse, one of the mecha, blackened and crippled, tried to raise. One of the arms simply popped off. A cussing sound was heard from inside, then the entire mecha seperated at Zard's command. Grabbing a personal rifle and what was left of the charge packs, he looked around, and saw Shinobu laying on the ground, unconsious. He rushed to her side.
"Damn! This war is going to be the end of us all... Shinobu, speak to me!" He shook her, and got no response. He growled.
"That's it, I'm sick of fighting. I'm going to settlle down on this planet and maybe make sone sense of my life. But first...if I'm right, Terra will probably be deploying more forces. This is my chance. I'll stop her and end this war. Take care Shinobu." Leaving the body behind, he waded through the mass of curious onlookers, shoving aside the press, and walked onto the street. As a car approached, a very expensive hot rod, Zard held up his rifle. When the vehicle stopped inches from him, he hopped in, shoved the driver out, and drove back to Tomobiki.
Onboard the Body Smasher, one of the officers glanced up. "Sir, we've charged sufficiently for subspace and the auxillary systems are holding up, although the power grid seems to be having some trouble stablizing. Ready to engage on your mark."
"Very well. Take us home."
A large and very unstable portal opened in front of the ship, which barely managed to engulf it. After it vanished into thin air, the people below tried to put into words what happened, and the press went nuts.
Back on the Spartacus, Terra watched as the countdown timer slowly went down to zero. At 10 seconds, she opened a channel back to Earth.
"This is Princess Terra, leader of the Shaithan fleet. On behalf of my comrades, I hereby formally...." She paused for dramatic effect. "...ask you to take your threats and shove them up your ass! Terra out!" Chuckling, she signalled the rest of her massive fleet to prepare to intercept incoming warheads. "Have all anti-bomb teams ready, and the remote guided EMP warheads loaded and ready for firing immediately. We'll take down those warheads before they can even get within visual range of this vessel!"
Over the Oni Homeworld, a large vortex appeared and spat out a ship, then abruptly closed. Inside, one of the techs came over the comm line, with a panicked expression. "Sir! We've managed to make the jump, but the whole damn power grid is overloading! It's swiss cheese!" Behind him was a massive green board, which was slowly melting to the ground, while sparks flew everywhere and smoke slowly crept forward. "I've got to take the main systems offline, or we'll blow the whole ship to pieces!" One of the officers on the bridge responded. "Sir we have cleared the portal, but we haven't stopped our inertia yet! If we cut power, we'll plunge right down into the planet!"
"It's better than exploding isn't it? Where will we set down?"
"Well I've got good news and bad news on that front. The good news is, we'll land in the ocean, so no worry of breaking up. The bad news is, we've got so many punctures in the vessel that I'm amazed our air supply hasn't dried up, and with so many decks sealed off, the majority of the ship will be inacessable for a long time. We'd have to get used to living under the water untill the repair crews from the homeworld can bring us out."
"Fine. Signal them our coordinates then cut power!"
A few moments later the lights went out one by one. Red lights popped on as the emergency batteries kicked in, and most of the monitors went blank. On the main screen, the planet loomed closer. Lum, Ten, and Ataru, who had remained quiet for most of the trip, simply embraced each other in fear. "It's going to be quite a splashdown..." Invader muttered to himself.

Meanwhile the phaze torpedo was launched toward earth. It exploded in the atmospere and sent a strange shockwave out. The fighters systems all shut down when the shockwave touched them and they sort of floated about no longer being affected by gravity and getting pulled toward what looked like a rip in the sky. The phaze torpedo had punched a hole in space! Where it led to was anyones guess.
Ataru on board mr invaders ship said "Why does this always happen to me?" Ataru looked out the window and something that looked like a weird giant barnicle attach to the window. Ataru said "Hey Lum whats that thing on the window?" Ten floated over and said "You idiot dont you know anything about this planet?" Ten pulled something out of his dyper that looked sorta like a calculator. He pressed it against the window where the barnecle creature was and punched in a few keys.Ten got a funny look on his face and said "Umm translated to earth language it's called a mineral leech. They ingest metal, rock and other types of minerals in their larval form until they metamorph into their adult stage!" Lum said "Ten Chan your so smart!" Ataru looked out on the hull to see a whole lot of them attaching tot he ships hull. Ataru said "I think those things are eating the ship." Everyone looked out the window to see the tiger strips painted on the hull of the ship were gone and it was covered in grey creatures.

Hudson, Ryouko, and fem Shutaro glared at the blank viewscreen where Terra had just told Hudson where to shove it.
Hudson turned to a Kuroko, "Transmit signal Phi-Gamma-Charlie at my mark. Open a channel to Princess Terra."
"Princess Terra, I didn't waste my childhood toiling on a corrupt freak's farm during The Depression and then storm the shores of Normandy just to have some hot green-haired chick mess around with my planet and country. Channel out."
Hudson smiled to the Mendou children, "watch and learn," he nodded to the waiting Kuroko. The Kuroko inputed the command and transmitted it to the waiting Oni-cloaked US communications satellite. The signal was quickly bounced to several locations on Earth, space, and the Moon. A signal came back to Kuroko Central: "Cat."
Hudson gave the Kuroko the proper response, the signal to increase warheads from ten to three hundred: "Jay."
On the Moon several bases located inside craters utilizing Oni cloaking and transwarp technology, launched one hundred cloaked fusion warheads that made a short warp jump which brought them very near to the Spartacus...
On Earth the same Oni-Earth technology combination was used to launch and warp one hundred more cloaked fusion warheads from bases in the North and South Poles and opposite sides of the world to the space surrounding the Spartacus.
And with further thanks to the 1982 United States-Oni military exchange agreement negotiated by Ambassador Warren Hudson (without which none of this would be possible) several battle cruisers decloaked some distance away from the Spartacus and launch/warped ANOTHER one hundred claoked fusion warheads at Terra's fleet. When all were in place, completely surrounding the enemy fleet on all sides in space, they all at once decloaked.
Back in Tomobiki, Hudson grinned, "If only old man Cherry could see me now-"
Shutar glared, "Don't say that!!!"
Too late! Cherry poped out of nowhere with Sakura with him! Hudson smiled even more. "Great to have you two along for the ride! Sit back and watch," Warren turned to his favorite Kuroko, "Hail 'Princess Terra.'"
A beep was heard and Terra's stunned face filled the screen. "Welly-welly-well, Princess. Invader has gotten away and I'm ready to blow you to the afterlife. And as luck would have it I have a monk and a priestess here to give you last rites! Now...I really think you should consider offering me your unconditional surrender. You have thirty seconds to consider."
Hudson tapped the Kuroko on the shoulder and the transmission was cut.

The Mendou's and Ambassador Hudson watched as a rip in the fabric of spacetime opened near the Spartacus. Some of the more unfortunate fighters were being drawn into it. But most of Terra's fleet was left intact for the time being. The three hundred warheads were still in place and ready.
"I hope that distracts her some..." muttered Shutaro.

One of the officers on the bridge of the Spartacus, a young man with a thick english accent, turned around. "Princess, it's confirmed, they've got too many warheads surrounding us, the bomb crews will never hold them off in time!"
Terra rubbed her head wildly, then punched the console in anger, her fangs showing. "Damn fools! They think they can stop me? Grrrrrrrr!" She stabbed the comm button. "Spartacus to all units! It appears that we've worn out our welcome! Prepare a retre-" A small thud was felt on the ship. "What the hell was that?"
"We've been hit by an SSIM, subspace inhibitor missile! We can't pull back!" Terra cussed loudly. "I'm not ready to surrender yet! Dammit!!" She stabbed the intercom again after noticing each of the other cruisers were also hit with an SSIM. "Do something dammit! Don't just sit there with your jaws on the floor, do something!!"
One of the cruisers began moving towards Earth, charging it's weapons, when it was suddenly bombarded by 60 warheads. It didn't even explode, it simply seemed to vanish into thin air amongst the impacts. Another one turned around, and took 3 warheads in the rear, disabling it. It then took 200 warheads right to the bridge, causing the rest of the ship to tumble out of control towards Earth, untill a few more warheads chased it down and destroyed it.
One of the other ships switched off it's weapons. "This is Captain Hayes of the "Under New Ownership. On behalf of this damn stupid rebellion, I surrender my crew to your cause. Terra stabbed the radio "Hayes, just what in HELL are you doing?"
"Saving the life of my crew. Can't you see it you blind fool? We're out numbered, out gunned, and there's no escape. You're finished this time Terra, and I have no intention of going down with you. I have a fine crew and I'm not going to give them a death sentence!"
"You traitor!" Terra stepped back from the console and leaned against the wall, thinking and growling to herself. After a moment, she withdrew a large blade from her back, and patted a 357 Desert Eagle mounted on her thigh that she had "borrowed" from someone awhile back.
"Alright. If I can't get em from up here, I'll have to get em where it hurts, up close!"
She brought up the comm window and opened a channel to Earth.
Down on Earth, Hudson glanced over at the screen and saw a horrible sight, a woman with messed up green hair, fangs showen, and snarling. She stood back a moment from the console and tried to regain her composure.
"On behalf of the Shaithan rebellion, I hereby formally surrender. I will be arriving by transport to your area within the hour. Terra out."
Terra leaned back against a nearby bulkhead, tears filling her eyes. "3 years, so many lives, only to end here.. what a pity. But at least I'll take some of them down..." She examined the sword in front of her, then hit a small button on it. With a flash, the sword vanished, but she could still feel it in her hands. She returned it to her back, and checked her boots. As would be expected she withdrew all sorts of material from there, a few various knives, a small personal laser cutter, and a love letter from her long-deceased boyfriend. "Carl, I'm going to get that bastard back for that execution. Invader will die, even if I take my own life in the process."
Returning the gear a small panel in her boots and covering up her holster where the Desert Eagle was located, she stabbed the comm unit "This is Princess Terra to all units. As of.." she checked the timer. "..fifteen hundred hours, Eastern Earth Time, I have hereby declared a surrender. However, we are not to go without a fight. All units, you will immediately go down to the planet and fake a surrender. Once their guard is down, let them have it with everything you have! The Shaithan rebellion will not die without a fight! Terra out!"
She muttered to herself and walked over to her personal transport unit. Getting inside, she undocked and began moving towards Earth, with 3 years of rage on her shoulders.
Back on Earth, Zard had finally arrived back in Tomobiki, with at least 20 police officers who had been chasing him non-stop from the U.S. border for grand theft auto and stealing. He brought the car to a screeching halt, jumped out, and pushed a small switch on his boots, sending him leaping upwards on top of a building, where he hid for a moment while the cops searched around. He looked over to the Mendo mansion, and above to the sky, where he saw a few various explosions, then the flare of hundreds of mecha descending to the Earth. "This is it... I guess she's started the war now. I'd better find a way up to the ship." Looking up towards the sky, he suddenly noticed a tiger-striped UFO, unattended, floating a ways above Ataru's house. "Hmm, it's not exactly elegant, but I suppose it'll have to do." Flipping the same button on his boots, the "Charged" light suddenly went red, and he sprung up at a rapid pace towards the UFO. Happily finding the main door unlocked, he entered, took control of the ship, and shot up into the sky.
Terra, who was just entering the atmosphere, suddenly noticed a small vessel shoot up past her, barely missing her ship. "Godamn hog, watch where you're going!"
Zard quickly docked to the vessel, and moved over to the docking port, rifle at the ready. He took a breath, and stabbed the green button. The gate opened. He rushed onto the bridge, only to find it empty.
"Where the hell did everyone go?" He wondered. He began wandering the ship, looking for any sign of life. "Maybe this might be related to the thousands of missiles surrounding this vessel.. could she have surrendered? Hmm, knowing her, she won't get off without a fight.. I'd better go back and warn the people to kill her quick before she can cause a lot of damage." Looking through the communications log on the bridge, he found the source of the transmissions. Uploading the coordinates to Lum's UFO, he then ran back on board, undocked, and began moving towards the planet.
Meanwhile, over the Oni homeworld, the Body Smasher was beginning to enter the atmosphere. As it did, some of the leech-like objects began to burn off.
Invader glanced over at the officer. "Well, where did they come from? I've never seen them around before."
"I think they might have always been around, but in a much smaller level. The odd emissions from our damaged power grid must have mutated them somehow, and they're now attempting to feed from us instead of the small debris and asteroids they used to go to. But it looks like they're burning up, they shouldn't be a problem."
"Good. Now I guess we just sit and wait..." Invader leaned back in his chair and sighed. On the main screen, the whiteness of the atmopshere suddenly broke into a splendor of clouds, and shortly after that, the ocean. "Impact in 10 seconds sir!"
Invader nodded over to the 3-some. "You people had better brace yourself, this is going to be a bit rough.." Lum and Ataru ran over to a couple of nearby chairs and strapped themselves in.
"Impact in 5.. 4... 3... 2... 1.... AUGH!" With a massive shudder, the vessel impacted into the ocean, sending most of the crew sprawling from their chairs. One of the officers recovered and glanced at his single remaining monitor. "Impact confirmed sir! We opened a few extra holes in the ship, but it shouldn't be a problem..."
Ataru suddenly became aware of the fact that water was streaming onto his head from above. He stood up, grabbed Ten who gasped in surprised, and shoved him rear first into the small breach, plugging the hole. Lum gave Ataru a death glare, while he just shrugged. "He's doing it for a good cause isn't he?"
Lum snarled at Ataru. "Darling!!!" Outside of the ship, as a few fish swam by the sinking vessel, lightning flashes were seen coming from the bridge.
Down in the medical section, which was pretty much cut off from the rest of the ship, Tyler finally awoke, glanced around, and inquired what happened. When one of the medical personel filled him in, he simply gasped and fainted again.

Hudson, formally asking permission for temporary command of the Mendou Defense Forces, began making preparations for Terra's arrival. Warren decided that the grounds of Tomobiki High School would be the best for the formal surrender to take place. Shutaro agreed, and put his extension knowledge to use on the best places to put troops on the campus.
Meanwhile, in all this confusion a group of five and a large bear was hanging out on the Tomobiki High School clock tower. Kintaro had joined Lum's Guards hanging out on the tower and promptly tried to rob them, however finding out that they had already blown their money on beefbowl. Then the Mendou forces started to move in and all five decided to go down and have a look.
Hudson and Mendou jumped out of a limo and began giving orders as troops and scared students ran around. Ryouko had wanted to join them, but Warren told her to stay put. Which surprised Shutaro for a second before the gravity of the present situation once again took its place in his mind.
Hudson meanwhile was mulling over the fact that Terra's sudden surrender was bothering him, a lot. He honestly had expected he would've had to destroy her and her fleet before that Captain Hayes shamed Terra into surrender. He didn't trust Terra, not one damn bit.
Warren sighed and took a swig of liquor from a flask he had in his pocket, he offered some to Mendou, who just waved it off. Which was probably the right thing to do, an old man giving booze to a seventeen year old wasn't likely to make him popular back home, nor was developing a fondness for a rather pensive, melancholic, and genuinely mysterious fifteen year old girl.
Hudson soon turned to face Onsen-Mark, The Principal, and Kotatsu-Neko aka Spiritual Force #318 in the International Listing of Supernatural Phenomenons.
Shutaro and Hudson, taking turns each, explained the situation to the Tomobiki High staff, they complied and immediately ordered all students off campus. Lum's Guards and Kintaro stayed behind and approched Mendou and Hudson as the mechas began to land.
Megane spoke first, "Mendou! Where the hell is Lum-san?!?"
Shutaro looked the group of four over as he noticed Kintaro on his bear sneaking up behind Hudson, Kintaro drew his axe out and...
"This is life! Give me your money!"
Hudson spun around, "Kintaro, I presume?" He looked over at the Stormtroopers. "Shutaro, I know these friends of yours can use weapons and fight, have your officers arm them," to Kintaro, "how would you and your bear like a job son?"
"Well..."
"You'll make more money than armed robbery."
"Sure!"
Mendou turned to Warren, "Hudson-san, what do you anticipate?"
"I think Terra's gonna make a suicide run."

At the transport moved through the clouds, Terra checked over her Desert Eagle. Removing a clip from the left side of her bikini top, under her armpit, she loaded the weapon and replaced it to the holster. As the schoolground came into view, she saw the massive force surrounding the area, preparing for her arrival. "I'm flattered.." she thought to herself. "Such a massive force for just little old me... I wonder how they are going to deal with the various other troops that will be settling down soon all over the city? This will be a most interesting battle..."
Suddenly a small corvette took up station next to the transport. The radio chirped. "This is Captain Hayes, here to give you a personal escort, 'Highness.'"
"Hayes, get your filthy arse out of this!"
"Hah, and miss the chance of seeing our 'great leader' surrender? Not in this lifetime!"
Terra scowled and slammed the console, swearing to bring his head home on a stick when this was over. As she came up on the field, she landed the craft, and took a deep breath.
"Well girl, this is gonna be one hell of a fight..." She drank up the last of her drink, replaced the mug, and walked over to the airlock. She could already see various troops outside surrounding the vessel and taking up positions.
"Here goes."
She palmed the button to open up the airlock. Lum's guards gasped.
"It's Lum! Lower your weapons, hold your fire!"
Terra gaped a moment, then suddenly remembered her appearance. Doing her best "wounded kitten" impression, she pretended to collapse in the doorway.
"Oh thank god I could escape, that evil witch Terra got ahold of me, oh she's so strong..."
Mendo glanced over and yelled at the stormtroopers, who were already picking her up and carrying her across the field. "No you idiots! It's a trick! They look exactly alike!" Terra glared over at Mendo. "How could he be so mean, what did I do?" Mendo signalled to his troops. "I saw Lum go into Invader's vessel before they warped away. They're probably back at the homeworld now. This is Terra, and I'm willing to bet my life on it. Open fire!!"
As the various troops around her aimed their weapons, Terra cussed loudly, withdrew one of her knives, and put it around Megane's neck. Then she slowly withdrew to the shuttle entrance. "Make one move and this kid gets it!" She dug the knife into his neck, and a trickle of blood came out, just to prove her point.
When she reached the transport, she kicked Megane away, sealed off the door, and hit another button which deployed a mole that drilling into the ground. After a few seconds, she dove in as well, sealing off the hatch behind her and following the mole as it dug towards the city, underground.
Outside, the second that Megane was clear, Mendo signalled to his troops. "FIRE!!!" The transport quickly filled full of holes, then exploded, leaving a pile of debris. Hudson walked over.
"Hmm, there's no remains. I think she might still be alive..."
Suddenly, a wave of 30 mecha came down from the sky, guns blazing. Mendo's forces fired back, and chaos ensued. One of the mecha had it's legs blown off. Stumbling to the ground, it unleashed a swarm of missiles, taking out the main school complex and a lot of marines.
Underground, Terra laughed as she heard explosions going off overhead. "How convenient, it looks like one of the squadrons picked this area as their attack point.."
Onboard the Under New Ownership, Hayes watched a small blip on the screen.
"Now now my dear, that's one of your oldest tricks in the book. Don't think you'll evade me that easy... Sergei, track her location and follow it, I want to be there when she comes up."
"Aye aye skipper." The ship moved across the sky, following Terra, while chaos ensued below.
Zard, who had watched the proceedings from a distance away in Lum's UFO, laughed. "Well it looks like I won't have to do anything, those silly Earth fools saved me the trouble!" Zard brought the UFO in for a landing a distance from the school grounds.
Amidst the fighting, the storm troopers noticed Lum's UFO landing some distance away, and high-tailed it towards the place it landed.
Zard opened the hatch, only to find himself surrounded by a few very surprised teenagers. He looked around. "Yes, can I help you?"
One of them screamed out, "Where's Lum dammit??" before they all mobbed him, leaving Zard dazed, confused, and bleeding.
The battle continued to rage over the schoolgrounds, and soon, all over the city. Night fell.
Terra finally emerged from the ground, only to find a gun shoved in her face, and a grinning Captain Hayes behind it. "Well well, look who decided to poke her miserable head up?"
"Shove it Hayes."
"I'm afraid I can't do that miss, I've got an obligation to carry out. Now if you'll come with me..."
"Hah!"
Terra suddenly jumped up, then dove back down again, delivering a swift blow to Captain Hayes' face. As he got up, Terra kicked him again, rendering him unconsious.
"Well, that takes care of.." Terra felt another gun shoved at the back of her head.
"Come on Terra, don't make this harder than it has to be, I would not enjoy sending a bullet through your pretty green head."
Terra began to raise her hands, then suddenly touched Sergei's shoulder. Her horns glowed slightly as she sent an ice rift into him, freezing him solid for a few minutes.
"Looser. I'd better find some place to settle down and work things out. Ah, that looks like it'll do.." She glanced over at the open window of Ataru's house. Walking in the front door, she held up her Desert Eagle and ushered the disgruntled parents outside. Locking the door, she went over to a table and pulled out some various schematics that were tucked away in a few pouches, and began to study, while war waged on all around the building and panicked civillians ran for their lives.

Kintaro said " If theres any robots you need to be hunted down I'll do it!" Hudson noticed that behind Kintaro was a sack a busted up robot head poked out of it and said "Just bite me! This guys nuts get me outta this bag!" Kintaro shoved the head back in the sack. Hudson said "Hmmm that looked sorta like Crow T robot. Oh well I'll overlook it this time. Yes Kintaro there will be robots there. Although technicaly their complex battle armor with tiny men inside but close enough I guess." Kintaro was holding a copy of Robot hunter Cashan in his left hand. Hudson said "Kids these days..."
Mendo said "I have an idea on how we can beat them. You may be aware of the SRV Tako 700 the most powerful weapon in posetion of the Mendo household."
Hudson said "Ahh yes the giant robot that got blown up by Lums memory erasing creature awhile back."
Mendo: Well my scientists have improved it. This version will take out the invaders or my name isnt Shutaro Mendou!
Hudson:All right if it fails I'll be calling you Shirly Mendou from now on seeing as how you change into a girl sometimes.
Lums stormtroopers and Kintaro were busy prepareing for the coming fight. Megane was prepareing to recite aa stirring speech about how they would fight for Lum but he lost his papers it was written on and tried to make upa speech from scratch.
The fleet of mechs got ever closer to Tomobiki. Will our heroes be ready? Stay tuned to find out!

Dr Ginkobot the inventor of the phaze torpedo quikly got together several key parts of his inventions. He knew that if he stayed there the earthlings would eventualy overpower Terras forces and he'd be caught. Dr Ginkobot put on a personal cloaking device and snuck off.
Shutaro ran outside and pulled out his special microphone he used to call the SRV Tako 700. He shouted "Come on out Tako SRV 700!" Tomobiki parted and a giant robot came out of a secret compartment.
Kintaro looked over and said "Wow! If a bag that bot I'll be set for life!"

Terra was quietly studying in her new temporary home, when suddenly the ground shook. Standing up, she then noticed the entire town seperating, as a massive mecha emerged. Screaming, she jumped out of the house before it was crushed, cursing herself for not taking the time to learn how to fly. She watched as the mecha looked around for a moment, as if though seeking out a target. She ducked behind a pile of debris and simply watched.
Meanwhile, on the Oni homeworld, the Body Smasher had just finished being hauled back to land by a squad of divers, and repairs were under way. Ataru, Lum, Ten, and Invader watched the proceedings.
"...and accounting for the loss of the main reactor core and the power grid, it'll take at least 1 month before we can move it out to space again.. then a few more before you can even think of leaving the repair yard.."
Ataru sneered at Lum. "This is all your fault! If you hadn't gotten into trouble, then could have avoided this whole problem! Argh!" Lum spun around and retorted. "If you haven't been hanging out with that ugly Shinobu, none of this would have even happened in the first place! You're the one who got lost!"
"Yea, well.." The 2 bickered on with each other, while Invader simply sighed and went over to help out with the repairs. Ten hovered overhead, watching in glee.
Zard was regaining his balance after having the whole town fall on top of him, and as he wandered the streets, he suddenly saw a familiar green-haired woman.
"Ah, this is my chance to end it once and for all. Lets see if my aim is still good..." Pulling out a knife from his belt-pouch, he took careful aim, and threw it right at her head.
Terra moved her head slightly to the right in an attempt to get a better view of the action, only to have a knife whizz past her face and almost take off her ear. She spun around, only to see Zard. "Zard?! What, did all of my crew members plan a defection at the same time? What is this? Grrr, well I'll at least have the pleasure of seeing you die!" She whipped out her Desert Eagle and aimed it right at Zard's head.
An explosion sounded behind Zard, and he ducked as a Shaithan mecha came sailing over a crumbled building and landed right next to Terra, then exploded, sending her sprawling. Zard took off the other way, cussing. Mendou walked over from the place the mecha came from to the wreckage with his sword out, muttering. He then noticed an unconsious Terra lying a short distance away. He signalled to his troops. "Aha! We found her people! Take her!"
A group of soldiers rushed over and carried Terra off to a van, which then drove off to the Mendou mansion. Mendou looked up at the giant mecha. "Lets see them take that thing down."
Doctor Ginkobot watched Terra being taken away through one of his monitors. He had set up a portable bunker, which was well hidden from sight, and could survive a nuclear blast.
"Hmm, lets see here.." Putting together a few pieces and hitting some buttons on his console, and watched as a special container popped out. "I'm well aware of Mendou's 'illness' and I'm sure he'd do anything to cure it... mayhap a bit of bargaining is required to free Terra? Let us see." He grabbed the vial and walked out towards Mendou's mansion.
The night drove on, with battles still raging all over the city. Mendou's forces fought on, but it seemed like the Shaithan forces never stopped coming.
Over in the U.S., a news broadcast could be heard. "...the president seems to be ok, and we have not yet tracked the source of the mysterious attack. We also have word on a massive attack that is going on in the Japan town of Tomobiki. We are working to bring you more news around the clock, and we ask that everyone please not panick and simply hope it does not drift over here.."
All the around the U.S., missile defenses were being prepared and air forces were launched. The entire state held it's breath in preperation of a possible World War 3.

Back at Tomobiki High School...
7:14PM
Warren Hudson cursed as he was pushed to the ground by a mecha blast, he kneeled, pointed his bazooka at the mecha, aimed, and fired. He then rolled along the ground and behind a piece of the building. How..where had he gone wrong? Mendou had gone back to the mansion along with Cherry and Sakura to regroup and plan the attack further, leaving Hudson and two units of Mendou soldiers to "do their best," as Hudson himself had put it fifteen minutes earlier. Now as he watched as the school was being blasted away around him Warren felt a tap at his shoulder, he turned to see a Kuroko, holding out an elegant letter.
"Ryouko-sama wishes for you and the troops to withdraw."
"Yeah I think that's a good idea, Kuroko. I've already lost track of the Gang of Four and the violent toddler and his bear!"
As several Kuroko mole units took them away from the ruins of Tomobiki High Warren rubbed his temples, he needed help. And, as luck would have it, he knew just the woman to give it to him.
"Kuroko."
"Yes, Hudson-san?"
"I need to get in touch with Princess Oyuki of Neptune ASAP."

Terra regained conciousnous and found herself in a dark room, with her hands bound behind her to a chair and a needle sitcking out of one of her arms. A shadowy figure walked over.
"Well well, finally woke up have we? Now then, tell me the location of your rebel headquarters. It will bypass a lot of suffering if you tell us now.. although I do rather enjoy it when they draw it out, it's good practice.."
Terra felt a small amount of blood streaming from her mouth. She thought of the irony of it, that the positions were reversed only days before. "Just what the hell happened anyways?" She wondered to herself. "One second I was aiming to blow that idiot Zard's head off, and the next I'm seeing blackness."
"Well, come on now!"
Terra simply looked up and spat blood in his face, which streamed down his white lab coat.
"Oh dear, I hate it when they do that, I just had this dry cleaned.... very well my dear." The figure walked over, grabbed a small vial, and walked back. He then let a little bit slip onto the floor in front of Terra, which resulted in it slowly burning away. "Oh don't worry, it hurts a lot more than it looks." The figure moved closer to Terra, who growled.
"That's right bud, just a bit closer..." When the man hovered over her, she shot out her leg and kicked the man, swiping him off his feet. She then placed her boot heel on his face and sent out an ice rift, freezing him. With a bit of effort and some additional frost rifts, the cuffs binding her to the chair came free, and she walked over to the door. But after spending a few minutes kicking and blasting it, she found she couldn't open it. She kneeled down next to the unconsious scientist and searched for some kind of key that would get her out of there.
Outside the mansion, Dr. Ginkobot was chatting with Mendou. "So you're sure this will cure it, no doubt?" "Yes yes, but you will not get it untill I see Terra, safe and up here."
Mendou growled and signalled for his troops.
Deep in the mansion, Terra finally managed to open the door, only to find a bunch of surprised soldiers on the other side. They quickly recovered and crawled all over her, then dragged her out of the area up to the surface.
Mendou watched as the door open and Terra was dragged out, growling and complaining, then turned back to the doctor. "Well, there she is. Now, the serum!"
"Yes yes. Here it is." He handed the small vial to Mendou, who quickly drank it down. At his request, one of the soldiers dumped a bucket of cold water on him, and he danced in glee as he found that he was indeed cured.
"Now, the girl."
"What? Oh sorry, I forgot to mention I'm under obligation to bring her to Invader where she will be executed. But thanks for the cure."
"Ah, I figured you might pull something like this, which was why I installed a small virus into the serum.. in 24 hours, your intestines will rot and explode, followed by your legs shrinking and arms falling off. It is a rather unpleasant experience. I do happen to have the cure sitting at my secret bunker, but I will not bother to send it to you untill Terra is safely released."
"Damn! Fine, she's yours, take her!"
One of the officers shoved Terra towards the gate. She looked at Dr. Ginkobot affectionately. "Old friend.."
"Say no more my dear, lets leave. You have your weapons?"
"Yea, I mugged them off of one of the soldiers when he wasn't looking..."
"Good. Lets leave. Oh and Mendou, I thank you for your kindly return of Terra, and I am pleased to hear that you can take a joke. Farewell."
Mendou looked over in surprise at the retreating forms, as they vanished into the fog. "J-J-J-joke?! WHAAAT? Everyone! We've been tricked! Hunt them down and bring them back to me!"
For hours the soldiers searched the ruined city, but could turn up no trace of the pair.
Deep underground in Ginkobot's bunker, the 2 watched them search around, and laughed together.

When Warren Hudson returned to the Mendou mansion he was not a happy camper to hear Mendou's letting Terra get away. And all just so he wouldn't have to turn into a girl.
"CAN YOU NOT THINK OF SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF FOR MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES?!?"
Shutaro Mendou didn't even blink, "MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY TURNING INTO A GIRL ONCE IN A WHILE!!!"
Hudson's expression momentarily softened, "I would, you don't understand what I would give to be 17 years old and Ta-Tas 'til Tuesday like you had!"
Ryouko brought peace by bringing Warren his tea, "Status? Besides losing Terra."
"We've lost forty percent of our forces, and sixty-five percent of Tomobiki's land area. Your government is sending reinforcements," Shutaro indicated several wall monitors showing scenes of destruction around Tomobiki, including several world news agencies.
Warren glared at the monitor displaying CNNs North American coverage from Atlanta, Georgia. He touched the volume control...
"...Yes Bruce, it appears that US Ambassador to Japan Warren Hudson has taken command of the situation...viewers may remember Hudson as Nebraska's Senior Senator for twenty-four years, before running against Jimmy Carter and Birch Bayh in the 1976 Democratic Primaries, he lost at the convention and later lost his senate seat by one vote..."
CNN showed file footage of a young 30 year old Hudson campaigning by hayride in the 1952 Nebraska hartland, people waving signs with "Hudson for Nebraska," before showing his subsequent 1976 campaign then his concession statement on his losing night.
"Hudson was also married to Lucilla Edea, the first sorceress to hold elective office in the United States she died in 1973 of-" Warren felt tears sting his eyes and abruptly cut the sound and turned to the Mendou children.
"Any idea where Terra is now?"
Ryouko stepped forward, "My Kuroko believe she is still in Tomobiki, probably underground."
"Any way we can send a message to Invader or Neptune?"
Shutaro shook his head, "not at present."
Hudson sipped his tea, the long range communications arrays were all down, other sites around the world were under attack and satallites were having trouble with interference from the rip in space. He didn't even know if Invader, Lum, Ataru, and Jariten were still alive. Warren made a decision.
"Ryouko-sama."
"Yes?"
"I need to talk to Terra, find out what she's after."
Both Mendous, guards, and Kurokos seemed shocked. "All we know is that Terra has a lot of firepower, smarts, loyalty problems amongst her troops, an uncanny resemblance to Lum-san, a severe grudge against Invader, and a determination to win that rivals George S. Patton, my old general in WWII. We know nothing else, except that Invader understandably wants her head. I would like to know why she is doing this, you've all seen that she wants to kill or capture Invader's family a whole hell of a lot more than she wants to invade the Earth."
Everyone nodded. "I'll see what I can do," Ryouko smiled and turned to her staff.

Okay, let's have Terra respond and give Hudson her real reason for her aggresion against Invader and Earth. It's about time it comes out. ;)

Inside of the bunker, Terra turned to her war-torn troops, those that were still loyal anyways.
"Alright people, this sure as hell didn't go as planned. My sources tell me that Lum is currently on the Oni homeworld, alive and well, with that nutcase '"husband' of hers. So our current directives are as follows. We shall attempt to regain control of the Spartacus, by removing those fusion warheads still in orbit. We will then bring the sub-space drives online, jump to the Oni homeworld, and eliminate Lum and all her associates whilst they are weak."
Terra paused a moment and consulted some intel printouts.
"The main problems lies with getting back to the Spartacus. They've got a massive watch on it, and all of our attempts to re-board it have failed miserably. And that idiot Zard is out there somewhere interfering with our efforts as well. I'm still putting together the plan, but what we will probably end up doing is having a small squadron take out their communications and monitoring equipment on the ground. Since we need the bulk of the force for the assault on the Oni homeworld, I'll lead the rest of the force up to the Spartacus. We will then move out once the defenses have been cleared, before they can bring their backup systems online. As I said, I'm still working out the details, so don't expect to move out for the next few days. For now, just relax."
She turned around as a blinking monitor caught her attention. She pushed a button on the console.
"WIDE-BAND TRANSMISSION INTERCEPTED: ALL FREQUENCIES. PLAY?"
Curious as to what this would have to do with her, she accepted it, and looked up in puzzlement when Hudson's face appeared.
"Princess Terra of the Shaithan rebellion, this is Ambassador Hudson. We wish to know what your motives are behind this war, so we can make a decision as to whether or not to continue oppressing you, or if it's even our business. Reply immediately."
"Hmm.." she thought to herself. "Now what are they up to? Well, I suppose explaining it couldn't hurt, and who knows, they just might decide to get their miserable hides out of our way." She hailed the source of the transmission.
"This is Princess Terra, leader of the Shaithan Elite force. So you wish to know of our motives do you? Very well, but it's a long story, so I suggest you sit down."
She took a breath and went on. "Around 4 years ago, the Oni kingdom was all and whole. The empire was ruled by Invader's strong hand, and nobody was ever in any danger. I was stationed on one of the military outposts at the farthest reaches of the galaxy. One day, I learned of Lum's marriage to Ataru. It was then that I also learned that my one of my close friends was executed for crimes against our race. I was taken back, ever since I had known him, he never did do a hostile thing. Even if what they said was true, his swift execution was uncalled for. I got pretty damn pissed off."
"I made numerous attempts to contact the council to find out what had happened, only to get the simple brush-off. Eventually, Invader seemed to get so annoyed by my consistent pestering that he pointed a finger at me and declared me Carl's assistant in his crimes."
"And thus began a war that has ravaged many planets and lasted years. Over time I aquired many friends who also knew I was wrongfully accused, and I soon had a massive fleet at my disposal. My goal soon changed from simple defense to revenge, and then to total takeover. My goal now is to assasinate Lum, who is next in line to take the throne, and proceed to rule the Oni kingdom myself."
"I hope that clears it up for you. Terra out."
Leaning back in her chair, she took a sip from her drink and sighed in exhaustion. It was going to be a long week.

Dr Ginkobot was fiddling around with something in the back of the room. He dragged out a strange cannon and placed some hair in one chamber of the cannon. Terra said "Is that the weapon you neeeded Ataru for?" Dr Ginkobot said "Yes unfortunatly I dont have him at the moment but I do have a peice of his hair. As you know Atrau has an aura of infinite bad luck. Just enough of that bad luck is present in his hair for this to work. This device can channel his aura into a beam. I have enough for just 1 shot."
Dr Ginkobot Put on some special gasses so he could center the target.A bush moved outside the bunker and a gun came out from under the ground. He placed the lock of hair in the cannon and it began to charge.
Outside Kintaro was whacking the foot of the SRV Tako 700 with his ax without much succes.
He didnt notice it but a strange bolt breifly touched the robots head. Kintaro took another whack and suddenly there was a strange creaking noise. The robots leg broke and it came tumbling down!

Hudson shrugged as he watched Kintaro attacking Mendou's robot. "Well, I've found him. Say Shutaro, maybe someone should go out and help straighten things out for Kintaro? I don't know, maybe Cherry or Sakura can help him."
"Yes, maybe," he snapped a finger for one of his guards to make it so.
Warren looked at the screen Terra's image had occupied a moment before, was the Earth on the wrong side of things from the start? At first, Hudson couldn't believe Invader would do all the things Terra said he did. But then again Invader had seriously tried to invade Earth, and it was Warren Hudson, after Ataru won the tag race and that oil fiasco, who offered peace and reconcillation between Earth and the Oni.
"Our next number one priority is to communicate with Invader and get his side of the story."

Maybe Zard and/or Hayes should drop in to say hello to the Ambassador and the Mendou siblings. And yeah, what is up with the Invader's?

On the Oni Homeworld, Ataru, Lum, Ten, Tyler, and Invader watched on the bridge of the Body Smasher as techs worked around the clock to restore functionality to the ship. The communications system was the first to be restored to full power, and now work was proceeding on the main drives to get the ship back into space. Invader turned to the group, while Tyler made every effort to stay as far away as possible from Ataru.
"I must stay here and monitor the repairs, but all of you must return to Earth and see what has happened. I fear that war may still be raging on there, so I'm deploying a squad of my elite guard to assist you. I've booked a space taxi flight to take you back there, and it leaves within the hour. So pack your things and get moving."
The group nodded and headed out, and a squad of armour-clad soldiers followed them closely.
Back in the war-ravaged city, Zard had finally found Shinobu. He rushed to the ruined building that used to be her house. "Thank the stars you're alive!"
Shinobu turned around. "Yes, I'm glad to see you.. just what is it about you anyways? You almost seem to think I'm related to you in some way."
Leaning against the wall, Zard called back some old memories. "It's a long story... around 20 years ago, we were aboard a science vessel, mapping out the universe for the Oni kingdom. While I'm not Oni myself, the pay was good, so I joined up."
"During the course of our flight, I fell in love with a woman, who's name was Carla. We got together... and had you."
Shinobu gasped. "No, that can't be true, I've been here all my life!"
"Details my dear, explanation will come in time. Now then. Over the course of our exploration, we eventually encountered an alien race. Calling themselves the Rivans, they simply ordered us to dis-embark and surrender. When we refused, they opened fire."
"Carla and I barely reached the escape pods in time. Me and you barely managed to get in in time, but the section de-pressurized, blowing Carla out. When the escape pod left, another explosion blew it in half, seperating us. I guess over time you found your way to this planet, but in the time it took, and as a result of extended cryogenic stasis, you probably lost all memory of what happened."
Shinobu looked up. "It's not true! I remember every second of being here!"
"Probably a result of a new artificial memory the systems created based on existing data from this planet.."
"No.. it can't be..."
"It's the facts."
Shinobu glanced up at Zard, tears filling her eyes, then took off down the road, crying.
"Shinobu! Wait! Damn, let her go for now.."
Zard leaned back on what was left of the wall in the battle-ravaged building and sighed.
Over in a dark part of town, Captain Hayes regained conciousnous. Moaning, he stood up. Sergei did the same.
"Damn! She's quick.. we'll have to be faster next time."
"Next time we should just shoot first and ask questions later." Sergei replied in his usual english accent.
"Come on, lets return to the Under New Ownership, we'll see if we can track her down.. I also wish to make contact with this "Hudson" person, he seems to be after the same goal as us.. stopping this damn war."
The 2 figures climbed into the nearby shuttle and took off into the sky. Once on-board, Hayes opened a channel with Mendou's mansion.
"This is the Ex-Shaithan vessel Under New Ownership, Captain Hayes speaking. I wish to speak with Mr. Hudson, I believe we may benefit from each other's company.."

"This is Ambassador Warren Hudson, Captain. If you mean 'company' as in not trying to blow eachother to pieces, then I accept."
The commline crackled, "That's good to hear. We'll be arriving at the Mendou mansion in five minutes. Under New Ownership o-"
"Captain!"
"Yes Hudson?"
"Have you heard anything about Invader and company yet?"
"We know they're alive and mostly well on Planet Oni," Hayes answered.
Hudson nodded, "I have a few questions for Mr. Invader when I get the chance..."

In the bunker, Terra turned to her troops.
"Alright people, I've got the details worked out. So listen up!"
"Alpha and Beta wings, your job will be a coordinated strike on the Mendou mansion from all directions. Take out their communcations and sensor systems at all costs, that will stop them from detonating the fusion warheads. Once they are down, get your asses out of there and up to the Spartacus or be MIA!"
"The rest of you, Delta, Epsilon, and Gamma wings, you'll follow me up to the Spartacus. We'll work to get the sub-space drives online, then we get the hell out of this system and head to the Oni homeworld on the double to claim our victory! Is that understood everyone?"
30 united voices spoke up. "Yes ma'am! For your future highness!"
"Very good. Ginkobot has prepared some new weapons for you, I'll let him brief you on the details and other things. We launch in 2 hours!"
Meanwhile, Hudson, Sergei, and Hayes were sitting around a table in Mendou's mansion, discussing their plan, while officers and consoles buzzed around them.
"So you need contact with Invader eh? I think that can be arranged..."
"As long as their comm relay is online, I can simply boost the signal and have a link going easily." Sergei said. "...but like I said, that's assuming their comm relay is online, and I'm not sure if it is, considering the pounding that ship took."
Hudson nodded. "Well, give it a try, if they can respond, they will."
Hayes and Sergei rose. "Is there anything else you need?"
"Just one other thing. You seem to know Terra pretty good..."
"Yea, we've been together for most of this war."
"What weaknesses does she have?"
"That's a difficult question. On one end she can be a brick wall, which turns into something 50 times as thick when she's outnumbered and out gunned. But when she's about to claim victory, she pretty much doesn't care about anything else. I'd say mis-lead her into thinking she's winning, then hit her in the back while her guard is down. Aside from that, I can't offer up too much useful info."
"Alright, thanks. Tell me when you have that transmission set up."
"Will do." Hayes and Sergei left the room.
Zard was slowly walking through town, searching for Shinobu. Suddenly he heard a blood curdling scream to his left. Rushing over, he saw Shinobu out in the open, crying and cursing, while one very familiar green-haired girl emerged from a space-taxi, along with Ataru, Ten, and Tyler, who was still keeping a good distance from Ataru.
Upon seeing Lum, he crouched behind some debris and watched. "I really have no idea if she spotted what I actually looked like, but chances are she'd recognize my voice.. better stay low for now." He watched as Shinobu began screaming "No! She's back she's back! Damn damn damn!!", then noticed Ataru following Lum. She picked up the closest large object to her, a large chair, and proceeded to toss objects at Ataru at a rapid pace. Ataru screamed and took off, with Shinobu following him, while Lum and Ten simply looked around the city, seeming to ignore the 2 for now. Tyler simply stood and gawked at the mass destruction.
Terra glanced up at one of her monitors, and suddenly noticed a green-haired girl floating around.
"WHAT? Damn! She's back.. this could get difficult. We'll go to plan for now. At least Invader isn't with her.. we'll take him out first and return for her later."
The month of August had begun, and god only knew what would happen in the coming days.

Dr Ginkobot was showing off his latest weapons to be used by the soldiers.
Dr Ginkobot picked up a gun and said "This babey can fire 1000 rounds in ten minutes, it has a ray that can neutralize an onis power for an hour, it can fire a corrosive liquid that can eat through a bock of steal in 10 seconds and it makes coffie!
Then he took something out of the box that looked like Ten. Dr Ginkobot said "This is the Jariten 6000. It will replace the origenal Jariten and assanate lum and kidnap Ataru and tyler. It may look harmless but trust me it packs a bigger arsenal then that gun. Dr Ginkobot touched the fake tens horn activating it.

August 1, 1986
Warren Hudson morosely lie on a bed in wait for the Mendou communications staff to make contact with Invader, Oyuki had proven impossible to contact with the Earth communications network in its present state.
And so Hudson had taken to a guest room were he watched the world news broadcasts and nursed a bottle of bourbon he took from one of the Mendou kitchens. He looked up from the television as a knock was heard at his door.
"Yes?"
Ryouko walked in, "Hudson-sama, can I come in for a few minutes?"
"Yes, Ryouko, please take a seat," he indicated an empty chair facing the bed.
She sat down, and regarded the TV for a few minutes then turned to Warren. "Our staff has not made contact with Mr. Invader yet, I'm sorry."
Hudson nodded, "that's all right. But it is imperative that I talk to him before I make a decision about fighting Terra...something stinks about ALL this and I won't know what to do until I talk to him, and even then I don't know if it will shed any light on who's right and who's wrong here!"
Warren sipped some more bourbon and Ryouko looked at him with concern, "you should get some rest..."
Hudson just shrugged and looked back at the TV. A week ago Ryouko would never have thought she would be here, assisting in a fight for humanity's probable survival. When this all started when Ton-chan dropped that sex-change balloon on Shutaro's head, Ryouko had just wanted to laugh at Hudson getting her brother in trouble with her parents. But soon her Kuroko reported that people were actually getting hurt badly in this and she then resolved to put all her machinations, granades and voodoo dolls aside until things were once again as they should be.
Ryouko noticed that Hudson was dozing off slightly, and she noticed that the CNN coverage had once again focused on Hudson's involvement.
"...After joining the Democratic reelection ticket of Governor Jack Roscoe in 1950, Warren Hudson spent two years as Lieutenant Governor of Nebraska. After the retirement of Sen. Wallace Crowley, he ran in the open seat election against six primary opponents and two general election opponents, he won with 52.6 percent of the vote and is credited with helping Nebraska go for Democratic Presidential nominee Adlai Stevenson that year as well as in 1956..."
There was also some interesting things that caught Ryouko's ear about Hudson and the Kennedys:
"...In 1960, Hudson was a chief supporter of an attempt to draft Stevenson into running a third time, which caused strife when Sen. Hudson refused to retract his support until well after the Democratic Convention was underway. It was also widely rumored at this time that Hudson had firm control over the entire Democratic machine north of Okalhoma, west of Illinois, and just east of the west coast. Meaning, that while he couldn't choose the nominee himself, he could withhold vital support from the plains, west, and hartland..."
Some things about Hudson's family life:
"The Ambassador was orphaned at an early age and sent to work on his uncle's farm during the Great Depression, he left the farm for the Marines in 1942, assigned an administrative post in Japan in '45, and was given an honorable discharge in '49. Hudson met the Sorceress Lucilla Edea when he began working as a journalist in Lincoln for a short time, they were soon married..."
Ryouko moved her chair quietly closer to the television, hoping not to wake Hudson.
"...In late 1962 Hudson announced he was running for President, challenging JFK. After the assassination, he stayed in the race and ran against LBJ, scoring unexpected thirty percent numbers in primaries with his platform against involvement in Vietnam. At the convention, he scored a third of the delegate vote and earned the ire of his President..."
Ryouko knew most of this already, Hudson was a fairly popular figure in Japan after his nine years as Ambassador.
"...Hudson passed on running for the White House in '68 and '72, but returned in '76 and won several large state primaries..."
Ryouko looked out of the corner of her eye and noticed Hudson was awake again, he smiled grimly, "I won more than several, can't the junkies get it right? And I didn't *earn* Johnson's ire, he just underestimated me, he thought I was a lightweight mush head...and the Kennedys didn't like me very much because I 'stole' the Massachusetts primary from Carter in '76, after the clan campaigned hard for him...and Ryouko, I'm not happy that most of the reports have neglected to mention Lucilla's passing in '73."
Ryouko looked down, "how did you meet her? I mean, it's not common for a professional sorceress to marry a politician."
Hudson gazed at her, "that's long, long story I'd tell you over dinner, if only you weren't fifteen."
"I'm sixteen, I'll be seventeen later this month," Ryouko corrected.
Hudson laughed, then sat up, "come on, let's go see if your brother has found Kintaro and the Gang of Four yet."
Ryouko genuinely smiled as Hudson offered her his arm, and they left the room for the Control room.

On the Under New Ownership, Sergei cussed loudly.
"Damn, what in hell is wrong with our comm system? I can't even get an uplink with the closest comm relay! There's some kind of interference..."
Sergei checked the sensors.
"Ah, now I see. Some idiot put a bunch of fusion warheads in orbit, so many that their magnetic fields are interfering with any attempts to send a message outside of the planet."
Sergei hit a button on his console, opening a channel with the Mendou mansion.
"This is Lt. Sergei of the Under New Ownership, requesting that you take down those warheads in orbit, as they are interfering with our transmission."
"Negative UNO, we have reason to believe Terra will make a run for it sooner or later, and we need constant defense."
"And I suppose that's more important than establishing contact with Invader, no? You've heard what Hudson wants."
"Just a second, let me clear it.."
"The longer we wait, the longer untill I can get contact established."
The tech could be seen sighing and standing up, and a "HOLD" message appeared. A few minutes later, the tech returned.
"Alright, it's cleared, the warheads are coming down."
"Thank you for your quick and responsive service." Sergei said sarcastically, ending the transmission and returning to his work.
In the bunker, Terra and her troops were getting into their mechas and discussing the final details of the attack.
"Alright, so is everyone ready? For the squad that's going with me, remember, watch out for those warheads, get too close and they'll go off anyways, leaving a rather nasty stain.. as for the rest of you, be careful. Alright? Lets go!"
A hatch opened above the bunker, and the squadron departed, 9 heading off towards the Mendou mansion, the other 21 heading straight up into space.
At the Mendou mansion, one of the guards was sitting outside the gate, having a smoke, when suddenly a bright blue beam stabbed out of the darkness, blowing his head open. As one of the armoured mecha stepped forward, 3 more moved off to his left, and 5 moved to his right. He advanced, then took off on blaring thrusters and opened fire on the compound, with the intent of distracting everyone else. As missiles flew his way, the rest of the squad flew around behind, and quickly dispatched the communications and sensors relay. After taking out those and a good portion of the mansion, they took off into the sky. One of them went on the comm. "That went quicker than I figured it would, looks like we got em unprepared."
"Heh, yea, now we can get the hell out of here!"
Up in space, Terra stopped the rest of the group.
"Where the hell are all the warheads? I guess they got tired of waiting and took them down. Alright, lets move in!"
The group quickly entered the Spartacus and most broke off and headed for engineering to bring the sub-space drive online, while Terra headed for the bridge. She used the mecha's hand to hit a button on the console.
"SUBSPACE DRIVE CHARGING: 10%. ETA: 30 MINUTES"
"Damn! Too long! Oh well, we'll have to wait till it's charged."
Down in the mansion, Hudson and Ryouko looked out the window at the mess that used to be the communications array.
"Caught us totally off guard..." he muttered. "And Invader's probably helpless..."

No one on planet oni noticed a small warp open up and a small object passed through it homing in on the Mr Invaders ship.
about half an hour later Ten was wandering about Lums quarters trying to keep occupied. He noticed the an air vent was adjar. Ten walked over to the air vent to inspect it. Then he heard a noise behind him. He turned around to see an exact double of him! Ten floated up in to the air and said "Hey you! Just what do you think your doing looking like me?" In one hand the fake Ten lifted up a chair and hurled it at Ten barely missing him. The chair smashed against the wall on the other side of the room. Ten hit the fake Ten with a full blast of fire. Ten flew over to the door and tried to open it but it was shut tight. Ten looked closer to see it was welded! Ten saw the fake Tens silouet in the fire with his eyes glowing and looking evil. The fake ten made a fist and energy began to gather around his fist. He leapt at ten and barely missed Tens head with his power fist as ten dodged. his power fist hit the wall making a two foot hole in it. Ten roled across the floor and whipped an energy pistol out of his dyper. Ten shouted "Take this you bastard!" he fired an energy bolt at the fake ten who defelcted it with his power fist. Ten fired repeated shots but each was being defelcted. The fake Ten opened his mouth and shot a large ball of energy at Ten with it. The ball missed and blew a large whole in the wall. Ten flew through the hole it. But The fake Ten flung a large object at Ten knocking him out of the air. Ten fell down somewhere. The fake Ten was about to go look for him when someone came up behind him. It was Ataru. Ataru said "Ten whats going on with all the noise some of us are trying think!" The fake Ten said "Your an idiot so you dont have to think!" Ataru tried to smack the fake Ten but he caught Atarus hand and flung him accross the room! Ataru was out cold.

Warren was pissed, not other way to describe it. "Time to see if Reagan's as much of a military hawk as he says he is."
Ryouko shuddered as she noticed a man's head lying in a fountain, suddenly Hudson led her away back towards his room. When they arrived Hudson locked the door and knelt down beside the bed, he dragged out a metal briefcase.
"What is that?"
"A telephone of last resort, my dear."
Warren opened the briefcase to reveal a portable computer console, "the transmitter's in the shower, in case you were wondering..." he put a headset on.
He started typing furiously, the screen flashed with text and crude images.
"This KDK1 calling KDK12, KDK1 calling KDK12. Are you receiving me?"
"Affirmative, KDK1. Looks like Charlie's hit in your neck of the woods, you need Hotel Company to assist?"
"Freakin' A, KDK12. It's been two days, is the Sparrow ready yet?"
"King Robb just gave the green five minutes ago, KDK1. I was about to phone home."
"Thank you, KDK1 over and out," Hudson smiled, closed the briefcase and put it back under the bed. Warren had effectively put the entire US Space Navy on alert and sent them to intercept the Spartacus and allowed the newly repaired US ET communications grid to be controlled by what was left of the Mendou Control Center.
Ryouko smiled, "perhaps you can teach my Kuroko something after all."
"Of a certainty. Now, let's go find your brother."

It's time for Invader to set things straight with the Ambassador, and maybe for Ataru, Lum and Jariten to make an entrance. And hell, let's see that Jariten 6000 in action!

Sergei spun in his chair and did a little victory dance as a green "CONNECTION ESTABLISHED" icon appeared on his screen. He hit a button on his console. "I've established communications Captain, you can go any time. There is just one catch though... their communication relay system seems to be having some problems. Thanks to the extreme distance, you'll just have to have Hudson prepare a batch of messages to send off, and Invader will reply in turn."
"Good work Sergei." He called up the Mendou mansion, only to get static.
"What the hell? Sergei, take us over the mansion, it looks like they are having communications problems."
"Aye Captain."
As the ship flew low over the mansion, the Captain could see the mass destruction that had just taken place, as a large portion of the mansion was mere rubble. The ship landed in the field, and Hayes and Sergei dis-embarked. Hudson and Ryouko greeted them at the doorway.
"What happened, get hit by another assault?"
"Yes, caught us totally off guard... there's quite a chance that Terra is preparing to leave the system this very minute, just waiting for her drives to power back up."
"Well, we've got some good news. We've managed to get a connection to Invader's communication system, but thanks to some damage that still remains on their end, the transmissions must be sent in bundles, with a 5 minute interval between responses. Our communications system is at your disposal, I'll have Sergei wire it into the mansion ASAP."
Sergei smiled. "On it Captain." He ran off back to the UNO.
Onboard the Spartacus, Terra was getting frustrated. She glared at the console like it was an enemy, with the counter slowly going up.
"SUB-SPACE DRIVE CHARGING: 56%. ETA: 10 MINUTES."
"Damn worthless junk!"
She stabbed a button, opening a channel to the engineering section.
"What the hell is taking so long down there?"
"It looks like some of the shrapnel from the cruisers exploding earlier got caught on the ship, we took some damage to the main drives, which is why it's taking so long to charge. We're working on getting it fixed..."
"Work faster dammit! They've probably figured out what's up by now and have a large force coming to our position!"
The tech patted the bench beside him. "I've got a spare wrench if you want to come help." Chuckling was heard in the background.
Terra simply cussed and closed the connection.

Sergei came on the comm. "Message sent sucessfully. Now we just wait for a response."
Down on the Body Smasher, one of the techs spoke. "Sir, we're recieving an incoming transmission, from Earth. It's being downloaded now, it may take a moment because our main comm system is still off-line and the auxiliaries are barely working."
"Very well, play it once we have it."
Invader listened to Hudson's demands.
"Very well, prepare a response, patch it through to my quarters."
Invader got up and walked into a small room at the back of the bridge, and sat down at a desk.
"Ah, Hudson, I have heard many things about you. Knowing Terra, she probably concocted some long-running story of death and misery just to gain a few extra allies. Here's what really happened."
"10 years ago, one Doctor Ginkobot managed to get ahold of my daughter, and took a sample of her DNA. From that, he began working on a specimen. At the time, it was simply known as 'The Cygni project', to those who knew about it anyways."
"A few months after the project began, Ginkobot's specimen was nearing completion. What it was? A complete clone of Lum. While, for various reasons, Lum's powers could not be specifically copied, Ginkobot knew enough about the Oni chemical makeup to replicate the process partially, by giving her an Ice power, as you may or may not have seen by now."
"To make up for the lack of extra powers, Ginkobot gave her the tactical finesse of our finest soldiers, and a lot of strength. She won't back down no matter what the odds are, and she is very crafty."
"After a time, Ginkobot released the specimen, and gave it a name, Terra. After a short introduction, she then proceeded to break out and go on a rampage. Ginkobot later learned of a small bug when the memory was implanted, as it was accidentally put together from a combination of Zard, who you may be familiar with by now, Lum, who has an extensive history that she and I would rather not reveal at this time, and a few various other soldiers of ours."
"After Ginkobot learned of what had happened, he began to follow Terra around to see what would happen. He gradually learned that she was under the impression the Oni kingdom was "not right" and it was her duty to correct that problem. By spreading false propaganda to our furthest of outposts, she put together her own army and commenced war."
"Ginkobot decided to assist her. What his motives are, I am totally unsure, but all of our attempts to capture him have failed, he's extremely slippery. Loose sight of him for one second and you can spend months before you'll locate him again. All I know is, Ginkobot provided a false letter and a few various other trinkets to make Terra's history appear more 'true'. Quite frankly, what she told you may be true in one sense, because that is what she remembers, but I can personally assure you I had nothing to do with her rage."
"I do hope this clears it up for you. Be extremely cautious when dealing with her, and don't be afraid to use every single means necessary to take her down. She's extremely crafty, don't assume her dead untill you see her remains scattered all over the ground."

Warren listened to Invader's message and turned to Shutaro and Ryouko.
"I believe his story, until I know more."
Hudson turned away and went to a window, there he saw some US Medics taking care of the Mendou wounded and dead. Warren's thoughts focused on Terra with sympathy, if Invader's side of things was the truth, the girl had been horribly used by Ginkobot. He wondered if there was a way to make her see the truth, if she could comprehend another truth besides the one Ginkobot had programmed into her.
"Shutaro, signal the forces to intercept Terra and give her a message: Tell her I've decided she's telling the truth and I would like to speak to her alone in order to work out terms for...er...reparations."
The elder Mendou nodded, and his guards went to work.

Onboard the Spartacus, Terra growled at the console.
SUB-SPACE DRIVE CHARGING: 92%. ETA: 5 MINUTES
"What the hell is taking you guys so long? We were supposed to be ready almost 20 minutes ago!!"
"The power grid has exploded highness. We're dumping every scrap of power into getting the drives online, but it's damn difficult."
"Gargh! The galaxy for a competent crew and a working ship!!"
Dr. Ginkobot, who had just arrived on the ship, came up behind her.
"Calm down my dear, I'm sure they are doing their best."
She whirled around. "Well their best is not enough! I want my victory NOW!"
"Patience. I will go down and see if I can assist them."
Terra's face softened up. "If there's anybody who can get this working, it's you."
Ginkobot simply turned around and walked off the bridge without another word.
A few moments later, the console turned green. "SUB-SPACE DRIVE CHARGED."
"Finally! Set a course for- huh? What now?"
The comm panel beeped. "Terra, we have thought over your story and we believe you. Hudson wishes to talk with you alone to work out terms of a possible alliance..."
"Sorry bud, I'm about to claim my victory. Maybe in a few hours after I've utterly annihilated Invader, I'll swing by on my way to take out Lum and maybe have a little chit-chat. Taa taa! Helm, engage sub-space drive!"
Terra laughed as the drives whirred up and opened a massive portal, which engulfed the ship. For the first time in months she was enjoying herself.
Back on Earth, Zard was talking with Shinobu while the city was rebuilt around them.
"So this is really true Zard?"
"Yes, I know it's hard to accept, but that's what happened."
"Then.. I guess I should call you dad..."
"Hah, Zard will do for now."
"So what about my current family? What happens to them?"
"Well, that's your choice. I felt compelled to open up your past to you, but if you wish to stay with them, that's up to you."
"I'll have to think it over.."
"Take all the time you need." Zard stood up. "I'm going to go make sure that Terra is really dead so this fighting will stop. I'll be back in a few hours. Later!" He took off down the road.
Meanwhile, Lum, Ataru, Ten, and Tyler had reached the Mendou mansion, or what was left of it. Tyler was still gawking. "What the heck could have caused all this destruction?"
Ataru, who had taken an intense disliking to Tyler, sneered at him. "Gee, I wonder? Maybe a massive attack?"
Lum looked behind them, and noticed a group of 4 running towards them at an insane pace, kicking up a large load of dust behind them. As they got closer, they turned out to be the stormtroopers, cheering all the way. They mobbed the group and began pelting a load of questions at them. Tyler just stood there stunned, Ataru rubbed his hair and laughed from getting all the attention, and Lum just tried to stay away from the groping hands. Ten was hovering a ways above, just looking around.
One of the techs in the Mendou mansion looked up. "Sir, we've got some bad news... Terra has just jumped."
Hayes stood up. "Invader is helpless. I've got to go and try and hold her off." Sergei looked over. "That ship is covered in weapons! It would be suicide to try an attack alone."
"Well we've got to try.." Hayes and Sergei ran out the door and boarded the Under New Ownership.

Woops I missed the prat with the space taxi. oh well I guess I'll have to reintroduce the Jariten 6000.

Tyler was off flirting with some girls and telling them how he had defeated some aleins and other storys. He was having a bit more success with them then Ataru and this was making Ataru a bit annoyed. Ataru couldnt interfere without getting stuck to him again though. Ten was watching this and thought would be a good oppurtunity to play a trick on them. Unknown to Ten something else was watching him. In a tree 1 mile away sat the exact double of Ten. It zoomed in to close range with it's telescopic vision. Then it took careful aim.
Ten noticed Kintaro come up beneath the tree and started to fly down to talk to him. But just as he moved the spot he was standing on got blown away.
The fake Kintaro saw the look on Ten face and knew it had been discovered. If Ten were to say anything it could ruin its mission. It flew toward theyre position at super speed and landed in front of Ten. It said "And where do you think your going?" Kintaro said "Hey Ten that guy looks like you? You never told me you had a brother." Ten said "I dont have a brother! Look pal I dont know who you think you are but for ripping off my good looks you burn!" Ten blasted the fake Ten with his fire. The Jaritan 6000 walked through the flame with only it's silouet and glowing eyes visible making it look evil!!!!! The Jariten 6000 raised a fist. Energy began to gather around its fist. Ten said "Hey I think this guys a robot!" The Jariten 6000 jumped into the air and tried to punch Ten but it's glowing fist hit a tree. The tree was split in half by the immense power. Ten had been knocked down and it was closing in for the kill. Suddenly a large metal object slammed into the Jariten 6000s face. It was Kintaros ax. Kintaro said "Ten get outta here! I'm going to take him on myself!" Kintaro struck a dramatic poze and said
" You think you can come down here and replace my freind eh? Well first you'll have to go through Robot hunter Kintaro!" The Jariten 6000 rubbed a breatch in it's synthetic skin on it's cheek that exposed metal. It said "Your quite strong for a child. However your far from being my equal. I suggest you quit while your ahead." It began to power up it's fist again. and it took a swing at Kintaro who jumped out of the way. It's fist hit a boulder splintering it into dust. Kintaro jumped into the air and brought his ax down on the fake Ten who caught the balde in one hand and flung Kintaro about 20 feet. It broke the blade of his ax in half. The Jariten 6000 walked over survetying the surrounding looking for him. Then a very large rock about the size of Ten landed on it's head. Kintaro jumped down and started punching the Jareten 6000 in it's face. It caught one of his fists dislocating his shoulder. The Jareten 6000 grabbed Kintaro by his throat and lifted him off the ground propping him up on the side of a tree. Energy began to gather around his free fist as he prepared to smash Kintaro into the tree. Suddenly a large bear tackled the Jariten 6000.
Dr Ginkobot was in his lab. He was alone and he took off his wig. Underneath was a strange looking horn it was shaped like the creast of a moon. Dr Ginkobot said "Soon maybe I can take back planet oni that was stolen from my kind along time ago and the Tengu shall rule it once again."
note: as you may know an oni was origenaly a demon from Japanese folklore but it was used in Rumiko Takashis story as an alien race. A Tengu is another type of demon from Japanese mythology who has wings.

The UNO took off into the sky, and headed into space, where it immediately initiated a sub-space jump.
"It will take us at least 10 minutes to reach the coordinates, considering how we cold-started the engines so fast." Sergei muttered.
"Fine, just get us there."
Over top of the Oni homeworld, out in space, a sub-space vortex appeared, and the Spartacus shot out.
"Haha! Invader is helpless! My revenge is well worth waiting for! Charge all the weapons and bring us in low!"
"Princess, we're gonna rip this ship to pieces if we actually try to commence an attack! We've got zilch left in our auxillary systems, and the backup batteries have barely anything left!"
"I don't care! We must take him out now! Follow my orders!"
Now trailing sparks, the ship began to move towards the planet.
The communications officer of the Body Smasher looked up in alarm. "Sir! Our space monitoring stations report that the Spartacus has entered the system, and is headed our way!"
Invader stood up. "What? Damn! What defenses have we got?"
"Uh.... we've got one missile rack partially operational, aside from that, nothing! We're defenseless!"
"Damn! Ok, load the missile rack and man your stations. If we die on this day, at least we go down fighting!!"
Outside, the various techs and mechanics scattered and ran for cover, while a single small missile rack emerged from the top of the ship's hull and aimed at the sky.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, Zard was walking down a street, searching for Terra. "Man what a mess.. it looks like it stopped for now though.." he muttered to himself. Suddenly he heard a gasp behind him, followed by a "I recognize that voice..."
Zard spun around, only to see Lum standing behind him, growling. Zard held up his hands.
"Hah! Surrender? Not after what you did!!" Lum fired a massive lightning bolt at Zard, sending him smacking against a wall and knocking him out cold. Lum moved in for the kill...

Meanwhile Hudson watched from Mendou Control as the Spartacus left Earth space and disappeared into transwarp.
He smacked the communications board hard, which startled Ryouko. "Hudson Sparrow to Fleet, intercept and protect Invader at all costs."
"Acknowledged, Sparrow. Beginning Transwarp folding...now."
Hudson turned away and rubbed his temples, feeling a headache begin. "I hope to God the fatman's not lying about Terra, I hoped I could find a way to make her see the truth, maybe offer her a new life."
Ryouko nodded quietly and placed her hand on Warren's arm, "You did all you could..."
"Maybe, maybe not." Hudson turned to Ryouko, "Now all I know is that I'm going to have to kill a lot of people who are either trying to right a wrong, or are just being jerked around by some mad scientist I used to only think existed in comic books. Either way I'm killing innocent people in a way, and since last week a whole hell of a lot of blood has gone under the bridge and I'm responsible for a lot of it."

The fleet that's going to Planer Oni to defend Invader is made up of ten heavy battle cruisers, fifty smaller battle ships, and roughly five hundred personal fighters. They are a melange of US-Earth/Oni technology.

The dim white tunnel of sub-space suddenly exploded into a mass of stars as the Under New ownership emerged.
"Sir, I've got a lock on the Spartacus, but it looks like she's already begun her attack!"
"Damn! Engage full thrusters, we've got to catch her!"
"The jump meter is ramping up.."
Suddenly a mass of other ships emerged behind the UNO.
"This is Commander Beckett, leader of the US Space Navy. We're here to take down Terra and cover Invader."
"Roger that Beckett, we're here for the same reason. Follow us in."
"Roger that."
The fleet moved in on the planet on blaring thrusters. Below, Terra had begun her assault.
Explosions rippled across the hull of the grounded Body Smasher, tearing the single remaining missile turret to pieces before it could fire off one shot. Inside, the officers panicked.
"Sir! We've taken massive damage to all decks! Punctures all over the place! Weapons, comms, and just about everything else are down! We're helpless!"
Invader simply sat in his chair growling while the whole ship exploded around him.
On the Spartacus, Terra laughed, untill her comm unit bleeped.
"Highness! The auxillary systems are overloading! The reactor is going critical! It's gonna bl---"
Explosions were seen on the screen, followed by static. Then the entire bridge went dark as the ship began plummeting.
"Dammit! I'm not stopped yet!"
Terra quickly rushed to her emergency pod at the left side of the bridge, and found Ginkobot waiting inside. "You were expecting this weren't you?"
Ginkobot nodded. "I did all I could, but there was just too much damage."
"Never mind, that doesn't matter now." Terra stabbed a button, closing the hatch and seperating the pod from the ship. She brought it in for a landing on the ground, removed her Desert Eagle, loaded it, and rushed out. Ginkobot simply waited in the pod, fiddling with some experiments of his.
Terra looked around and saw a mass of techs and engineers running from the ship. One of them looked at Terra, then dug into his vest to pull out a gun. Terra simply laughed, took aim, and shot him in the leg. Shoving aside panicked personel, she worked her way onto the ship and began moving to the bridge, blood on her mind.
Up above, as the UNO emerged from the cloud layer and came into view of the surface, Hayes saw three things. For one, he saw the Spartacus go down in flames, impacting some distance away and exploding. Two, he saw a pod land and a familiar green-haired girl rush into the ship. Three, he saw the Body Smasher, which was looking like it was falling apart at the seams.
"UNO to all units. It looks like Terra has boarded the Body Smasher. I'm going in, I suggest the rest of you land and back me up as soon as you can. Sergei, take us in."
"This is suicide! You know what happened last time..."
"Yea but I'm prepared. Lets go."
The Under New Ownership moved in for a landing, while a mass of ships split up and flew on, setting up their own landing zones a small distance away.
Back on Earth, Lum was just about to deliver the killing blow to Zard, when Ataru ran past being chased by angry citizens who, as usual, were blaming their problems on him. Lum unleashed a lightning bolt, only to have it slam into Ataru and the mob, who all collapsed in a heap. Lum just stood there and gaped.
"Oops.."

Terra, snarling, finally reached the door marked "Bridge", after circumventing the many sealed off decks. She checked the ammo in her Desert Eagle, then holstered it, removed her sword, and decloaked it. She took a breath, and yelling, she plunged the sword into the door, then yanked it up, ripping the door off of it's bracings. Invader and the rest of the bridge crew turned around to see what the ruckus was. The navigation officer got up and moved to intercept Terra, only to painfully die as Terra shoved her sword into his chest. She yanked it out of his corpse and turned to the rest of the group. Invader grumbled.
"So, we finally meet Invader. It's rather a pity that I'll be walking home tonight with your head on a stick, it's been one hell of a long 3 years, just to end so easily..."
"You'd be a fool to think you're winning this day Terra."
"Hah, some words from a guy who's about to have his head chopped off! But enough talk, prepare to die!"
Terra held her sword high above her head. Suddenly the other door to the bridge was blown open, and Captain Hayes and Sergei stepped through, both aiming their guns at Terra.
"Dammit Hayes! Didn't you ever learn to take 'No' for an answer?"
"Afraid not Terra. Now, if you'll drop the sword and come with me..."
Terra scowled and quickly pulled out her Desert Eagle, and aimed it at Hayes' head. A loud bang was heard on the bridge.
Terra screamed out in pain and crouched down, trying to stop the blood pouring out of her leg.
"I'm serious Terra. Drop it now and surrender."
"Go to hell Hayes!!!!!" she screamed, whipping out a knife and tossing it at Hayes. He doged to the side, but the knife caught his hand, pinning it to the bulkhead behind him. Sergei took aim and fired, but Terra jumped back behind what was left of the door. Invader stood. "Enough!" he bellowed. "Terra, you will surrender now and stop this endless killing!!"
"Shove it old man!" She rolled out into the open again, and flung her sword at Invader, catching him in the ribs. He scowled and crouched down, groaning in pain. Terra rolled behind cover again as Sergei fired a few more shots at her.
As she was peeking around Invader's chair, trying to get a shot, she suddenly heard a loud crash behind her. She whirled around and saw a massive squadron of troops quickly rushing to the bridge. She cussed loudly and backed up to the forward area of the bridge, grabbed Invader by the neck and pointed her Desert Eagle at his head.
"Make one step closer and I'll kill him!!"
Hayes growled in pain as Sergei finally removed the knife from his hand. Rubbing it, he glanced at Terra. "I believe that was your intent from the start, wasn't it?"
"I'm not kidding around Hayes!" She moved the gun forward slightly and fired it off in front of Invader's face. Everyone on the bridge flinched.
A small disturbance was seen behind the mass of troops, and a middle-aged man in a blue uniform stepped forward.
"Terra, there is something you must know, about your history..."
"There's nothing to say about my history! Invader has to die for killing Carl!!"
"Terra, Carl is fictional. A figment of your imagination if you will. Ginkobot is using you."
"HAH! You expect me to believe that?"
The man removed a small device from his pocket, and pointed it towards the middle of the bridge, where it showed a small projection. He hit a button on the device, and said "Many brave souls died getting this so as you would know the truth."
*CLASSIFIED: LEVEL PHI. TOP-SECRET CAMERA RECORDINGS AND LOGS. DOCTOR GINKOBOT. SUBJECT: EXPERIMENT 23-A. THE CYGNI PROJECT.*
A small lab appeared, dark, with tubes and cryogenic pods hanging all over the place. An odd looking specimen that resembled a mass of tentacles and muscles was inside of one of the pods. A young man in a white lab coat walked in front of the screen.
"Log entry, Cygni Project, #02. Initial reports are favorable.. it would appear that my specimen has reacted to the girl's DNA in a rather unique way.. I believe it may be possible to copy the power. The EKA output shows a high level of andrenaline in the specimen, which is rather odd.. there also seems to be some form of intelligence inside of it.. I shall have to examine this more closely."
Static appeared on the screen for a moment, then the lab was shown again, but the specimen had changed to a small girl. The man in the lab coat, who was now identified as Dr. Ginkobot, walked in front of the camera again.
"Log entry, Cygni Project, #21. I have managed to sucessfully integrate all of Lum's natural attributes into the specimen's systems. While her powers are extremely difficult to copy, as I was forced to change her DNA encoding to even get a glimpse of the technical details, I may have managed to slightly replicate the lightning shooting ability. There seems to be a problem with keeping the charge capacitated, as it is charged at a sub-zero temperature which is difficult to maintain, but perhaps an ice ability will function..."
The display fuzzed with static a moment, then the view was seen yet again, but the specimen in the pod was now older and resembled Terra in a small sense.
"Log entry, Cygni Project, #57. Success! I have managed to replicate Lum's horns and install them on the specimen. 'She' continues to mature, growing at a rapid pace. I have finished my work with Lum, gotten all the information I need out of her, so tomorrow I shall be wiping her memory of this incident and sending her back to Invader, whom I'm more than certain will be happy for her 'safe' return. Meanwhile, I have taken some genetic samples from some of the best tactical minds and strong figures in the Oni army and installed them into the specimen. If this succeeds, I may have the most powerful weapon I have ever created, then maybe I can put some of my more ambitious plans into effect.."
As static filled the screen once again, a figure that now looked exactly like Terra was seen in the pod.
"Log entry, Cygni Project, #91. I've done as much work on the specimen as I could, and I believe she may be ready for first contact. I am now going to bring her to life, and see what happens."
Terra, who was already gaping in shock at the display, watched the display as Ginkobot hit a few buttons on a nearby console. The pod opened, and a few sparks were seen as electricity was pumped into the specimen. The specimen then opened it's eyes, and looked around, with a surprised look on it's face. Ginkobot walked over.
"Welcome. My name is Doctor Ginkobot, and I am responsible for bringing you to life."
"Who... am... I?" the specimen said.
"That is a good question. How would the name.... Terra sound?"
The projection fuzzed out. Terra gasped, and a loud clang was heard as her weapon hit the floor. Invader, who was now unconsious, hit the floor with a thud, and medics rushed in to take him away. Terra held her head, tears filling her eyes.
"No.. can't.. be true..."
"It is. Come on Terra, let's.."
"NO! It can't be!!!" Lightning suddenly began flying around Terra's head, and she screamed. She sank to her knees, mumbling "No.. it can't be true.." over and over. The lightning flashed again, and she screamed and passed out.
When she came to, she found herself in a dark room, sitting at a desk. She noted that she wasn't bound to anything, which was odd considering how all of her other interrogations had gone on the rare occasion she was captured, then reflected on what she had seen a short time ago.
A door opened, casting a small amount of light on the room, then shut again. A figured walked over to the other side of the desk, sat down, and switched on a small light. Hudson's face could be seen.
"Now Terra, are you willing to listen to us?"

^_^ Yeah that's correct. It's still running on the old server http://www.lum.hastec.nl . But it will migrate this or next week to the server of the space-provider who offered us unlimited disc-space and unlimited traffic (wow!!).
All other scripts are already migrated but not activated yet. As soon as all scripts are activated testing will begin and if everything works great all the messages of this board will be moved to the new server YAY!
Then the loading would me less than 2 or 3 seconds at this page (estimated ofcourse)

Dr Ginkobot watching this elsewhere said "Oh well nows as good a time as any." he removed his wig exposing his horns and two large wings burst open tearing his shirt apart. He sat down on a special chair and five oni horns were installed into his head. Ginko bot laughed and glowing blue vains bulged all over his body. "I may be in this alone but I wont go down easy."

A mack truck was driving along when it hit something. It stoped. The man inside got out to see a green haired boy with half a robot face exposed "Get out!" he said and flung the driver out of the truck. The fake Ten started to drive toward Mendo manshion.

Terra blinked, felt a stray tear fall from her left eye. "I..I...I" she broke off, glaring at Hudson then wiping her eyes with the back of her hand.
She removed her hand to find Hudson holding a box of tissues in hand and a small glass of liquid in another. Hudson set both items down on the table, "Kentucky bourbon," he indicated the glass, "it'll calm you down."
After Terra wiped her eyes, blew her nose, and cautiously took a sip of the bourbon. Then glared at Hudson, "I suppose I'll drop dead in a minute?"
"No, Terra. I don't consider you my enemy anymore."
Terra didn't seem to believe that, 'time, Warren,' Hudson told himself.
Terra looked around the dark room, "how long have I been out?"
"Three days."
"What of Ginkobot?"
"In Oni custody, I'll be testifying at his trial in a few months," Hudson shrugged.
"And my crew?"
Warren sighed, "we've decided to let those few go back to their homes and families."
Terra looked down at her feet, just plain drained from her ordeals. "Where am I?"
"On Earth, Mendou Mansion...and Terra," she looked up at him, "I found out about what Shutaro Mendou's torture people were going to do before Ginkobot cut the deal for his...sex change cure. I want you to know I did not know about that, nor did Ryouko-sama or Shutaro's parents, he has been punished and his torture specialists dealt with by me. I am truly sorry."
Terra nodded and whispered as more tears flooded her eyes, "I would've been more cruel in his place."
"That doesn't excuse it," Hudson said as he looked straight at her in the dim light, "nor does the fact that it was a matter of life and death when there were other means of interrogation other than burning your skin off."
Terra looked at Hudson, "why are you helping me?"
"Because I want you to make a choice, Terra. What happened to you was not your fault, there will be no charges brought against you. Understandably, you'll have to do a lot of soul searching...as will I."
"You, Hudson?"
Hudson looked away, "my job isn't easy Terra, I've been sending people to their eternal reward since I was your age. I...can't write or face all the families of the slain men and women I've either sent into battle or had blasted out of the stars, water, air, what-have-you. I think I know something about what you're going through. My parents died when I was an infant and I grew up working on my uncle's farm," Hudson's face hardened momentarily, "he was an abusive man, he used me...like Ginkobot used you. Only Ginkobot used you by acting like he was your friend, my uncle used me by theft, work, and humiliating punishments."
Terra sat in stunned silence, after a while she finally spoke, "how did you escape?"
"I couldn't, not until I was old enough. I turned eighteen, war broke out, I enlisted."
She nodded, "what am I to do now? Everything I am is a lie!"
"Yes, but you've been given the chance to make a fresh start. You can be anything you want to be, Terra."
Terra stared at Hudson for a few minutes. "Aren't you going to turn on the lights?"
Hudson chuckled, "sorry, I'm a fan of 40's and 50's film noir."
"What?"
"Uh...I'll tell you later." And with that Hudson pressed a switch near his hand. The lights revealed a nice sitting room and the desk where they were seated was made of finely carved oak. "Ryouko thought it would be more relaxing for you not to wake up in a locked suite."
"That idiot Shutaro's sister?"
Hudson grinned, "yes. Would you like to meet her, she also would like you to make a choice."
Terra thought it over, "all right."
Warren went to the door and opened it, "Ryouko-chan, Terra would like to meet you."
Ryouko came in and took a seat. After exchanging pleasentries and apologies with each other Terra started to understand what Hudson and Ryouko were offering her; a chance to help her build a new life for herself, or allow her to go on her merry way...provided she didn't go back to starting wars.

After Terra finished talking with Ryouko, she found herself alone in the room for a few moments, which she used to reflect on what had happened, and she began considering other avenues of life.
The door creaked open at what seemed to be a pathetic attempt for an unnoticed entrance. Terra looked up.
"Stealth never was your strong point Hayes. How's your hand?"
"Pretty good considering the large hole that was torn into it, your aim is, as usual, deadly.."
As Hayes walked over to the desk and sat down, Sergei came in, muttering. "This is a damn stupid idea, I say we kill her now before she pulls another stunt!"
Hayes gave Sergei a death glare and pulled up another chair. Sergei sighed and sat down.
They stared at each other uncomfortably a moment. Hayes coughed.
"So, you finally came around eh?"
"If you're thinking I surrendered because I had thousands of guns aimed at my face, I can assure you that wasn't the reason. You saw what happened on there.." Terra turned away, embarassed at her weakness on that day.
"Well, I'm glad we're not at each others throats anymore..." Hayes said, rubbing his bandaged hand. "It was becoming rather unhealthy..."
Terra laughed. "Heh, well I always told you I'd kick your ass if you slacked off.. but yea, being able to move around without wondering what the hell you're up to does put my mind at ease..."
Sergei glared at Terra. It was seen in his eyes that if Hayes wasn't there he would be taking extreme pleasure at unloading the ammo from his pistol into Terra's body. He simply sat there with a scowl on his face.
"Charming, as always." Terra looked him in the eye, smiling.
Sergei growled, stood up, and stormed out the door, closing it behind him with a slam.
"I never really liked him in the first place.." Terra sighed.
"Ah, don't mind him. 3 years of straight war has had it's toll on him.. can't really blame him. Anyways, I guess I should go give my usual 'What the hell were you thinking' chat.. gotta find some way to maintain my superiour figure. Just wanted to check in and see how you were doing, I'll cya around, you got my number." Hayes stood to leave.
"Hayes."
"Yea?"
"Take care. I mean it."
"I ain't dead yet!" Hayes chuckled and left the room. Terra noticed a small object on the desk where Hayes was sitting. She picked it up and read the note sticking to it.
"Here's something if you ever need to vent..managed to record this during one of our more unsucessful missions... hopefully it'll keep your mind off of things like mass destruction for awhile."
Curious, she picked up the device and pressed the button. A holographic image of Sergei appeared, showing him begging for his life.
Hayes walked down the hallway of the Mendou mansion, and smiled as intense laughing was heard behind him that didn't let up for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, deep in his hidden lab at the far end of the galaxy, the true form of Ginkobot chuckled as it prepared another specimen.
"Thissss one will better..." Ginkobot hissed. "Thisss one won't have any weaknessssessss..."
Down in town, which had somehow rebuilt itself overnight, Zard groaned and stood up, and noticed two things. One, that he was still alive, and two, that there was nobody in his immediate vicinity.
Getting up, he walked down the street, and hear bickering ahead. Leaning around a corner, he noticed Shinobu chasing Ataru around, once again, while Lum looked on in disgust, with her back turned to him.
Zard took a deep breath. "I must be either insane or suicidal, but I've got to try." he said to himself. Walking forward, he touched Lum on the shoulder, who turned around and gasped, then scowled.
"ARGH! You again! I thought I had you last time!!"
"Lum.."
"WHAT?"
"I'm not here to fight..."
Lum's face softened slightly, but she was still angry. Behind her, Ataru and Shinobu had stopped and came over behind her to watch.
"Go on."
"I was sent as part of a force to... assasinate you. But when things started to go to hell, I decided to stop fighting... now I just want to live in peace. I came to you because I didn't want to maintain any bad relations between us."
Lum nodded. "Well, I'm glad that's out of the way then.. but wait, if you were in that big robot... weren't you the one who tried to hurt darling?" Lum looked annoyed.
Zard rubbed his hair. "Well.. uhh.. heh, he was kind of.. just.. in the.. way.. or.. something.."
Lum snarled, and lightning was seen going around her hands. Zard screamed and took off down the street, with Lum in hot pursuit. Zard painfully noted from the lightning zaps that managed to hit him that Lum wasn't really trying to kill him... at least he had managed to make some progress. Shinobu looked on in worry. Ataru laughed.
"Heh, well, it looks like I found a new distraction for Lum...."
Shinobu grabbed Ataru's arm and they walked off together.
Meanwhile, at the Mendou mansion front gates, a guard looked on in worry as he saw a truck approach at an insane speed through his binoculars. He screamed and dove out of the way as the truck smashed through the gates and worked it's way through the main compound itself.
In front of the mansion, Terra was emerging from the building with Hudson and Ryouko, and was waving goodbye to Hayes and Sergei (much to his disgust) as they boarded the Under New Ownership, preparing to leave.
Suddenly they heard a scream, and watched in horror as a massive truck burst through the gates and came right for them. Shoving Hudson aside, she found to her delight that her sword was still with her. Pulling it out, she screamed a war cry and rushed towards the truck. Leaping at the last possible second, she pointed the sword downwards and tore the truck in half, landing gracefully behind it. The two pieces split, then slowed down and harmlessly stopped in front of the mansion, smoking. A very annoyed Jeriten 6000, which now had all of it's synthetic skin torn off, rose above the compound and looked for the source of it's trouble, upon spotting Terra, it aimed a large rifle at her face. Terra looked stunned.
"Wait, wasn't that Ginkobot's invention? He must have set up a few plans in-case I was to become useless to him... but.."
Suddenly a bang was heard, and the cyborg-baby tilted as multiple bullets impacted against it's rear. One of them finally punctured it's armour, lodging itself deep within it's generator. The Jeriten 6000 emitted a kind of high-pitched scream, then fell to the ground, where it promptly exploded.
Hudson brushed off the shrapnel and grinned, patting his gun. "I've been looking for a good reason to use this thing for a long time..." Terra looked over and smiled.
As the UNO departed, Terra heard another scream, and turning around, saw Zard, being chased by Lum, running towards the mansion.
Terra simply stood there out in the open, with a neutral face, untill Zard, who was looking over his shoulder, tripped over a small twig and looked up at her feet.
At first, seeing tiger-skinned boots in his face, he cringed thinking it was Lum. Looking up, he then noticed the Shaithan insignia.. he gathered himself, stood up, and gawked.
"T-T-T-T-Ter-"
Terra gave him a death glare for a few moments, building up suspense. When she saw Lum approaching the mansion a distance away, she summoned up her best command voice and said "Well Zard what the hell are you standing around here for with your jaw on the floor? Get a move on, she's catching up damnit!"
Zard's jaw seem to drop even further, before he turned and took off. Terra watched intently as Lum drew closer to the compound. "This is it.." she thought to herself. "Any second now.. this will prove most interesting.."
Right on cue, Lum stopped chasing Zard long enough to notice Terra. She gasped and landed. Terra simply stood and looked at Lum, who's eyes went wide in recognition, then lowered into anger.
"You're..."
"Terra, yea. Ex-leader of the Shaithan rebellion."
"Ex? But.."
"Yea that's right." Terra checked her hip-pouch, and sure enough she had a massive sum of yen she had collected over the years sitting there, waiting to be spent. She smiled.
"Come on Lum, lets go grab something to eat, my treat, and I'll explain it all."
Confused, Lum just nodded, and the 2 began to walk towards the gate. Suddenly Zard was seen tearing across the compound. Terra quickly rose her finger and fired a swift ice-bolt at him, freezing him in his tracks. Lum gawked.
"I said I'll explain it over lunch. Now come on, lets go. He won't be going anywhere, and I figured he needed to cool off anyways."
Laughing, the 2 walked into town, while Hudson and Ryouki watched the proceedings from the front doors of the mansion.
Hudson smiled. "Well, despite the hell this past month has been, I'm actually feeling good for once!"
"As am I. We have done quite a bit of good here..what say we have some lunch of our own, shall we?"
"Sounds like a plan to me, I'm starving!" The two walked inside, and the doors closed.
The month of August had ended, and brought many good things. While Ginkobot remained at large, he wasn't going to be bothering anybody for a few months, possibly years. As usual, the governement of the USA simply covered up the entire incident to the uninformed public as an "Unexplained phenomena".
Lum and Ataru lived out their daily lives. Terra tried her hand at many careers, including assisting Sakura as school nurse, which failed miserably, as the students, who mistook her for Lum, doubled their injuries, and also due to the fact that she was "too aggressive" from Sakura's point of view. She eventually settled upon becoming a cook, making, as most customers in Tomobiki put it, "the best damn food on the entire planet!"

Sergei retired almost as soon as he could, quoting to asking onlookers (in regards to Hayes) as "Damn stupid kid, going to get us killed!" He then seemed to vanish from the universe, as most people were never able to get ahold of him again after that.
Zard never got a chance to settle down with Shinobu, as he accidentally ended up winning the World Olympics with Lum's unwanted help.. she spent an entire month tirelessly chasing him around the planet.
Invader's ship the Body Smasher, was rebuilt within a few months and put into service again. Invader is still holding the Oni throne, and for some odd reason, never seemed to age a day.

I think it's about time we ended this bad boy, been going on for quite some time. Hope you guys don't mind me ending it, but we were getting close anyways, sooo.. >)
I'd like to thank everyone for contributing to this, and while it sure didn't turn out as I expected (it kinda took off into a more "tense" direction) it was great to do. For the next one I'll try and concentrate on humor a bit more, but it was a lot of fun working with you guys to bring this up.
Jocko, like I said above, I really enjoyed your introduction of Hudson, I found him to be a rather funny and witty character ("Cut me in two? Hoho!" was pretty funny) and you did a good job with him.
And BladeofKintaro, while your spelling could use a bit of work, you did a good job at keeping us on track and reminding me in your posts not to take this too seriously. You did a good job getting us all started off as well, nice one!
And of course special thanks to Lum-Chan for bringing this forum up and giving me a great reason to spend hours sitting here smacking refresh on my browser, waiting for another post.
