many times before I've seen on the internet hatsune miku's image plastered on a car. but I never imagined her being part of a campaign for promoting a car

To tell you the truth, I have never been a fan of Vocaloid (I think she is over-estimated several times) and it has always amazed me the amount of attention that Miku receives all over the planet but if people do enjoy playing her games (with moderation) then I will respect that

My feelings are also mixed because it might not appeal to me but it sure does work great to get many people united or something like that

My objections are (a) the commercialization of Miku (something that has been absent from her -- and from Vocaloid -- so far) and (b) a Corolla?????

(beyond these complaints, I am a fan of Vocaloid 8D )

Well, I agree that Miku is overrated, but you know she's not the only vocaloid. There's at least 20 with new ones coming out all the time. Also, Vocaloid is a software, not a game. You use it to create songs.

I used to not be a Vocaloid fan, but after I made a song on it I got to like it much more. I began to appreciate the work people put into the songs  and everything and it gives people who aren't good singers to give their music to the world.

I do think it's crazy how popular Miku has gotten though, being in commercials and everything.
