The embed codes for the images works, why the code for YouTube doesn't?

I'd say a public discord server is the way to go now rather than try to host a live chat ourselves.

What about an IRC chat? Seems like IRC is eternal, as it's survived multiple decades of communication changes and is still in use today. Granted, Discord did take some steam out of it, but I find you can't go wrong with a Forum + IRC chat combo - Moroboshi-kun is right that a Discord could potentially kill the forum, but an IRC chat would simply exist alongside it.

I second this. Maybe some chat like chatango or any other that can be integrated on the sidebar of the website? On the limit IRC is also not a bad ideia as KasugaKyosuke15 suggested.
