Hello my name is Carlos. Im getting married to my Fiancee on October 26. But the problemis that the theme is UY and i need any fresh ideas will be great. Thanks for all the help.

Finally i know my life's purpose has arrived (nah,i am joking ;D)
It is pretty good that you are getting married,themexican,and to know you and yer fiancee want to give it an UY style,a dream come true for some lumaholics
Here are some suggestions:
- Ask yer lady to dye her hair using green color,you can use brown
- Examine some of UY weddings for ideas
- Try to get married using Cosplay (i am gonna leave pics 4 ideas)
- Try using some UY songs when the time for the dance arrives,amigo
- Prepare some food based on some of UY aspects (dont ask lum 2 cook >:) )
- How about both of you call yerselves darling as lum does?
I wish i could say more but i am still single,my soon-to-be-married friend,how about i make a special fanfic regarding yer wedding? I can post it in Deathmatch II or Nightmare Battle topics

well my first idea was just as they get to the alter he turns around and runs out of the chapel yelling " i dont"
i cant agree with the green hair idea cosmic, doesnt look the same, kinda looks bad, the uy music and calling you darling are good ideas though
but that would ruin the wedding so here are my ideas
-spicy food(some really spicy food can help the mood)
-some miniture explosions(definately uy)
-maybe the bride can get drunk( >:) always fun)
-an electricity show
-spirits, demons, etc.
-most importantly a yellow/black stripe theme

Quite good selection(although she calling him darling will be natural as they will be married anyways),Forgotten,only one problem : how are we gonna get demons and spirits to their wedding?
Anyways,whatever you decide to use,use it proudly as you are about to make a pact of love while honoring one of the best animes ever,themexican ;D

I may not know as much about weddings but heres a few random suggestions that I came up with
try to use Stars as a theme
try not to exaggerate the UY theme (it will look like a party for a 7 year old)
In the party put a Lum ice sculpture for the punch
for the cake make mendo's giant cake (not the size) and put ataru and lum doll on the top
for your best man, use onsen's hot bath symbol or shutaro's octi insignia on the back of his coat for the priest use cherry's clothing
use the tigger stripped rings as the ones in the 1st movie
you could use rei's line "would you cook for me for the rest your life?"
use Leugenvileas (the ones that spread rumors) as a flower decoration
use food that resembles Lum's star-shaped chips (or what ever it was)
As the guest list use something that resembles as ataru's address and phone number notebook

Well, UY themed marriege???
Nice... I would take Janus ideas into consideration if I did such thing... I like the idea of using Rei's line... "Would you cook for me for the rest of your life?"
I just hope they have a good sence of humor... :-\

That line would be a bad idea, since he'll be playing Ataru and not Rei (I don't really see Lum marrying Rei...).
Here's a few things you could do:
-Ask the priest to wedding the wedding with "T'is fate" like Cherry
-Ask for a short bald priest.
-Ask someone to take a fake sword with them and you can stop it with your hands in front of the crowd.
-Accept (unlike the real Ataru has done so far. :P)
I can't tell you quite well what to do, but let me tell you what NOT to do:
-Don't run after all the other women in the wedding.
-Don't ask your wife to wear a bikini like Lum.
-Don't abuse on the spiciness of the food.
One more thing. You are the luckiest guy on Earth to have a UY-themed wedding. *Jealous*

UY themed wedding... so what's the problem of saying Rei line???

Lum would naturally marry Ataru, but Rei sais that....
Maybe I'm just picky with the details. :P

Yes... Just keep in mind that its not Lum and Ataru thats going to get married... LoL

But they should cosplay Ataru and Lum. :-\
And have Mendo, Shinobu, Megane, etc... as guests, but that would be asking too much.
When are we getting our invitations? :P

Aye,Tecas prince,but one trustworthy source has provided me info that the wedding wont be in the America continent but it in the country of the rising sun,it will be in Japan
Now that helps a lot if they want it UY style 8)

At least around here, it's so hard finding a good anime store (maybe Falling can tell me of one, cos I haven't seen one yet...).
