What are the first anime of the new century? Ie, from 2000 to present.
-
When did UruseiNeo and daniel(bunch of numbers I don't remember) turn into the same person?
-
You're off topic :p
-
You're wrong UruseiNeo, XXI century is from 2001 to 2100.
-
InuYasha!!!
-

yeah, well, 2009 to 2100 hasn't happened yet so I said to 2008 :p
I believe InuKami is one too?
-
Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden? =S

I think her point was that you included 2000, which is technically the last year of the 20th century.
Back on topic:
To Love Ru (although I haven't seen the anime yet, I can never seem to find it, though I know it's been on the air in Japan since April of 2008)
Here are some other good ones:
Aa! Megami-Sama and Sorezore no Tsubasa
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Rozen Maiden and Traumend
Furi Kuri
Love Hina
Hellsing
.hack//Sign
Chobits
Saikano
Witch Hunter Robin
Full Metal Panic!
Ai Yori Aoshi
Fullmetal Alchemist
DearS
Desert Punk
Tsukuyomi -Moon Phase-
Negima! Magister Magi and Negima!?
Tsubasa Chronicle

This Ugly Yet Beautiful World
I almost shudder to recommend these, but I have to:
Naruto and Shippuden
Bleach
Inuyasha
And the best anime ever:
Elfin Lied
You can also look through these wikipedia categories. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Anime_of_the_2000s)

what was wrong with bleach? 0.0
and InuYasha was already said.
-
So was Naruto, what's your point? I wanted to make a single, complete, list of anything worth mentioning.
Bleach is alright. Personally, I won't watch the anime. The manga is bad enough about stretching a single fight over several chapters, I can't imagine that the anime would be any better about it. Naruto is the same way.

Knock yourself out sidzero. xD
And there are two "new" episodes from Ah My Goddess called Fighting Wings, though I haven't found them downstream yet, not that I've exactly looked yet... >_>
-
Dragonball Z has long fights too... But I get what you mean.
It's pretty annoying when fights last a bunch of episodes that make it seem like the fight's being going on for about 5 episodes.
-
Very nice. I know what I'll be doing until tomorrow or the day after now.
Dragonball Z really only did it in the anime, it wasn't anywhere near as bad in the manga, but for some strange reason, I like the anime better than the manga (and it's probably the only anime I can think of where that is the case). DBZ is what made that crap popular though.
Personallly, I think it's laziness on the part of the writers. Like they tell themselves "oh, I can't think of anywhere to take the story yet, so I'll just stretch out the fight cause I'm too lazy to do my job and come up with the rest of the story." Irritates the hell out of me.
-
Wasn't DBZ the origin of the Anime Law's thing?! XD
Anyway... I think the link Sidzero gave covers everything you need to know... about 21st century Anime...
But for example there are animes (recent) that still go for the old style aspect of anime... and mix it with with the new style (CGI) I like this type a lot... expecialy if it involves Mecha... LoL
Ex: Linebarrels of Iron... The manga and anime are almost the same drawing style... execpt for the robot fights and such... LoL

I just realized I left one off the list that I saw a year or two back that was really good.
This Ugly Yet Beautiful World
I'm sure there are other good ones I've forgotten, but I just remembered that one, and I really liked it, so I had to add it.

So what if I have many tastes? xD
And it's not like I've watch them yet, I simply plan to watch them, as soon as I have the time. :P
By the way, anyone know some good sites to watch anime online?
Besides the usual youtube and veoh, all I know is crunchyroll, animefuel, animecrazy and narutowire.
If anyone knows more, please let me know. ;D
-
Dedicated just to anime... I just know the same as you... but try Megavideo...
-
someone told me about "azntv.com" I plan on checking it out soon.
-
I checked it out, it seems you have to donate to watch most of their animes. And you have to download something to your computer (as well as do a load of things if you're on Vista, like I am :P), so I'm not sure it's worth it. :S
Still thanks for the info. ;D

I know animecrunch
It's a site pretty cool to watch Anime and chat with other Otakus. ^^
