Just last week I played through the 1st Portal game that I got via steam and I absolutely loved it. Portal 2 is on my must-buy list, I'm really inclined in buying the PC version since the mouse pointing is very accurate, but the PS3 version can be played on a larger screen on my couch.
I'm itching to buy it, but not this month, I have many things to do ;D
here is a fanmade video I found

I've played both Portal and Portal 2 on my PS3 rather than on the PC. It's a great game and even my wife who is probably the worlds worst gamer really enjoyed it especially the Portal 2 Co-op. We just played locally not on Steam. Way more fun on a big screen TV.
They are great games, now if only they'd release Half Life 3 or another Half Life 2 Chapter!

I have Portal 2 on PC. I would Co-op but my computer has lag problems. I'm looking to build a better gaming computer soon.

Can PS3 play with PC?
I'm not sure what you mean by that question but PS3 games cannot be played on a PC and PC games cannot be played on a PS3.
If you mean can a PS3 play on Steam, I believe it can, because it allows a Steam overlay on the PS3 version. But I don't use Steam, so
I'm not 100% certain.

What is your PS ID?

Like I mentioned the month last month was hectic but I finally got the chance to buy the game. I finally decided on the PS3 version and I'm really glad I did. inside the box of the PS3 game there was a code so you could download the PC version on Steam, but before I had to sync my psn ID with my steam account meaning that it is possible to play cross-platform co-op as long as everyone has a steam account. ah yes, and my PSN ID for my US account is JimA90
