Title: Ningyo no Mori (人魚の森)

So I started reading another old Takahashi Rumiko manga and it's called Ningyo no Mori (Mermaid Forest).
I was wondering if anybody else has read it and what your thoughts on it are.

I've only read a couple chapters so far, but it's pretty interesting. It's completely different from other Rumiko works because it's not funny at all and is actually quite dark and creepy. The story is keeping me interested and the art of course is good (would expect no less from Rumiko xP).

I heard about Ningyo no Mori (Mermaid Forest) (and I have two OVAs on japanese Laserdisc), but i haven't start to watch or read yet.
