I can think of a few things that point to either, what're
your opinions? Aside from that, which do you prefer?

I didn't know that, I guess that settles it :) I only knew her name was
based off of that Agnes Lum. Still, it seems the call was left up to the
companies that licensed it, it's spelled Lamu in the french version.

I prefer Lamu, you don't get the proper engrish pronunciation when
you read Lum ;D But then I'm biased towards anything japanese.
