Ok who would win
Shinobu has super streingth and lum has lightning bolts this would be an interesting fight

Lum, most definitely. She has the advantage of flying and pretty much has the advantage of long-range attacks, since Shinobu would probably run out of heavy objects to throw after a while. Still, when Shinobu is in a rage, it would probably take the combined effect of an electric shock and the use of a sub-space hammer from Lum to subdue Shinobu.

I wold say Shinobu could win. Even thoug Lum has her electrical powers, when Lum gets close enough to shinobu, It would be all over. But of course, Jariten might include himself in the fight and make things worse. Still I think Shinobu has enough fight in her to take both of them down. However, at the last second, Jariten or Lum might just stoop low enough to cause her to forfit for her own concerns. I would not say that Jariten or Lum will cheat, but if they feel very threatened or overly-determined to win, I would say that there is a good chance of it. :|. Good luck to both sides only if it would be a fair fight ;).

But if she stays away Shinobu would never hit her.
But why would they fight anyway? Shinobu doesn't even like Ataru anymore. The figh wouldn't have any sence.

Well, why don't you try yourself? :)
In "UY - Dear my friends", old MEGA-CD game, is included a beat'em up mini-game... you can choose Lum, Shinobu, Ryu-chan and maybe Benten (but i'm not sure about her... :?) and it's possible to engage even mirror matches!!! :*)

It depends on the way they draw her!! :)
In "Pool Spooks! Burning with Forbidden Love" Shinobu too is a real beauty, and there are other episodes with a good design... :P
Quite obviously, in those episodes Lum is even better than usual too, so she is still the greatest!!! :D

i think that a lot of the characters from UY might get involved and it'll be like this huge brawl ^^;

putting fighting aside I would rather have shinobu as a gf than lum in the beggining but later on I'd pick lum. No shinobu isn't as cute as lum but she is pretty cute although other shinobus in other animes (love hina and 2x2 shinobuden) recently are cuter lol.

And in the series "Haikarasan ga Tooru" there is another man named Shinobu...quite feminine, but he was a man for sure!!

Don't underestimate the desk-launching ability of Shinobu, she is very powerful and must have a great control while throwing those things ... and "Power is nothing without control" !!! :D) :D)

yeah you may be right... but lum has control of her electric powers when she wants to catch ataru...
He even begs for mercy in some episodes... carefull with her..

In the beginning Ataru is quite frightened by Lum's shocks but in the later episodes he has developed abilities similar to ninja's skills; he can stay attached to ceilings, grabs Mendou's katana with bare hands, hides himself in crazy places, runs at incredible speed, avoids a lot of attacks (but not all of them...) and shows no fear for any kind of danger, especially when it concerns girls!!! Â :D
About the strenght and power of Lum and the other girls, once they had to test those skills on the ring against a team of savage beasts, and even Ran won the fight...in her special way!! :D)
Every beauty in the series is dangerous, one way or another!! >:)

As for the battle between Shinobu and Lum...I'd think it'd be a stalemate, for Lum attacking at a distance has it's disadvantages, mainly she'd give Shinobu time to dodge, but Shinobu can't attack Lum if she can fly as high as the stratosphere, I guess it'd boil down to whether Lum was mad enough to want a close-range battle but I doubt the two would have a reason to have it out on the ladder half of the series...I''m not helping this debate am I

Well, Lum's strenght is very low, and she knows this very well after the fight with Soban!!
But in that fight she wasn't using electric powers, so in a close-range combat she could easily fry her opponent!!
Both of them have heavy long-distance attacks and lethal hand to hand moves, the fastest could win in a blow!!!

You could say that Shinobu is a bit of a slut for her easy change in heart, anyway i give my vote to shinobu, one desk and lum would be out like a light, just look at what happen when ataru threw a rice cooker

That depends on the situation. If the desk hitted Ataru, then Lum would probably get too angry for Shinobu to handle.

Pehaps the lum/shinobu feud didnt live long enough (it ended 4 good when mendo appeared) but still one of the best cat fights ever on anime >:)
