Need I say more?
-
don't get it...
-
I don't think you're old enough to quite get the awesomeness of the Bad Dudes.
-
Old enough? dude, I'm a week away from being 18.
"The president has been kidnapped by NINJAS" is so random...
-
I gave the hint, now I'm going to give it direct. Go play "Bad Dudes" for the NES (or an NES emulator) and you will understand.
It's one of the coolest lines from a video game that is not Duke Nukem ever.
-
NES, I see... what's it about? =3
-
Um... the president was kidnapped by ninjas, and you have to be a bad enough dude to rescue him.
Over the course of this thread, you have managed to completely kill the humor in it. }:|
Kids these days, I swear...
-
quit looking down on me, I'm not a damn kid, geez... you have no respect for other people
-
You need to quit getting upset over everything.
I don't do things to disrespect you, I do them because they're funny. Lighten up my friend. Life's a joke, learn to laugh at it.
-
... you say that as if I'm some melancholic person.
There's a little thing in the universe called... wait for it... "balance"
Ying Yang, good bad, right and wrong. Everything needs to be balanced. Something I think some people need to learn.
-
Hmm... Well... the only balanced thing there is Ying and Yang... that "neutralise" each other...
But what I want to say is... that life isn't just "Good and Evil/Bad", Black and White... there's a lot of gray... and I like to stay in that gray area... me and most of the rest of the world...
Don't take things too seriously...
-
that's why i got my siggy in this forum... :P
shame i can't follow them all xD

that "gray" is a production of the balance between black and white ^_^
and I'm not taking things too seriously, that's just how the universe works.
-
You may think you're balanced, but I see a lot more yin than yang. You're a pessimist, it's ok. I used to be one too. Then I got over myself.
While I'm on the subject of criticizing you, I want to ask... have you ever heard of netiquette? One of the unwritten rules is that if you don't have anything to contribute to a conversation, then stay out of it. Posting things such as "I don't get it" or "I'm not going to read that" (just two recent examples) are considered rude.
Look at what's become of my thread. It was meant to be lighthearted and funny. Now it's become a serious conversation about the shades of grey the world is made of. I mean what the hell? Can't we all just get a b... I mean along?
Besides, it's me that the world is out to get, not you. :)
-
*sigh* I'm no pessimist... I actually like my life how it is, thank you very much.
-
You don't have to dislike your life to be a pessimist. A pessimist is someone who sees the negative over the positive (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pessimist). I make a joke about you, you take it offensively instead of laughing at it, a sure sign of pessimism. It's an outlook on life, not hating everything, like people seem to think. The glass is half empty and all that.
-
Oh! My glass is half full ^_^ actually I'd like to say 3/4 full but that's not as funny so I stick with 1/2 full ^_^
Also, it didn't sound like you were joking when you said it. That's the problem with posts, you can't really get the tone of the person posting (unless you use emoticons like this: ^_^ or :D)
So back on topic, did I ask where to download the game? If not, where can I download the game?
-

LoL... Serious?!
Btw, my world is more of a light gray... some people call it a dirty white... XD
-
hmmm, I suppose that means your world is more good than evil? That's an understandable opinion.
-
Also, it didn't sound like you were joking when you said it.
Here's a tip: unless my post has an obviously serious tone, I'm joking.
As far as good and evil, there's no such thing. They're just words we made up to make ourselves feel better about the terrible things we do, and to make our enemies seem somehow worse so that we can justify the terrible things we do to them. In reality, even the worst of us do what we do because we feel it's right. Even Hitler thought he was trying to make the world a better place.
-

meh, I was trying using them to emphasize my point ^_^ :D
-
Sidzero is right... and if we look at it... there's always 2 points of view... I don't want to go into history mode... but look at what the American government did to the Japanese citizens living in the USA during WW2...
Japanese, Italian and German...
-
again, I'm not disagreeing with the good/evil thing, I was just using words for emotional effect in my statement ^_^
-
but look at what the American government did to the Japanese citizens living in the USA during WW2...
Or how about the standing order that had been in place for the US Army to exterminate all Native American tribes on sight during the late 1800s. At least the Nazis didn't try killing off ALL the Jews.
-
Well... They did try...
-
Tried, but some of us managed to survive.
Us? Yeah, ok I'm only like... 1/8th, but it's enough to count.
-
At least the Nazis didn't try killing off ALL the Jews.
lol, u sound like you're pro-Hitler ;jking
-
I wouldn't say I'm pro-Hitler. But I think history treats him a whole lot worse than he actually was. Think about it, had they won WW2, he would have been a hero. Instead he's the greatest monster of recent times, and America, despite having a history that puts the Nazis to shame, is the "greatest nation in the world".
-
I think of Hitler as if he was the coach of a football team... He inspires a nation, leads the nation and gives out orders and tactics... but its the players in the field that make it all happen... and sometimes they don't do what the coach asked...
It was in the last months of the war that the nazis started killing the jews in the camps... and many historians say that Hitler wasn't even the one giving those orders... because by that time he was already hidding and suffering with Parkinson...
-
Hitler's an interesting subject, and an even more interesting character... if for nothing more than that everyone has an opinion of him, but hardly anyone really understands him (and those that claim to often get labeled as Neo-Nazis).
But you know, history needs a scapegoat.
