The first half was crazy funny as ataru wore the "haunted" boxing gloves and would punch himself in order not to punch Lum (original anime was ep 116)
The second half was very sweet as we got to revive episode 10 of the original anime, when Ataru had supposedly a date with Kumino Otoko. Here we get probably the first time Ataru actually notices Lum.
Saddly we didn't get to see this:
But it is what it is! :mrgreen:
The overall fast pacing of the anime didn't bother me at first but now It's starting to be noticeable. It still tells the story but at times it feels like a speedrun of the original anime.

Hard to beat an adaptation of "Pitter Patter Christmas Eve"! Even though I still prefer that version, this one was quite sweet and was faithful to the manga.
