thanks to all _/-\o_ _/-\o_
the point is that when she has the colics there is no experience that takes (and there are already 2 sleepless nights! :-\ )
-
When I had 10 years old I had my first and only colics. x_X
I feel really sorry about her and about the rest of the family. I hope she gets better and that you can rest peacefully soon.

I sure admire women who give birth, its a pain that I will never fully understand as a man, but yet so rewarding

I know what you mean. :S
I imagine it as 10 people kicking you in the groin for a minute. It honestly can't be that far off.... OUCH! :S

Yeah. Guys think we're all Rough And Tough ... like we can Take The Pain ... NOT A CHANCE! Imagine pushing a bowling ball through your "jewels" down there, AND imagine having to work at it for hours to get it to happen. Yeah.
Boys? We ain't got NUTHIN' on women for endurance of pain.
ALL HAIL OUR SWEET SUFFERING MOTHERS WHO BORE US IN PAIN AND SWEAT AND BLOOD TO BRING US LIFE.
-
It's not only the birth that hurts. Kicks and punches hurt, too.

You sound like a...woman... xD
And what's with the "boys"? Making us sound like kids... D:
At least say guys or something. :P

I never knew it hurt when the baby punched or kicked. I thought you just felt it. o.o

As a (deep voice + echo) MAN, I'm not afraid to show my sensitive and caring nature. Being exceptionally empathetic is one of my more (deep voice + echo again) MANLY traits. ;D
As for "boys" --- I use that term that self-inclusively; I am one of the boys as well as being ... (deepvoice + echo ad nauseum) ... A MAN! ;D

erm .. eh ... (deep voice again) Yeessss, painful stuff this child-bearing. It takes a MAN to be a woman these days.... :o :P ;D 8)7 8|

It depends on the month. In the beggining of pregnancy "you" just feel the baby (when he is big enough for the mom to know he's moving) but the closer "you" get to the 9th month, the more pain each kick and punch inflicts on "you".
-
Makes sense, and I'm ashamed to admit I never knew that and never thought of that.
