i'm trying to watch more animes while i'm waiting for urusei yatsura's new ova
does anyone know where i can see all of ranma's episodes in japanese with english subtitles and without errors.
i've been watching it thru veoh but after episode 40 (1st of the 3rd season) the sound is delayed so i'm hearing what they said 1 minute ago
-
jack243 uploaded all the ranma episodes on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Jack243&view=videos&start=380
-
thanks uruseineo! that really helped i had searched youtube but i couldn't find a user that had all the eps
-
it's harder when the episodes were uploaded about a year ago, lol.
-
how many episodes and seasons are there in ranma?
-
hmmm... 7 Seasons and... 161 episodes?
-
and that doesn't include the OVAs and the movies, which is what makes old anime hard to find
-
161 episodes, 10 OVAs, 3 specials and 3 movies.
It's a shame thoughm I'm planning on watching this anime too. x.x
-
I saw all Ranma 1/2 on Youtube... I think I just skiped the specials...
-
i'm already on season 6 xD
wasn't there gonna be some new episodes of ranma? weren't they anounced with the new uy ova?
-
Inu Yasha, Ranma 1/2, and UY I believe were all supposed to have a new ova (probably why these specfic three were in the Rumic World 50th Ann. Opening)
-
well i've finished ranma... i'm really sad....
WHY DOES RUMIKO DO ALL THESE ENDINGS WHERE THINGS END EXACTLY AS THEY STARTED!?
i wanted lum and ataru to get married as well as ranma and akane!
now all that's left is the ova's and the movie's
everytime i reach the ending of an anime i get depressed...
-
Tenchi might be a good series for you.
Tenchi Muyo's a little complicated though, pretty much each season is its own plot.
By that, I mean, they way they all meet, the story, its different in each season, but its the same characters.
My suggested order:
Tenchi Muyo (AKA Tenchi OVA 1, 2, and "The Night before the Carnival") (total 13 eps)
Tenchi: Ryu-Ohki (AKA Tenchi OVA 3 and 3 Plus 1) (total 7 eps)
Tenchi GXP (new cast + get to see old characters) (26)
Tenchi Universe (26)
Tenchi in Tokyo (26)
Alien girls that like the main guy character, kinda like Ranma's situation but they are all aliens who live with him. Seems right up your ally.
A few notes, I don't know if that's the correct order, but I do know that the first three ARE chronologically connected but there is one character that does not appear in it that does appear in Universe and In Tokyo.
I also suggest watching "Mihoshi's Special" after those three as the introduce said character in it.
Finally... there are 3 movies, but more importantly, this show featured a spin off called "Magical Girl Pretty Sammy" is is more about the youngest of the alien girls "Sasami"
-
if each season has a plot then it doesn't matter which one i see first right?s
do you know where i can watch those series?
-
youtube and veoh should have them.
The first 3 series are the only ones actually connected chronologically. At the same time, these three don't have that extra character "Kiyone" that Universe and in Tokyo have. Other than that, doesn't really matter what order, no.
"In Tokyo" though, starts off with everyone in the cast present from the beginning and explains how they met in a later episode.

That's exactly how I feel when there aren't romantic endings!!!!! I hate sad endings!!!

Karin ended fairly well

yeah! there should always be a romantic ending or maybe a special episode with a marriage :P
-
I wouldn't mind if there wasn't any marriage or proposal but I do mind if the ending doesn't have romance in it, when it isn't an horror movie, sceries, etc.
Yesterday I watched a movie called "The Son's Room" ("La Stanza Del Figlio" or "O Quarto do Meu Filho") and basically it depicts the psychological effects on a family and their life after the death of a loved one.
The movie ends in a very stupid way. The movie gets addicting (just like Urusei Yatsura) but ends in a very annoying way. It feels like 2 hours of my life were wasted.
Even though UY had a disappointing ending (Ataru and Lum's relationship) it didn't felt (to me) that I wasted all that time watching it.
-
me neither because it leaves room for more but if they're gonna end it they should give it a epic romantic episode

when searching for anime, i found out the three best places (at least now that veoh has gotten so bad) 1.st youtube; has pretty much, mostly dubs though, but it has as said much, and you wont have to wait for a while after watching for example 72 minuts. 2.nd animeon.com; well, it isnt streaming all videos itself, but it has nice links to the vids showing places you wouldnt find by normally searching. 3.rd megavideo.com; ok, this is the absolutely best one, it has almost everything thats out, just try some extra searches if you dont find it, but its one downthing though; after watching 72 minuts video, you will have to wait for 56 minuts:(. Well, most people might not watch an anime for as long as possible, so it might not be a problem for most guys. Hope this was for any help to ya!
ps. myself i watched the ranma episodes from megavideo. It got all episodes with eng sub and high quality. i think its just normal search to like "ranma 1/2 episode 1" or "ranma 1/2 s1 ep 2" etc.
-
i have a few good places too but i usually use narutowire.com
-
i need help AGAIN (sorry)

I HATE ENGLISH DUBBS they sound so STUPID
-

Yesterday I watched a movie called "The Son's Room" ("La Stanza Del Figlio" or "O Quarto do Meu Filho") and basically it depicts the psychological effects on a family and their life after the death of a loved one.
I watched La stanza del figlio (I like Nanni Moretti and his works)... well it's true that is a "brick" (as we say in italy), it's a "heavy" movie... but terribly sad...
The end was horrible, I agree with you...
That little Bi**h.... well that girl at the end was quite annoying... no... I just hate her...
No, now let's just analyze it... Your "Summer boyfriend" has just died.... their parents call you to inform you of the tragic event... and you just shut the phone in their faces.... but later you came to their house by hitchhiking with a boy and you say "he is just a friend of mine... we are hitchhiking together to Paris"...
NO no tell the truth you little wh**e! He is your boyfriend! and you are going to have a pregnancy when you came back home!!
.... God I hate that girl...
But the rest of the film is really tragic... one of the saddest film I've ever seen... it's a little scarying too..
About english dubb.. well.... most of the dubb in ANY language is horrible... just because they don't spend much money with actors... dubbed films are much better because they spend more money in the voice actors...
Animation is even more underestimated than the films or the tv series... so even less money!

Here ya go. ;D
Order this guy's videos by lenght and his first 3 videos are 2 of the movies. He also seems to have all OVAs, specials, etc, though I didn't check if they were subbed or dubbed (I'd risk subbed though).
