In case you didn't know it. I am in Japan right now. Starting my 3rd and final week here for this year.
Today was Spotting Lum Day for me. Really. First: I'm going through Toyosu Station (of the Yurakucho subway line) when I spot this:
Spoiler (hover to show) Ad for a new pachislot (or an expansion of an existing one? I don't know), bearing the image of Our Queen.
Around lunchtime, I took a stroll through the Harajuku neighborhood (known for the most trendy shops in all of Tokyo). I don't even know why I was there. Was it fate? Was I being ... guided?? Whatever the motivation, there I was. I turned a corner, and looked up to see ... Spoiler (hover to show) ... this billboard sign for a fashion shop called SPINNS! And, out front of the shop ... Spoiler (hover to show) ... were these mannequins dressed in Lum-themed fashions!
I wanted to wander in, but I know that a 58-year-old chubby bald American does not belong in a shop like this. Still, amazing to discover that Lum is STILL a hot item (maybe more so than ever).

Mmmmmm Lum merchandise! But damn Ten! Little bastard had to ruin the image...

Well it says new pachinko so it looks like its a new machine! It would be cool to see an Evangelion one.
